It is nice place to gather with Friends or family, the option I selected is, you choose the meat you want and cook it yourself, this also includes self service salad and potatoes. The variety of meat is good also some catch of day for fish that was salmon, Chinook Salmon (King Salmon) or
Coho Salmon or Pink Salmon. from lake Michigan😜. We took different ones, new York, y bone and filet and we moved to BBQ to cookie ourselves, that was very good experience, this is why you need to be there with friends and family. At the end the cost is close to 50 USD but if you manage correctly it is better to share instead of eating 3 as those are big enough to share. We also ordered some wings that were 😋. No desset as impossible to eat more.

Another amazing dinner 10/11/25!
The only thing better than a Packer game (win) is a dinner at Prime Quarter before the game. Pick your own meat/fish from the fridge, get a drink and self grill it on the open BBQ grate and then get a quick trip to the salad and baked potato bar and heaven awaits. Our server MaryS was awesome. Go for the jumbo beers…avoid any specialty drinks as the bar is build for fast vs fancy.

The only reason I came to Green Bay. We called ahead to see how late they were seating. The hostess said 9:45 - 10:00 on a Sunday. I said surprisingly. “You’re open until 10 tonight?”

“We are open until 10 every night. “

We arrived at 8:45 and it was dead. I asked if that have room for one more kidding and they said they are closing and they we taking down the salad and potato bar. I said no you’re open until 10. They said not on Sundays. I told them what the hostess said and the staff told me she was new and didn’t know.

Here’s the deal. Try harder. Don’t guess and respect the customer instead of taking them for granted. I had options this weekend and my time is valuable.

We came from out of town. Called ahead and still got screwed.

Green Bay sucks. Go to any other town in Wisconsin to spend your money.

Defeated the 40oz. Beefeater Sirloin Challenge! I grilled my own. The key is to season it heavy and let the steak rest on the table while you eat your salad and let the baked potato cool before eating it. The timer doesn't start until you slice into the steak. So a 10-15 minute salad and potato let it soak up the seasoning. Save the bread to help change up the flavor of the steak every so often. But out plenty of butter on the bread so it's not dry. You don't have to eat the fat. Only the "edible portion" is required. Overall it was well worth the price. And you get a cool medal for completing and a free meal on your next visit.

We had the best time! This place is nostalgic for me as the location in Milwaukee closed many years ago and I have not been back in probably 20 years. Our server was lovely and so kind and personable. I wish I remembered her name.

It was tequila Tuesday, and I am highly suspicious of any $5 margarita. Hands down one of the best $5 margs I’ve ever had! You can even bring your drinks down by the grill as you cook your meal, and our server even approached us for another round while we were cooking. It was a really fun, unique experience!

I was not overly confident in how to cook my steak, but it turned out amazing. Thick cuts of meat too. I wish they had Chicago steak seasoning, but the Montreal seasoning along with the garlic salt and pepper was just fine. Pretty average salad bar, but everything was fresh. Certainly no complaints for the baked potato. And you can’t beat Texas toast slathered in butter.

We went here for the first time today at the request of my dad, for (early) father's day, and I wasn't really impressed. The prices are quite high even for a steakhouse. The concept sounds fun but it's not like Korean bbq or yakiniku where you're cooking at your table as an activity with your party. You're standing, crowded around one ultra hot grill with everyone else in the place. Dirty and clean plates stack up all over quickly. By the time we finished grilling our steaks we felt like we'd overcome a trial, and I enjoy grilling typically. The steaks ranged from tough to reasonably tasty, and we all got ribeyes cooked similarly. The baked potato was surprisingly very good and the salad bar is fun. Wish there was bigger plates for the potatoes that weren't chilled already for salad. Service was pretty mid, our server was friendly at first but the moment we had an issue with food (do not order their mushrooms and onions, they're NOT sauteed, they tasted like canned steamed mushrooms, and onions had no caramelization), the server got really rude and snippy and argued with us about it, but did remove it from the bill at least. She was slow about drink refills and was visibility irritated when we asked for the bill split into 2. Just basic stuff. Place is very dated but it's kinda cool in a way, feels like you've just stepped back into the 80s or something. Definitely won't go back though.

Came here when on a business trip as people stated it was good. Walking in the atmosphere was great as you can smell the good food in the air. Took a few for the low on staff got to our table to take our orders. Didn't get our drinks for some time is the waitress disappeared and focused on other tables. Went to cook our steaks and they only had one grill open. You have 20 people around 1 grill trying to cook their steaks and have a good time. Well it wasn't a good time. No idea why they didn't have two grills going to make it enjoyable. People complaining all around and staff didn't care.

Our waitress was Stephanie. Without her, we likely would have walked out.
We always have a nice time here, but this night a chef with 8 steaks appeared at what was already a full grill.
Everyone was enjoying each other’s company when he pushed his way rudely between our group and angrily slapped his 8 steaks on the grill.
The same chef that separated us, watched our bread that we couldn’t get to light on fire and burn.
He was totally rude, and not enjoying his job at all, so everyone around him felt it.

