I like to get lunch as well when I can as they have a delicious variety of options to choose from.

The last two times I've stopped in and been disappointed with my Italian stallion sub.. today the wild rice soup ( USUALLY MY FAVORITE) was so bland no flavor at all and salt couldnt fix it! I always randomly stop for food on ym way to work and the quality has one down.. was hoping to email the owner but couldn't find an email! I've stopped here a few times, and each time, I love it even more. The atmosphere is country style and rustic. The food I'd EXCELLENT! I can not recommend the Grinch and the Dry aged beef enough. Both delicious sandwiches. The pastries are out of this world, too. Reasonably priced and all homemade. Was driving by on our way home after a brewery road trip when we went past this place. We decided to turn around and check it out and we are so happy that we did. We wandered in off Hwy. 8 on a Sunday afternoon looking for lunch, and found this fantastic farm eats spot! We loved feeding the animals off the side of the parking lot and thought the exterior was decorated so nice. When we walked in — we weren't exactly sure where to go and didn't find anyone at the front register. We walked around to find a written sign that said to pay at the other counter, so we went looking for the other counter. Passed a few tables, we saw two teenage girls sitting behind the deli counter scrolling on their phones. We all deserve a break, and it was obvious they had a busy breakfast for the amount of dirty tables around the room; however, "clean, then lean" is a policy they may need. We loved the store retail items, and all the shop had to offer! Our lunch was hot and delicious, and the scones were fantastic!!! Will return just for them. Our service at the counter was pleasant and the customer service was friendly. Though we didn't initially understand to order at the counter — signage to direct patrons, like a standing chalkboard would be decorative and give direction. Even training to have staff say "Hello/Goodbye" when they hear the door. It's clear the love and time the owners/family have put in, and their staff should understand how important it is for small business. This place is a gem!

I came in one afternoon (10/9/2024) and bought a bracelet and necklace, along with some syrup and a donut. Got home with everything, tried the jewelry on, and didn’t fit. The person that cashed me out, Dusty, didn’t put a receipt in my bag, and I called there the next day to state this as I wanted to return them. I talked to Dusty on the phone and he said that would be no problem and to come in when I can to return them. So, I go back there to return them (10/12/2024), mind you that I live 30 minutes away, waited in line behind a group of people for 10 minutes, for them to say that they couldn’t accept the return without a receipt. Have proof on my bank statement I was there, price tags on the jewelry still, and even a phone record that I had called. First time ever there. I will not return again, and I’ll make sure to let others know about this incident. They wouldn’t allow me to return them because their employee messed up and apparently doesn’t even work up front. Had no business running the register, and giving me false information. That place needs some major help in regards to help there period. And come to find out, they aren’t so pure and simple either. Most of the food product in there is full of artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives. False advertising galore. Truly is a shame.

Well where do I start this place is a joke. If it was possible to give a negative star review this place would have received it. My first time ever coming here And it will be my last. First of all the ketchup on every table is spoiled and fowl tasting. Confront an employee about it and was told the ketchup bottles were changed out every night then she walked back to the kitchen and then completely ignored me. Then after we left I called to speak to a manage and the employee that answered was very rude. Then the manager was also extremely rude and lied to me and said the ketchup was changed out every night. The manager in this place needs to be fired because she clearly has a hard time taking criticism from customers when there just trying to save them from the health department. Which I will be calling on Monday. Because I'm not the only one that has complained about the ketchup. The thing is if there neglecting to handle something as simple as ketchup what other corners are they cutting. Do not recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

