I have never had such a good experience with Qdoba. Every time I go to a Milwaukee location there is an issue. The pickled red onions were pickled here, the sautéed fajita veggies were not raw, the forks were actually stocked, and they weren’t out of anything! Friendly and welcoming staff. Something should be done about the fact that I have to go an hour out of the city for a satisfactory visit but this location is amazing and worth the drive!!!

I’d like to start this review off by saying I never leave a negative review, as I appreciate staff and service, this however needs attention. My girlfriend and I went to the Qdoba Hartford around 8pm on a Saturday night. We were never greeted when we walked in, we ordered our food, after the initial start of our order, both items (quesadilla and a bowl) proceeded to sit on the counter for more than a handful of minutes while the other available employees stood and talked amongst themselves about personal issues. One employee did not wear gloves while handling the transfer of queso, and used their work shirt sleeve as a replacement. Needless to say the food was cold by the time we got into the car to eat it. Very unsanitary, very unsatisfied with the service. Will not be going here again.

Easy app ordering, food is consistently delicious. The only complaint I have is that the chips are stale/not fried properly more often than not and because every time I order chips and queso/salsa for pickup, the containers are stuck in with the chips and the lids pop off pretty much always and flood the whole bag.

Never had a problem with this establishment until today. Everything was a 10/10 minus the chicken they served in the burritos. The chicken was very low quality, cheap, dark meat (mind you, I love dark meat chicken but this was almost inedible). It was really gross, low quality and I had to pick it out. I’m not one to complain and leave a review, but it was bad. Not the same as I used to order. Will order something different next time.

Walked in to see six employees wearing their uniforms sitting down at a table for some sort of celebration.

The woman who served me asked if I was picking up food, I said "no" I'm here to eat. She looked annoyed and said it would be a few minutes. She didn't understand English when ordering.

I ordered a citrus lime burrito, the shrimp were extremely over cooked, smalll and dry. The veggies added must have been frozen, because they were extremely cold and had that frozen crunchy texture. The burrito tasted so awful, I couldn't finish it. What waste of $14.

The restaurant staff sat at a table enjoying some sort of party food, including homemade treats. One got up to fill some on line orders. Not sure if she washed her hands. The woman that made my order went back to serving the six people in Qdoba shirts dessert dessert and liking her fingers.

I wanted to eat inside, so I looked for a table and most were dirty. It was ice cold inside, the temperature was 45* outside. I asked if the air conditioning was on and she said yes.

Honestly, the entire experience was awful. I will not be returning.

The foods okay but the same damn kid at nights who wears his hat low, horrible customer service… he always ruins my burrito every time he wraps it. Everything is outside the burrito and leaking. I keep giving this location a chance and the last 6 times I am always deeply disappointed. Teach the kid to roll a burrito, I even started requested less stuff in the burrito when I see him and he still can’t wrap it.

Super disappointed. This was my first time in this location since moving back from living in California.
I grew up in Hartford and was excited to try the new Qdoba there for the first time.
The service was trash, I walked into the wrong side on accident to start cause I had a long day & was a little backwards. Now usually you get a. “I’m sorry miss the starting side is right down here.”
Nope what did these two boys do. They chuckle at me and I figured out I was on the wrong side not by being politely told but by annoying immature non verbal signals from two guys who honestly shouldn’t be working there if they can’t fake it till they make it and be polite while being in the food industry.
And not to mention I’ve ordered the Brisket before from Qdoba’s in the past and I took one bite of my meal when I got home and it was just disgusting. Maybe the bad service soaked into my brisket. lmfao

Personally only time I’ll ever be going back into this location is for them to handle chips and queso something simple.
Mostly because those two boys working there are simple minded rude workers with a lack of customer service knowledge and don’t know how to help someone feel comfortable while ordering food.
Go to West Bend worth the drive.
Y’all don’t exist for me. Bye!

We have frequented this location a few times since it opened. We noticed there's a large inconsistency in quality at this location. Sometimes we'd get good value for what we paid, but lately it's been terrible. One time we put an order through the app for dinner and arrived at the pickup window. They never even started our food so we had to wait another 10 minutes for our food to get done even though they were not even busy. Tonight we ordered some bowls for dinner and after picking them up and bringing them home, we noticed they were not even half full and had barely any meat. We paid almost $30 for our dinner and instead of giving us the portion sizes we paid for, they gave us two extra bags of chips we didn't order or ask for. With everything becoming more expensive, we will be thinking twice about ever returning to this location.