My family of 4 two adult and two small children came here last Friday and it was very busy and we’re sat along side the bar which was packed with people it was so loud the people in the bar area were shouting at each other just to hear themselves! We had waitress Stephanie and since it was so packed we just had them cook our food. First it took about 45 mins just for our food to arrive at our table then when it did. My steak was soo rare it was bleeding on my plate of which I ordered medium well. I tried to eat it just so we could get out there and hear our own thoughts but I couldn’t. Stephanie took it back and instead of them cooking a new steak then just put the same one back on the grill and you know what happened they brought back to me tasting of nothing but burnt steak. Stephanie was struggling to keep up and anytime we asked for something she would assist the other guest first then go get what we asked for. I don’t appreciate being treated differently than everyone else. I’m sorry but for 150 for a family of four to eat the least we could get was better service and food. THIS WAS OUR FIRST AND LAST TIME EATING HERE NO WONDER THE OTHER LOCATIONS CLOSED!

This experience is definitely what you want to make it. I recommend taking in the full experience and cooking your own steak. You can have your drinks up there and relax and talk while doing so. If you order an appetizer they bring it to the grill for you. However, if you’re not comfortable making the steak they will do it for you. The food was 10/10 and the service was excellent. My wife ordered a Ribeye steak medium well it came medium rare waited 15-20 minutes for the waitress to get done with other tables to have our ribeye put back on the grill to only be burnt on the outside and still medium rare on the inside. This was my first time visiting this steakhouse. Important note: If you don’t eat meat, this may not be the place for you. There are only two fish options on the menu—I chose the salmon, which I grilled myself, and it turned out great.

However, the restaurant’s interior is seriously outdated and felt uncomfortably hot during our visit. The tables are also too close together. Despite the restaurant being only about 1/4 full, our party of four was originally seated right next to a large group. We requested a different table and were moved elsewhere.

Overall, it was a mid-tier experience. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a unique, interactive dining experience—but be prepared for some drawbacks in comfort and ambiance.

I gave the food a 3, some may have given it less, but the grill attendant was young and probably just needs a little more experience and confidence in large order circumstances. We had an 8 person group and we all ordered all at the same time. It was NOT bad, but we did have several of the steak orders that weren't cooked correctly. But again, you have to get your experience somewhere. I did however rate the food as highly as I did, and give the restaurant a 5, because if the service, cleanliness, staff attitude and atmosphere is any indication then I honestly expect the next visit we make to see improvement in the way the meat is tended and most likely from the same grill chef. We were not pestered but were still very well taken care of. Our drinks never ran dry, the food was very good and the cuts were definitely top quality. Our group in fact didn't notice we visited past closing hours and we never so much as got a tilted glance or dirty look. Like I say. If what I witnessed, on top of the quality of the cuts themselves, is any indication. I fully expect on our next visit to see my steak done perfectly. There will be another dining experience here, and you should give them a try.

We loved the "grill your own" option, and all of the cuts of meat were exceptional. I love the fact that the cost was the same, no matter what cut of meat you choose.
Our service staff was, friendly, personable, and consistent. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and was clean and so were the restrooms.
Will definitely be going back and highly recommend. 10 out 10 rating !!!!

Absolutely awesome
Had the ribeye and it was perfect. The salad bar was fresh and very clean. Baked potato was perfect and the sea salt caramel cheesecake was fantastic

My filet was pieces of meat held together with a toothpick. I expected more from Prime Quarter - a filet thick enough that it could be butterflied.

Wish I would have taken a picture, but that filet mignon wasn't burnt, it was charred. I asked for extra season, not scorched. Had a wooden skewer through it and fatty as hell. Preston was aces though, definitely A1. Superb service.

Well done. Open hearth grill. Can cook your own and have cooked. They have great cuts of beef and all included salad and potato bar. For what they charge, it is worth a visit. The service was very good.It's a bit of an old style place. Some people won't get it. To the one Gentleman. Rib eye steak is prime rib. Just cut off the bone into steaks, but it is the same cut of beef. Good for a family dinner or a night out. There's nothing wrong here. Recommend it.

Incredibly stupid prices. When you have to cook your own food, come on, man. And you don't even have prime rib. Change your name as well.

Maybe it's because I haven't been to one for 20 years, but I enjoyed this experience. A big factor was due to Kelly, a man who interacted well with the customers, made sure food was stocked, and taught be the proper way to twice bake my potatoe!

Place could use some updating. It wasn't super busy, but our server wasn't as available as usual. Prices have gotten extremely high.
Edit one year later, and no updating has been done, and prices continue to rise (mind you, the prices continue to rise and they still don't pay their servers, servers work for tips only). On this occasion, the "employee" grilling for customers took up the entire area of hot coals (it was early, so only the middle 3 feet or so was burning), when it was completely unnecessary to do so, and appeared to not care that customers were wanting to grill around him. He would even allow the steaks he was cooking (which he could NOT stop playing with, by the way) to just flop right over onto your food on the grill, as if we were in his way. If this is the type of thing that goes on there regularly, especially busy nights, Prime Quarter really won't be in business much longer.
On a side note, all of the labels are almost completely worn, if not completely worn off of the seasoning shakers. Good luck finding what you want. Our Texas toast was inedible because we were unable to use garlic powder and had to use garlic salt.
