I usually love Qdoba but honestly this particular location serves food that is entirely inedible. The chicken was so burnt , I could barely chew it. The rice was so overcooked , it was complete mush. The fajita veggies were completely undercooked and under seasoned. On top of that, the staff were fighting with each other and yelling. Honestly just skip this location - it should be on Kitchen Nightmares.

The service here is by far the worst! I was driving home from Illinois and decided to stop here, big mistake. On top of the service being horrible the food was extremely salty and disgusting. I couldn’t stomach it at all. My Husband took one bite and threw his away. We both have high blood pressure and this food raised mines within a few hours of taking only 3 bites. Those chips are bathed in salt, rice undercooked and crunchy, beans flavorless. I’m starting to believe in this company less and less. Never do a mobile order here. Staff is completely incompetent at prioritizing mobile orders vs people in store. You should not have to wait well over 30 minutes for a mobile order vs someone coming in ordering and getting out in under 5. This is not the first time we've had this issue with this location. But it will be the last. Completely unacceptable.

Better phone ahead to make sure they have what you want. I went to Kenosha location all the way from Illinois. Just for them to tell me they have no chips. For the 3cheese nachos. I mean what’s the point of staying open to 10 if you don’t have anything to eat at 9. They had basically shut down. Very disappointed with my first order at this location.

I placed an online order for pickup on 8/27/25 around 12:00 PM, and not only was my food missing half the ingredients I requested, but the customer service was awful, starting with the MANAGER on duty.

When I called to address the issue, the manager hung up on me mid-conversation. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation, nothing. I couldn’t return in person due to a tight schedule, so this just left me stuck with a messed-up order and no support.

i’ve been going to this Qdoba for years. I’ve never had an issue however, today I went there made my bowl perfectly normal and when I got to the register, the manager was there. When she picked up my order, I told her the proteins that I have, and she said in a very snarky tone “I know“. I let it be as maybe she’s having a rough day, but I had used a free entrée coupon that I received as they messed up my catering order prior, and she once again in a worse tone said “you have to pay for the extra meat“. This was my first horrible experience, but it makes me not wanna go back.

The food here is generally pretty consistent. I would say its like industry standard for QDOBA I've had some great meals, and just some okay meals, most of the time its good. The issue with this location is that the service is like two opposite sides of the spectrum, sometimes they are very nice, and welcoming for example when this gentleman gave me a free bag of chips with my burrito because they ran out of guac. Other times you get just some nasty people working behind the counter. On multiple occasions with different workers, I have noticed that they will not acknowledge you, just right to "what do you want" with so much venom, and they have their air pods in blasting music that you can hear from across the glass barrier. Can be a real toss up on who you get. Some employees are really nice, others are really unprofessional and downright rude.

This location is definitely hit or miss. I’d say about half of the staff does a great job, while the other half really doesn’t seem like they want to be there. One major frustration was arriving during posted business hours, only to be ignored while I stood outside. After knocking, someone finally came to the door 10 minutes later just to say they weren’t opening for at least another 30 minutes due to needing to cook meat—no signage, no heads-up.

They also tend to run out of items often and cleanliness can be questionable at times. I understand they’ve been short-staffed and are usually busy, but the experience is inconsistent. Sometimes the service and food are great, other times it’s a completely different story. Just depends on the day.

I'm sad to admit it ,but I honestly make the drive to Racines location most days just to avoid the frustration.

