Privato hosted our 50-person wedding on 9/9/23 and we could not have asked for a better experience. Sara was so kind, helpful, and flexible during our planning process. On the day of our wedding, the staff were so sweet and did such a great job. I believe Alyssa was managing that evening and she did an excellent job and was so accommodating. We had guests tell us it felt like our wedding was being hosted at a friend’s house rather than a venue, and we agree. It felt so personal and special thanks to Sara and the staff. We also had guests tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! It was delicious and accurate to our guest orders. Also, the tiramisu was absolutely amazing! They were also able to accommodate a few tricky allergies our guests had, which we really appreciate. The space just felt so comfortable and Sara was so wonderful moving everything for us according to our discussed plan.

Sara and the whole staff really made our day feel so special and relaxed, we cannot thank them enough!

Set up a carry out order, everything was ready when they said it would be. The food was good, everything in the order was correct despite it being complex due to some food allergies. I haven't dined in but will definitely do carry out again.

Pizza tasted good. And majority of the small bites were also good, although the sausages we didn't like. The taste was not good, and they were raw in the middle. We also tasted the meatballs, which did not have much of a taste. Very sad, because the ingredients are great. But it lacked flavour.
The portians are by far too big for small bites. We were totally full after them and couldn't really eat the pizzas.
We wanted to order an Italian Wedding soup, and it turned out they actually don't have it, although it's on the menu...
But still our main problem with the place are the followings: we had to wait 40 minutes for our table while we saw free tables everywhere at the place. Absolutely didn't make sense to make us wait that long. After that we were directed to our table but the room was terribly cold. The waiter told us the aircon is off, but this temperature did not allow us to enjoy our time there. It was freezing colt. It was cold outside too so maybe some heating would make sense.....

First time trying this place after living here for 5 years and this place by far is the worst. Based on the reviews we thought we were on for a treat. The interior and exterior are modern with an outdoor patio and pleasant atmosphere. However it stops there. Prior to arriving we looked at the menu online excited to try the steak panino only to discover the menu was no longer valid. That was disappointing for me since the rest of their new low carb options are limiting. We pressed on and started with two small plates- the beast meatballs and sausage and pepper skewers. When the dishes arrived they both looked like they were heated in a microwave. The meatballs color wise you could tell were over done and upon biting into them were dry with very little seasoning. We then moved onto the sausage pepper skewers only to bite into the sausages and also find them cold and tasting awful. The cheese they put on both plates weren't even melted and overall the presentation, flavors were the worst we've ever had. We thought chef boyardee did a better job of execution. Needless to say we stopped there and cut our losses. Hopefully for those looking for pizza this place will do a better job but if you are a meat eater and based on the basic ingredients falling short I highly doubt it. If you just want a drink and have a patio outdoor experience this is the place but don't expect any food worth eating. We literally left only eating a few bites which isn't our style being foodies and all. Go to this place at your own risk if you are looking for good food.

Exceptional gluten free pizza. Excellent atmosphere, attentive staff…. Almost too good to be true. Blows oakfire in LG out of the water.

UPDATE:

As of 7/8/22, Privato has turned over entire kitchen staff and does not currently offer gluten free pizza crust. Hopefully this changes soon.

If I could give this place more stars I would! I recently hosted my brother's rehearsal dinner here and the whole process was absolutely perfect! I had been in communication via email and we were able to get everything we wanted. The service was exceptional, the food was outstanding, and we were treated with such kindness the entire time we were there. I am not sure if it was the owner or manager on duty but he welcomed us right away, making sure to take time to congratulate the bride and groom and ended the night with a champagne toast (how sweet!). The server was outstanding! She even offered to hold my 6 month old so that I could eat. The entire wedding party was blown away by the hospitality and food. The loaf of fresh garlic bread is a MUST! And the pizza was cooked to perfection. Truly a fantastic experience. And to end the night the live band got the bride and groom on the dance floor to have their own dance to dance to. Definitely an experience we wont forget!

Fantastic pizza! We only got the thin crust and will definitely try the Chicago style pan pizza the next time. Also got the salad, which was a generous portion and could have easily been shared with another. Highly recommend this place for pizza and salad!

The Tuscan soup was delicious. We also got the shrimp alfredo pizza and added pineapple, and it was perfect. Staff was great, too.

You don't expect to find such great pizza and Italian food in tiny Williams Bay, but Privato Pizza Bistro changes that. The pizza and appetizers are fresh and homemade, the service is great (where else will the house manager stop and converse with your table for almost ten minutes?), and the interior is very warm and inviting (definitely not just a traditional pizza joint).

First try. Pass on the pizza! We ordered a thin crust. Was not a thin crust but thick and hard. Wa given a time to be ready and was ready 10 minutes early so by the time we got it home it was cool and hard thick crust!

Fantastic pizza in downtown Williams bay. We are so happy to have this new place in town. Ordered a pizza for pick up and when we went to pick up they asked to remake to get crust perfect. Had a veggi pizza with added sausage and extra sauce. Crust was done perfectly. Nice and crunchy outside with slight chewy inside. Fantastic toppings cooked perfectly. Appreciate that they went above and beyond to make an amazing pizza. Super friendly staff. Can’t wait to go try eating both inside or outside. We will be back for sure.

Great place and great food.. The space was a lot larger than it looks like from the out side. It is very elegant great for showers and small weddings and reception. Easily can fit 50 or more people. The decor was lovely, so decorating it will be easy..Tell the Sandy Kirkpatrick told you about the place. Don't over look this place.
