We have been here a couple times now. Food has been hit or miss. No matter what time of day, every order of fries were cold and greasy. The menu states broasted chicken all day on Sundays, came in last sunday and couldn't order even though we ordered take out broasted chciken at 2pm the week prior. The server says well if I cant put it in system, that means we don't have it . This week we order 2 large pizzas and garlic cheese bread (60$ )the 4 PC of bread came the size of 2 inch PC for 10 $ there are no toppings on the pizza I had 2 tiny PC of sausage and 3 PC of mushrooms on 3 slices what a joke and a thin layer of cheese staff less than friendly . Every visit they are out of something ranch, tap beer, cheese sauce for the pretzel it's never too busy maybe try and focus on guest service and food quality

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Despite seeing the terrible reviews online, my friends and I decided to go here tonight due to it being about halfway between our houses. We went to dinner about 6pm on a Saturday and there were barely any cars in the parking lot (should have been a warning sign). Inside, there were barely any people and the waitresses were not very friendly. I had decided what I wanted to eat already by looking at the menu online prior to coming; however, when I looked at the menu inside of the restaurant, there were numerous things blacked out with a marker. My friends and I all decided to order the loaded potato skins, and after ordering it, about 10 minutes later, the waitress came back and said they didn’t have any. My friends ordered something else and I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with fries. I asked multiple times for no tortilla and no onions (so just put on the plate like a salad). Before our food came, I had asked for a water which tasted horrible. After a while, my friends’ meals finally came, but mine didn’t. After about 20 minutes, and reminding the waitress my food hadn’t come, my friends had finished their food and were done eating. Finally my wrap came: however, there was no ranch or buffalo sauce with it, it was covered in little chopped up onions (which I cannot eat) and I received no side of fries. I also had a large cup of a random sauce on the side which the waitress didn’t know what it was for but said the cook added it to it. I asked where the actual sauces were and she said they were at the bottom of the salad (however they were not). There were a few pieces of chicken on it but not much. When I explained that I couldn’t eat onions, the waitress did ask me if I wanted a new one; however, I had waited so long, my friends had already finished eating their food and I still hadn’t eaten. I said I would just pick around the onions and asked for my fries. The waitress brought out my fries pretty quickly however they were disgusting. They were so bland, fulllll of oil, soggy, and not warm at all. The waitress said she would take the wrap off my check because it was brought out after everyone else finished eating (not to mention the order being wrong). I started to eat a few pieces of the wrap/salad and did confirm there was no sauces except the chicken pieces being randomly dipped it some sort of sauce? It was so weird. Thankfully I was picking at the food to get around the onions because after only a few bites, I discovered a huge!!!!! moth inside of my salad with its thorax and abdomen violently shaking. It was absolutely disgusting and I wanted to puke. I flagged down the waitress who rudely told me she’d get to me. I waited about 5 minutes and she finally came to our table and I told her about the huge moth. She asked me if I wanted it remade and I told her no as I was absolutely disgusted and all she replied was “well I already removed it from your check” and she walked away. No apology. A while later she came over to our table and gave my friend, not me, 3 tokens for a free drink. My friend gave me one which I then gave back to her as I had only ordered water. Nothing else was done for me. This place is absolutely awful and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Based on the reviews and my experience there confirming what a terrible place it was, I cannot believe this place continues to remain open. The only!!! reason has to be because it’s one of the few restaurants in the area. Please save your money and the risk of eating bugs and drive a few minutes more to go somewhere else.

Inaccurate descriptions. Bland food. Complete rip off.

We ordered out last night and decided to try something new. This was right down the road and we'd figured we'd give it a shot. It was a little pricey but that's just how bar food is and we thought we'd be getting some good food. As you can probably tell from the review, we did not. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which in the description says it comes with tomato, lettuce, bacon and a Chipotle mayo. They had the lettuce but that's it. I could have let the other ingredients slide but the chicken that I was given were end pieces that should have been thrown out. Dry and essentially just the skin. No real meat to it. I had gotten it with the mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were decent. They weren't anything fancy and you could tell they weren't homemade, definitely something you would find at a cafeteria. For $16 I was definitely a little peeved. My boyfriend got some type of burger that he said was pretty decent. So that's a plus. He got it with onion rings which fell apart almost immediately, he ended up not eating almost any of the onion rings because they essentially just disintegrated. All in all paying 40 bucks for two meals and what we got, we will not be coming here ever again or recommending to anyone.

Very bad service. As a matter of fact , we didn’t get any service. No one even tried waiting on us. We were there for about 15 minutes. Employees talking in the back room. Maybe 15 people at the bar. Not busy at all. The bartender even saw us and ignored us.

