I can't say enough wonderful things about this unique experience right here in our backyard! The court yard offers some warmer sunny spots but for those of us that enjoy a little shade there are plenty of spots for us. The food...oh my goodness...the pasta is cooked to perfection. The sauce is a delight. This has become my Friday night relaxing, great food experience!! Thanks to the staff for all of your hard work on creating this incredible experience!!

The owners went above and beyond, they even opened early to accommodate us! The food was outstanding, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance of cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a date night. Absolutely worth the 45-minute drive, and we’ll be making the trip again soon. As a non-profit, we had the pleasure to have Purple Basil cater our conference. They did a beautiful charcuterie board for our reception, and a delicious boxed lunch for our attendees. Just introduced my bestie to your pasta. She had the 3 cheese mac & cheese with bacon and I had the zucchini noodles w/ marinara (chicken & mushroom). If I could have videoed her or counted how many times she groaned and said "this is sooo good"....you would have laughed. As always, amazing meal! Only complaint - not enough garlic bread!!

This place is amazing for a quick elevated pasta experience in price, taste and experience. Their temporary location in front of Mission coffee is quite enjoyable. It is enjoyable because they take really good care of the patio with flowers and obviously trash free. The only downside to this location is the busy road in front of it which; what can you do. I love this place because it is so close to home and it makes a great lunch date with my wife every week.

I got the Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli. The cavatappi pasta was al dente and appropriate for a food truck item (read: not too long & fiddly). The Alfredo sauce was light and creamy, not too oily. The broccoli was nice, fresh, and bright green. Finished with a sprinkle of fresh herbs. The shredded parmesan and slice of garlic bread (not too heavy-handed with the garlic) were also a nice touch. They have a good assortment of beverages, including cold brew coffee, which I ordered. Fresh ingredients, friendly service and a pleasant seating area on Post Road. Looking forward to trying their other items.

I absolutely love the terrace location at Mission Coffee on 2860 Post Rd in Plover. The Italian Nachos were a perfect lunch with an IPA. The alfredo paired perfectly with the balsamic drizzle, shaved parmesan, mined tomato, and red onion. This was outdoor dining in Wisconsin at its finest!

I had Purple Basil cater an event at my workplace, in which they were incredibly easy to work with, as well as did an amazing job presenting and delivering the sandwiches and sides. All of my coworkers were very impressed with the job they did, and the food tasted amazing as well. I've also tried their italian nachos, which were phenomenal. The owners are incredible people who are very kind and easygoing, and I could not recommend their food and services enough.

Purple Basil was at the Wis. Rapids Downtown Farmers Market today. I really enjoyed their Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli. They cooked it fresh on-site and it was delicious. I love that this is Veteran owned! I got the Penne with Alfredo sauce, Italian Sausage and Broccoli. The portion size was perfect, Broccoli wasn't overdone. It still had a really good crunch. The sauce was creamy and delicious, and everything worked well together. Definitely got my money's worth!! Love it! Go get some now!

The Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum is so pleased to have engaged Purple Basil’s services during the Museum’s member previews for the 2021 Birds in Art exhibition. From first contact, Carolina and Taylor listened to our proposal for this event and delivered a concept that brought our ideas to fruition. Via its food truck in the sculpture garden throughout two six-hour events, Purple Basil beautifully packaged and presented timely and well-received lunchtime sandwiches and fruit cups, mid-afternoon snacks, and pasta dinner selections. Each and every aspect of the menu, quality, taste, and service delighted our guests and staff. One member wrote: “An alfresco lunch in your whimsical, outdoor sculpture garden was just another example of how well you treat your Woodson Art Museum members. Purple Basil provided delectable choices, all safely wrapped.” Truly, our experience with Purple Basil not only met, but also exceeded, our expectations.

I just stopped here for the first time and got the cavatappi with Alfredo, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms and chicken. Sadly, it was severally under seasoned maybe no salt at all, the chicken was dry, the spinach wasn’t wilted at all and the broccoli was essentially raw. The sauce was also far too thin and the just wasn’t enough.
Overall, a bit disappointed by the food.

They have a lot of potential but just lack some of the fundamentals of cooking pasta that would help make their food taste much better.