I almost always use the drive through pickup. I have done it about a dozen times and my food is always ready on time and accurate. Four stars only because I have gotten a few burritos with split tortillas but nothing major. Would give it a 4.7 if I could split the difference between a 4/5.

First time writing a review. Went to the Qdoba in racine last weekend and my buddy had the brisket cheese crusted quesadilla and it was fantastic. Just ordered one in Hartford. TERRIBLE. They put less than an oz of brisket on it and barley anything else on it. When I questioned the amount two times I was told it is up to the server. $11.50 for a $3 quesadilla. Will not go back!

Wow! So underrated! I don’t know why there are so many low reviews of the place. Truthfully, the low reviews are what kept me from visiting in the first place, but a friend wanted to meet here so I bit the bullet and am I glad I did! So good! Not bad. I think they tend to season their food on the lighter side...even if you pick something bold. They must not salt at all ..that did help. I had Haberno Lime which they marked as 4 peppers... Honestly it was about as spicy as ketchup. I'd go back. The outdoor patio was nice on a warm night.

We will not be coming back. We have tried to give this location three chances and it hasn't gotten better which sucks because Hartford has few options for food. The first time we came was within a week of their opening. They were understandably busy. The second time was about a month ago. I ordered online and when I got there, minutes after the time designated online, not only was my order not ready but they attempted to tell me they weren't going to fill it because they were too busy. Why couldn't they have called me or better yet don't even accept online orders? We decided to give it one more try and I told my husband ahead of time if there was a problem I wouldn't be coming back. Again I ordered online. I went inside where there were two couples eating, saying this to point out they weren't busy. Guess what? Once again they didn't have my order ready. Not only that but they hadn't even started it until I walked in and gave them my name despite the online system telling me the time to come and pick up the food. The point of ordering ahead is so you don't have to come in and place your order. Like any other place, you should be able to walk in and grab your order or give your name and they give you your order. I can understand waiting even up to 10 minutes or so for your food but our experience has just been ridiculous.

I promise I'm a reasonable person but the service experienced has ensured we will not return.

Terrible service, terrible atmosphere, terrible food. Two of us come in to find two individuals in line and a family of three just sitting down to eat. So we naturally assume that this should not take long. Wrong…

First, the two clowns behind the counter spend 10 minutes chatting with the two customers ahead of us, who appear to be their buddies. After a lot of very unnecessary discussion of how some supplier screwed up and provided them with flour taco shells, and unprofessional behavior like threatening to squirt a customer with sauce, the two customers are finally passed off to the cashier with an extra bowl of queso. By now, the family of three has eaten and is leaving…

Imagine our surprise when finally given the royal attention of the counter staff, to find several containers empty (the global lettuce supply clearly must be affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine…) And other containers to have plastic bags of colorless foodstuffs, which are doled out with plastic salsa bowls. Gritting teeth and recognizing that nothing will change the situation, we order, pay, and finally sit down.

Only to bite into what I can only describe as a saltlick. Only a very distressed deer would find this palatable. In disgust, we leave. Need I say more?

Group of 4. Didn't get our food. Went in to order, waited over half an hour to be addressed. Finally, they started making our order, but left it to sit on the make line for at least another 20 minutes, getting cold, while they chatted and made other orders. During this, we watched them dump fresh food on top of the old food in the make line. (If you've gotten sick after eating here recently, this would be why!) Not once was there a single glove change. (Ever hear of cross contamination?) It was so bad that our group had to walk out. We were very patient and understanding at first, but after seeing our food sit there in the open after being partially made for at least 20 mins, it absolutely killed our appetite. 👎 (Oh, they did offer to reheat it for us, though! I personally ate the surf and turf from this store and ended up very sick. After a month or so. The wife and friends decided to eat there. After waiting 30 minutes for service. Finally someone comes up to the counter takes half the orders of our group and leaves the counter. 15 minutes later someone comes up takes rest of orders. That person walks away now the entire groups food sits on counter at least another 20 to 30 minutes go buy. During this time I seen why got sick. I watch as people picked things off the floor with same gloves the made my food with as well as money. New food thrown on top old very unclean unprofessional unsafe. Do not take your family here. Come from a food service Manager of quite a few years as well as victim of fd poisoning from this restaurant.