Place looks good on inside and outside. Food isnt good except for chicken tenders. The service is god awful. I think his name is Tim, he was tending bar and after a 25 min wait for our server to stop by our table to get our drink order...he yelled for her to come by him 'now'. Literally yelled. Insane. They had only Tim and 1 server, its a big place so they were horribly understaffed. Plus they had a biker night with 50+ bikers in the side room. I think they had 1 or a staff just for that area. But the main area was terribly understaffed. Felt horrible for the waitress, she was doing her best. Been here a few times. I don't remember them typically being so understaffed but the food is definitely mediocre at best. I wouldn't return.

My favorite Pub Restaurant on this side of Wisconsin was not open like before. No broaster chicken. Two tried deliveries for pickup both failed. Called twice no pickup. No love this time around maybe next time for an over the road truck driver who hauls frequently along this route.

Went to Pub 55 for Father’s Day, out of chicken strips, no kids menu, everything we asked for was gone. Took forever just to get a drink and when asked a question about the beer menu the waitress had no clue. Drinks were made incorrect. Food took forever and when it came out it was freezing cold. We went on Father’s Day and it was an extremely disappointing experience. I’ll start this by saying, for as big as the place is, it was almost dead. We were a party of 8 which included 3 little kids. When we ordered our drinks, we ordered a pretzel as an appetizer to hold the kids over. Half an hour later we didn’t have it yet, so we asked. The waitress “went to check”, came back and said it would be a few more minutes, and then a couple minutes later said she was just informed they had run out. Sounded more like she forgot to ever put the order in and then when she finally did, that’s when she was informed they didn’t have any. We also noticed that a lot of menu items were crossed off. My husband tried to order a 12” pizza and was told they were out of that size crust, so they could only do a 10” or a 16”. My sons ordered a 2 piece broasted chicken plate and a hot dog platter and both wanted the garlic mashed potatoes. Turns out, they were out of those too, and rather than asking what they would want instead, just automatically gave them fries, which my husband said tasted like they were fried in old oil. We also realized when the bill came that the 2 piece chicken with two sides and a slice of bread cost less than a hotdog with one side, which seems completely backwards. It also took us forever to get our food. All of this to say, we will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

I ordered the tenderloin wrap because Uber eats said it was a popular item. Sadly about 3/4 of the tenderloin was all gristle, and it was extremely greasy to the point where the whole bottom of the wrap was soggy. The garlic potatoes were good, but they tasted exactly like the instant garlic potatoes. I’m not saying that’s what they were, but they’re extremely similar. We also had the burger and fries, no complaints there. I’m not sure if I’ll be ordering again.

Update to my review from 3 years ago, new owners are skimping on food quality. I used to go there and order the Philly ribeye because it was a large tender steak that satisfied my craving when the supper clubs were too busy. I had a Philly ribeye sandwich and it was a tough, dry small (hockey puck accurately describes this) piece of meat that could barely be cut. When I told the waitress that I couldn't even eat more than 3 bites she said "I could've gotten you a new one" which may have been worth it?? I doubt it, but no offer to discount it at all. And the chicken bacon ranch pizza has very few pieces of chicken and it was COVERED in cold ranch. As if the bottle was dumped over the top of it. I wish I would've taken pictures. Unfortunately, it won't be a local "go-to" anymore.

The atmosphere at this place is incredible! The outdoor covered bar and patio is a perfect spot to listen to the live music they have, ready some great food & enjoy a few cocktails.

Group of 7 watched the game there yesterday. Not busy, service was ok. We ordered food during 3rd quarter of game. Our server sat down and took our orders, told Tom he has been sick for the last 3 days...just what you want to hear from the guy that's been serving you drinks and food. The food was awful! Chicken was over cooked, fries and garlic potatoes cold. Tammy got her meal replaced. Tom said he'd eat his and our server brought him two beers for having chicken tenders that were like jerky and cold fries. Our server was just like yeah, that's what we got....AND at 7:00 a server came to our table and said "drink up, we're closing". Unbelievable! Tammy & I had met the owner one time we were in there and she was super nice, made me a drink with jalapeño tequila that was awesome. Just don't understand what's happening there?

Stopped in with a group of about 15 friends. While the staff were working hard, it was clear they were severely understaffed, with only one bartender and one waitress handling the entire place, which included two large parties that seemed to be booked in advance. Naturally, this led to slow service.

