Last night 8/18/23 went for fish fry ordered a famous Wisconsin fish fry combo plate (white fish and perch) ordered potato pancakes, and Germain potatoes really like Germain potatoe salad. We had reservations for a party of 18 on the first Friday of lent. We ordered the AYCE perch and white fish fry. It was served with potato pancakes,french fries,german potato salad,creamy coleslaw and tartar sauce. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation and stood in bar area, because there were no empty stools,to have a drink while we waited for our table to be set up. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The dining room was full. There was a steady flow of food coming out of the kitchen and the wait time for refills was minimal! Everything was fresh hot and delicious! There was only one disappointment with our visit and that was because there wasn't any Schaum torte made! They did offer brownies and strawberry cheesecake or French silk pie.

Love the All-You-Can-Eat Whitefish! Wonderful sides like non-greasy potato pancakes, german potato salad, cole slaw, applesauce, fries.

And if you have room for dessert, you should try Grandma's Schaum Torte. It's the homemade marshmallowy kind not store bought styrofoam meringue.

We've been coming here for over 20 years.
We drive an hour to get there. It's still worth the drive.

Assuming that the other reviews are reliable, walking in near the end of dinner service was an invitation to not get their best product on a Friday evening. Offering potato pancakes is a bonus. The atmosphere is absolutely very old school charming (pre 1960’s) and Sam is a fine server. May give them another chance during peak hours.

We had no idea what to expect of this Wisconsin supper club that was recommended by a friend, but we had a great time. The main bar had room for our party of 6, and we proceeded to have some delicious drinks from a nice, if easily confused bartender. Six drinks? About $20. Love those Wisco supper clubs! Oh - and the Friday fish fry was delicious. Family style portions and all you can eat whitefish and perch... food was great and so was our server. It's a challenge to park (you may have to go across the street), but it's well worth the trip.

Food was good. Service left a lot to be desired. Salads were brought after an extended wait & then the entree was right there! Slow to ask if more fish was wanted. Asked for 4 pcs, got 3. Never asked if we wanted dessert. Charged for the 2nd salad without bothering to inform the patron that it didn't come with the meal. $3.25 for a wilted salad and not sure what the dark things were in mine. Pretty sure it was rotten lettuce. Was not a good experience.