The food as always is amazing, the service at this specific location however is truly a terrible experience. I have gone here five times since they’ve opened and have not had a good experience once. I have gone inside the store in which the service has taken legitimately 10 minutes to make one burrito. I have ordered online for ASAP (getting there 15 minutes after the order) and still having to wait an additional 15 minutes. They have literally 5-7 people working behind the counter yet the service is insanely slow. The management of this store really needs to look at what is going on internally because it is not a “fast” experience. I’ll repeat, food is amazing as always, service is truly not a good experience.

Stopped here after the gym, I walked in and could tell this staff needed more training or more management. On the screens behind the staff it appeared to be ticket times of 18-19min. The counter is just filthy with spilled food all over it and they seem to be out of things and have to get it from the to go line behind them, black beans not in the warming table just on the counter and sharing serving spoons between products. The biggest frustration I had with the experience is I got a burrito bowl, double chix as I normally do and nobody bothered to mention that they were out of chips at 6-630ish and clearly had no intention of making more. I had to go to another store to buy chips for my meal. I've never had this happen at a Qdoba before and I go pretty regularly. Please get this store up to par.

Been here a couple times. 1st thing I'm gonna point out is they are not utilizing that drive thru window as more then just a pick up window. I high suggest that it becomes more then a pick up window.
2nd after reading some other reviews crew definitely needs to go thru a little more training. One time our food barely had toppings then the next is was a good amount. It should consistant.
3rd when you pull up to go in and there are customers you shouldn't see the very few in employees on their phones it's not a good look.
Also cleaning the counters in between orders and cleaning up messes right away would help too.
Being a food service of almost 20 yrs myself this place could do better. Hopefully they get into a set routine and everyone gets up to par.

It's definitely better then some places. I will definitely keep trying them.

Food was not good. Staff untrained. They don't know how to cook rice. Been there twice. Each time on different days the rice is over cooked and soggy. Ordered the new lime shrimp. It wasn't grilled, but basically boiled shrimp. They put the shrimp in a quick bin full of shrimp juice and it just broils in there. I had new employees rolling my food and it came out bad twice. Had one guy swiping his nose while scooping food. I'd like to go back, but they need to get better at those things. Not the worst experience but not great for a new location.

Staff had no sense of urgency and struggled through the whole process. I saw an order get dumped into the food being served to others, homie had no clue how to wrap a burrito, and the place was a mess. The rice in the burrito was under cooked with hard grains. Looked to be an all teen staff that were severely under trained. Disappointing experience at a brand new location. 10$ for a cold burrito.

Owner and Managers: last night (2/24) was not a good experience. The adult was out front then was in the back and not seen after. The teens had no guidance were cooking and serving, but there was no sense of urgency. The restaurant was filthy: food, trash on the floor. Leadership at the right levels and keeping the place looking clean will make people come back. We got food to go, but others thought we ate there. That is how long it took for orders to go out. This is sad as it's a brand new location.

Waited until the second visit to leave a review & so sad it’s a negative one as I have waited FOREVER for a Qdoba in Hartford. First visit a few weeks ago the steak was so fatty and chewy that I had to pick around it - never ever had this experience at any other location. Today ordered pick up after a 12 hour shift but didn’t see options for queso or guacamole online… figured I’d just ask at the window. The first staff member at the window barely acknowledge my question before abruptly stating “that’s because we have none, sorry” as the window was closing and he was walking away. A second staff came to hand me my food without stating anything other than “you’re welcome” when I thanked them. I noted no chips in the bag after checking so I waited a few moments at the window to see if anyone would come back and no one did so I decided to go inside to inquire. Inside I was told they had no chips but there in fact WAS queso and guacamole on the line which I was thankful to get some sides to complete our meal. I am very understanding of being out of things, having an off day for food prep etc. but there is no excuse for poor customer service and shortcuts to make the job easier. Two poor visits in a row.. I don’t even know that I’d like to give this location another go unfortunately!

I was so stoked that QDoba is in Hartford. However, my first experience here today did not live up to the quality of food I'm used to at other QDobas. The chips were not fully cooked — soggy, I almost thought they were stale. But to be fair, only about 50% were undercooked. They had a little too much salt. So I was a little glad that the chip person hardly gave me any. The portion sizes today were across the board not what I've come to expect from QDoba. Granted, it was in the middle of the lunch rush on a Saturday and they have only been open for 2 and a half days — but really, why reduce the portion size? My bowl was half of what the same order gets me at the QDoba over in West Bend.