The food was disappointing. While the chicken tenders and burgers were average bar fare, several in our group ordered the Philly cheesesteak and chicken wings. Out of the five people who tried these, all said they were the worst they had ever eaten, with none of them eating more than a couple of bites. The only standout dish was the large pretzel, which was actually quite good.

We also asked for ketchup for our fries and chicken strips, but the bottle we were given contained a watery substance that spilled all over the fries—not sure what it was, but it certainly wasn’t ketchup.

Overall, we were very disappointed with both the service and the food, and it's unlikely we’ll return.

Food was good and came out pretty quick. Saw several things on the menu we'd like to potentially try in the future. Bar and dining area well kept and look similar to the layout and design from former ownership. Went in during the Packer game and even though there were only about a dozen patrons on the inside the volume on the game was so loud we couldn't even talk to each other across the table. And sadly our service was awful. No smile, no greeting, never checked on how our food was, had to ask bar for refill and to go containers. After a long wait for our bill she still never asked us how our food was or if she could bring us anything else. Thought it was great that the owner stopped by our table to check on us and chat for a second, but his obvious intoxication and use of crude language was a bit unprofessional. Terrible overpriced food. We had 10 people... A mother's Day get together. No kids menu. Started with appetizers.... Two orders of onion rings two orders of mozzarella sticks and the cheese curds... Nothing came out at the same time.... Very frustrating. Everybody ordered a variety of different things for their meal also super disappointing for the price! The burgers were hockey pucks!! They came with nothing on them at all . Had to ask for lettuce tomato etc... but it was an upcharge. My sister got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich in the steak was one big piece making it really hard to eat instead of being cut up. There was no silverware on the table.... We had to ask for water.... Server was young... inexperienced...but tried. We still tipped her well... just ridiculous for what we paid😕a really bad experience. Way better and more reasonable choices in the area.... Definitely won't be back.

I'm not sure what happened to the quality of the food here since we last ordered it in January, but unfortunately this might be the last time we order from them unless something changes.

Let me caveat that this was a delivery order, so I'm adding one extra star to account for the general loss of quality from a far away delivery vs eating in the restaurant and getting the same quality food. And I should back up a bit. Back in January, 2023 and earlier, formerly Calmes' Pub was one of our favorite places in town. The broccoli chicken alfredo was a hit in our household (in fact, we ordered 3 meals of it once for leftovers for ourselves and our kids. We all loved it!) And the other stuff we had gotten in previous orders was really good, too. Excellent appetizers and whatnot.

Fast forward to today, and it was either a bad experience for us or, according to other reviews we have read after our experience, possibly par for the course lately. To be fair, the food wasn't "bad", it was just kind of ok. We got the broasted chicken, and it looked really good! It was still warm when it got to us, and I was excited to dig in. But, the coleslaw and the dinner roll were both missing. Also (and this is not a slight on the restaurant), we were only able to select a single side through Doordash when it was supposed to be 2 sides. So, we only got the garlic mashed potatoes with it instead of that plus maybe some mixed vegetables, which would have been nice.

Taking that first bite of the chicken, though, felt like I was eating Christmas dinner at the Griswald's. (For those that don't get that reference, the chicken was crispy and looked really tasty, but it had no flavor as if it wasn't well seasoned, and it was so very dry.) I had to eat the chicken with scoops of garlic mashed potatoes to have it be palletable.

Thankfully, the garlic mashed potatoes were pretty good. They weren't fantastic, because it felt like they were instant potatoes, but I am not certain of that, so I'm not taking points off there. It was one of the best parts of the meal, though.

We also got some garlic and dill cheese curds. These were well seasoned and tasty. We had to warm them back up, of course, but that's ok. I can tell these would be even better if they were fresh.

To finish things off, my wife and I split a lava cake. This was a fine experience. The cake was good, the ice cream that came with it was good. It was odd that the cake came cold and the ice cream was packaged with the cake, but again it's delivery and what are you gonna do. At the restaurant I'm sure it'd be tastier, at least.

Our kids got the broccoli chicken alfredo and it was pretty tasty! Though, instead of cavatapi pasta, it was fettacini noodles, and the portions were far less than it used to be. The garlic bread that it came with was really good, though. It just wasn't the same as it used to be.

So, compared to what the restaurant used to be, this was a disappointing experience. Definitely not worth the cost, at least to get it delivered. I would be willing to try the food in person, however, to see if tonight was just a fluke. And, remember, I would have given it 2 stars had this been the food experience while at the restaurant. So, I'll have to stick with 3 stars until I get a chance to try it in person. I just hope tonight was weird because it was Saturday dinner time and someone was having an off night.