My family absolutely loves eating here, however the other night when we stopped for dinner almost all the ketchup bottles on the table had spoiled ketchup in them and I got some pie and I know I should've double checked before leaving but I was in a hurry. My boyfriend and I went there three times. The first time we went there my boyfriend got a sandwich off the menu and being a vegetarian I really wanted a veggie sandwich. I looked at the menu and they obviously had all the ingredients to make a veggie sandwich so I asked if it was possible to make one and the front cashier said yea no problem! I was stoked since I just moved to the area and living ten minutes away to grab some fast/easy food is few and far between spots around here.
The second time we went my boyfriend once again got a sandwich off the menu and I asked for a veggie sandwich with French fries again. This time it was a different cashier and she seemed a little unsure if that was a possibility. But eventually came back and said they could do a grilled cheese with veggies on it and I said sure. Even though it was a different sandwich it was still good, but this was the second time my boyfriend got a sandwich off the menu and was disappointed by it. Half of his sandwich was wet and soggy and he didn’t even finish it.
The third time we went it was the same lady as the second time. My boyfriend decided to also do a veggie sandwich since mine was good both times, but this time when we asked for veggie sandwich’s the cashier lady made such a big deal out of it since it was something not on the menu. Said they could only do a sub and I said that’s fine we’ll do two toasted veggie subs and she was like oh I didn’t know you wanted it toasted I’ll have to check if that’s possible just huffing and puffing about it. I could tell that it was a big deal so I just said all good we don’t need them toasted. We ended up just getting one full sub to go cause we wanted to get out of there. She didn’t ask us if we wanted chips or fries and than didn’t say anything when we grabbed the sub to go.
Being a waitress myself I just couldn’t believe they made us feel like such an inconvenience or a big deal for just a veggie sandwich. When if it was a big deal all they could’ve said sorry but we don’t offer that and I would’ve figured something else out. We won’t be coming back with our service for a fourth time.

It's been over a year since we stopped here and we still talk about how horrible that experience was to this day, every time we drive by. Worst service ever, no one acknowledged us, we waited in line to buy a couple items for 15 min while the one lady in front of us talked to the employees for forever and then continued to walk around and grab more things to buy and bring back to the register while we were obviously just waiting there, done with our shopping. Why not at least even just acknowledge us or apologize for the wait? But nothing, not even a glance in our direction. We ended up just eventually giving up and put our items back, and left without purchasing anything. That entire 20 minutes we were in the store, not a single employee greeted us or even acted like we existed at all. It was incredibly awkward and a waste of time and unfortunately we will never stop in there again. We came here for the weekend Eggs Benedict, which was quite tasty! The hollandaise sauce was one of the best I’ve had. We also had a chocolate scone, which was a bit dry.
This establishment seems to be a farm, a store, and a restaurant combined. We fed some farm animals, which was quite fun.
The store has a variety of products: candles, jams, dairy, signs, and so on.
The service at the restaurant was quick and efficient. There is no one to greet or seat you, so you have to go to the back right corner to order.
My main concern was that there are many outlet boxes sticking out of the ground, and while most are under or near tables, it seems like they could be tripping hazards.

The food is phenomenal! However, I would rate the customer service a 1 if that. First time to this establishment. No direction as to whether to sit, wait to be seated. No greeting whatsoever. You order at the counter, carry your own drinks to your table no matter how many glasses you need to carry. They do bring your food to you but you are expected to clean your own table when finished. Oh yeah, and don't forget the tip bucket on the counter. Tip for what? Again the food was fantastic.

I took my son here once and he loved it. They have a small area outside where they keep pygmy goats, peacocks, donkeys, and pigs. They also have a cute little gift shop and we got some ice cream there as well.

New to the area. On 1/8/22 at 1:45 p.m. I was meeting my husband here and was excited to try the soup and this local establishment. A sweet young lady behind register took my order and I paid for 2 soups. Shortly thereafter, my husband called with a change of plans, right as a different girl brought the soup from kitchen. As I apologized, I asked the girl serving the soup if I could get it to go instead. She got visibly angry, irritated, and was extremely rude. I would be ashamed if this was my daughter, and it is a terrible reflection of a business. It is disappointing that this is our future workforce. After being treated so rudely by the server who I so obviously inconvenienced - I said, "I'm done, I'm leaving, and sorry I inconvenienced you". I left without our soup that I paid for and decided to take my business to a different local restaurant and promised myself I'll never return or recommend because of the way I was treated

This place has the best and most fresh food. We go here every time we head to the cabin. The service is fast and they also have the cutest shop. The cheese curds are a must!! If you get a chance, stop here.

This place has wonderful home-cooked food, and the staff is so friendly! Our southwest salad and cheese burger were both perfect,, and we'll definitely be back. There's also an awesome gift shop with great kitchen items, and baking staples.

I was going to dinner in. But The Prices For What I Saw Served Was Ridiculous. Nice Young Man Working The Til Though. I won't be back. I'm not saying this because I am cheap! We came on a busy Sunday during lunchtime. Only one register open. Food looked good but overpriced and the girl with the blue hair seemed kind of rude when I was trying to use the card reader. Don't think I have a reason to stop by again.
