I found this through their excellent online reviews, and I was not disappointed! I had a turkey, bacon, and avocado pannini, with a side of fries! It was all served piping hot, and within maybe 10 minutes. Everything was stellar, I could eat those fries every day!! The man was very approachable, welcoming, friendly, and helpful, as well. I cannot even think of the times I've driven right by, hungry! For 'Fast food' it was healthy, & delicious, unusual - in a good way; all that, and fast, too.
If you give it a try, I'm fairly certain you'll be very happy you stopped!

A friend told me about this little shop on the northside of lacrosse. I had an appointment in town so decided to stop and check it out. I wanted to leave a review but then I forgot I could take a photo… ate my food so fast. Just the right touch on the Chicago dog of spice (I’m not a fan of spice normally). The gentleman that usually is here was here again today and he was so patient and kind with my kids and their specific orders. He was also funny and made us leave with big smiles on our faces. He made 4 sandwiches quickly and they came out perfectly, not messy or underdone. Every time I come here or order from here we know what to expect as far as our food goes. He is consistent in the way he makes food to orders. Really grateful for this place and this gentleman!

Had heard for years from friends that this is "The" place to get an Italian beef sandwich. After trying it today I have to agree. They offer sweet or hot and offer to dip it. I had it hot and dipped and just wishing I had grabbed 2, except there's so much meat I probably couldn't finish anyhow. Leaves a nice glow in the mouth so you can remember how good it was.

My boyfriend and I decided to go get dinner tonight, and we have been wanting to try this place for a few months now, and finally found the time to do so. We got to the parking lot 7 minutes ago, as they close at 6. We figured out what we wanted. Maybe took no more than a minute. Start pulling up to the window and the lights go out and a closed sign. This place is the source of true Chicago Dog-ness outside of the Windy City. I'd seen it from a distance, but today I made the time to sample the wares at Press Break. A pair of proper Chicago Dogs, with absolutely no deletions or substitutions. Service with speed and courtesy, like the old days. The food? Well, I loved it, and I'll be coming back as I pass through La Crosse. Every single essential ingredient that sets the Chicago Dog apart from others dogs was present, and each bite was a different selection of flavors and intensities. I intend to try the double, and maybe branch out after that and explore some other things they sell here! For now, I am done eating, and left wanting! Until next time, Press Break!

I just went due to the high reviews posted by others. And I must say, they were not exagerated. Service is incredibly friendly and welcoming, you haven't eaten yet and you will be already smiling. Food was hot fresh and done well, delicious.

It is a drive through. A couple of picnic tables on the parking lot if you absolutely must eat there but it's a to go place to pick-up one of the best if not THE best lunch around. If you are a local, I don't get why you are not eating there weekly. If you are a traveler passing by or staying in the area, look no further for your next lunch place.

We have been there 3 times now and I have loved it every time. Their beef sandwiches are comparable to ANY in Chicago. I've been in WI for nearly 20 yrs and this is the first place that I have found that compares to the ones you get in Chicago (which are the best anywhere). The workers are friendly and efficient. The gentleman that served us was kind, inviting, and well mannered. The food came out fast. The menu is pretty cool! We ordered a hot dog and a beef/sausage combo. It's a unique drive in up on a platform but the food is just alright. My main gripe was the bread on my sandwich was just a regular 50cemt Walmart hamburger bun. Generally paninis should be served on something a bit better than that.

I couldn’t decide so tried both the Chicago style polish dog and the Italian shaved beef sandwich. I added the works with spicy giardianara and au jus on side with the sandwich. Washed it down with a can of lemonade. Prices were fair.