My wife and I are very fortunate that we are able to dine out 5 or more times a week. We are not complainers. We never write a place off after 1 bad experience. We have had bad experiences several times in a row. One time we even walked out after 10 minutes of no service when servers were not busy. We're familiar with the service industry. Several weeks ago we gave Pub 55 our last chance. A man named Tim saw we were frustrated. He asked what was wrong and he made it right. We told him that he was the first one that ever showed any concern over issues. We went back tonight with a party of 7 and Tim recognized us and was adamant about good and correct service. It was great. We will be going back to Pub 55 and Tim is the reason. I couldn't find an email address to send this to the owners so this is what it is.

Ordered 2 Caesar salads and some mozz sticks. Salads came in carry out containers with dividers in it for a normal meal so it looked large but once you put the fork in nothing there. $36.00 for two salads that had no salad. Called an managers was supposed to call back still waiting and it has been 2weeks. Paid extra for dipping sauce for mozzarella sticks and not with order.

Nice large patio with an outdoor bar. Large indoor bar with plenty of seating.

Food is good with a good variety of options. Wraps, pizza and burgers. We got the pot stickers which were good.

Did not see a kid menu but they had personal pizza and tenders on menu, environment at dinner was friendly.

This place is GREAT! I stopped in just to check it out and found the atmosphere and bartender complimented one another.

Came back a week later and had a Pretzel, which was the biggest I've ever come across and a Pizza. The pretzel was PERFECT, bit of a crunch and a tasty interior. The Cheese dip which came along with it was nice and spicy, without diminishing the flavor of the pretzel.

I can't wait to come back for the Fish Fry.

This place is what a great bar should be. Open without being congested, indoor and outdoor seating and entertainment although I was not there for the music.

When we first walked in, we were greeted by the owner. First impression, 10/10. He told us to sit wherever we wanted. Our waitress, Halle R, came out immediately. She was beyond fantastic with us. VERY attentive and very kind. I would go back just to have her again. The drinks came out very fast and were pretty tasty. As were the appetizers and the three entrees we ordered. Definitely will be coming back. Oh! Also, the bathroom was top notch. Very updated and modern. Thank you guys for being rockstars!

I ordered the strawberry walnut salad with grilled chicken. The menu says salmon and steak $7 extra and chicken $5 extra. I was charged $7 extra. I told the waitress and she went to check with the manager but never returned to our table. Very disappointing. They should change the menu or charge what is printed on the menu.

Ordered a 16” pizza which was $29.99 and we rated on a scale of 0 to 10 a 2!
It was soggy and not tasty at all. I would not recommend ordering pizza, had sandwiches in the past and were very good.
A lot of $$ for less a pizza, rated at a 2. We mentioned our displeasure to our waiter and he said he was not impressed with the pizza either…

We order take out on June 2nd. We ordered 2 fish dinners, one regular and one large a hamburger basket and a hotdog basket. Our fish orders were missing the bread, coleslaw, and tarter. The hamburger was burnt. Our fries for all the meals looked and tasted like old fry oil. When i called up there to see what they can do on our $62.40 bill, they were just going to give us a $5 off coupon. I asked for a refund and was told that it should be in my account after verifying my last 4 of the card. It is now 2 weeks after and i still have not received my refund. This is ridiculous! I work in the service industry and this is just horrible.

Cozy atmosphere, warm, inviting.
I wish the food and service matched the walking in the door feeling.

Food was very bland, no seasoning on the steak. Bloody Mary's came with absolutely nothing in them, not even a pickle. Everything was running slow. Food was not worth the prices they have.

I was looking forward to coming to Pub 55 because I heard a lot of good things about the place. The place itself was beautiful. My shrimp po boy was pretty good, but the fries were very salty. The thing that took away from the experience was the service. Our waitress walked past us numerous times before coming to our table, and when she approached us, she just stared at us, waiting for us to speak. Our mix drinks were made incorrectly. We weren't given silverware or condiments, etc. I wanted to assume it was because the patio was busy, but even after a majority of people had left, it still took our waitress 15-20min to come back to check in us so we could get our checks. We also noticed that our plates did not have the extras that people at other tables did (veggies on the side of wings). The people I was with said it was out the norm for the service to be that bad. I will be back to try the place again. The prices were excellent.

I’ll give this place 2 stars. We had to head up to the bar to have someone come and serve us. The food was not good. The steak one of us got tasted like the flat top had no seasoning and was undercooked. The burger was still raw in the middle, also had no flavor. The Alfredo we got also wasn’t the greatest either. Thankfully the server was super helpful and really tried to fix the situation. Could definitely use a lot of work.