In front of us and other customers yelled to a co-worker I can’t be everywhere. I can’t be there and here. The employee he yelled at was definitely the person multi tasking. I felt terrible that Tim was so disrespectful to him in front of customers. I don’t know what’s up with this location, but there’s almost always a problem I have here. Never at the one in Racine, ones in Milwaukee, or any others that I’ve been to, just this location. Whether it’s from the food being lukewarm, the protein being overcooked, the rice and or beans being undercooked, to straight up missing salsas on the bowl, the amount of times I’ve had a problem with this location compared to an average good experience here is pretty abysmal. Truly the worst fast food experience I have ever had. Young man filling our order set a plastic container he removed from underneath counter on top of an open pack of flour tortillas. The tomatoes were cross contaminated with a lot of cheese. It was everywhere. When I mentioned the cheese to him he half heartedly scooped up some but it still had a bunch of cheese in it. When I pointed that out, he picked out one piece with his ungloved fingers. The guacamole was the last of the container and he scraped it to try to get some to put on but only managed enough for one taco and spread it out over three and didn't even ask for more supply. They were out of at least 4 products, including pickled onions. No attempt to replace, we just got to choose between what was left. FYI this was at 4:45 on a Thursday. My corn tortillas tasted bad and ripped apart immediately. They had four bottles of hot sauce. All empty. There were also these disgusting buckets sitting out by the garbage. I should give this a two star but the food was good, served fresh. But I had two issues. It looked like the floors and carpets hadn't been mopped or vacuumed. Maybe it's because they were busy, I don't know but that's what I noticed first. This review is for a take out order I placed online in October and had some trouble. I called and spoke to the GM who said he would take care of me, he was working Monday and he would make sure my order was ready. I called before I left to pick up our team lunch. Guess what, he forgot - OK he had time to make it before I got there. I had two vegetarian meals and one with chicken. In route, I get a call saying they didn't have chicken. It wouldn't be defrosted in time. I am not sure how you can go into the start of your lunch rush with no chicken, but I called my colleague who said beef would be OK. Arranged for beef. Arrive, the store was a mess and dirty looking. The glass windows probably hadn't been cleaned in two months. As I paid for the order, the GM checked and I was given 3 veggie meals - no beef. Then he wanted to know if it was OK to take the other meal back. Will not offer to go there for the team, in addition to another restaurant for the others again. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

My cousin had came in to eat in with his coworkers (construction workers) & a server came up to them saying that manager had commented that they brought in tm mud & basically calling em dirty. This was my first time visiting Qdoba in a while as I typically sell my sole to Chipotle. Unfortunately the Chipotle near me has declined significantly so I went to Qdoba instead.

I had the pork burrito which was delicious! Typically I go for the chicken but was feeling a little wild I guess and ended up with pork. Meat was moist and warm. Made correctly, somehow Chipotle always still gets it wrong even tho I am directly telling them what I want on my burrito. Qdoba was attentive and didn't rush, which i very much appreciated.

What really made this experience was actually the service. The three people at the counter were friendly and fun and genuinely seemed interested in helping.

So I have to change my review after going in tonight. Arrived around 7 pm and ended up leaving to go to another location. When I arrived there were 3 people ahead of me, while they waited on 2 other customers that were seemly together. While standing there I was looking around the dining room. The pure filth had me already second guessing my dinner choice. Not 1 table was clean, not even the seats were clean. The build of old food laying around the booth seats was gross. I started to pay attention to the food handling line and that's when i starting seeing fruit flies moving about. Yup that pretty much sealed the deal for me. So in the 15 or so minutes I wasted, I realized just how important your staff is. I have been coming to this location for quite some time but do not see myself returning.

This location seems to have gone down hill. The place was a mess. No napkins. Floor was sticky. Trash and food all over the floor. Not sure if i'll be back. Sad because i like Qdoba better than Chipotle.

The lobby was veryyyyy dirty. Food and crumbs allll over the floor and tables. Not just at one or 2 tables almost every table and floor under the tables were gross. Came around 2 and was not busy at all with plenty of workers doing nothing. The cashier was watching something on his phone at the register!

Food is fine but the service here has really fallen off. They never seem to have more than a couple people working and it takes forever to get through the line even with just a couple customers ahead of me. The amount of times I just have to walk out of the store because I don't have enough time to sir there and wait is extremely frustrating. Going to avoid this location.

this qdoba is a hit or miss. depending on when u go you either get a very nice & welcoming staff or a super rude staff. the food is good, usually. again depending on when you go, ive had some pretty nasty food from there & some really good food. one thing that is quite annoying is how long they wait till they ask for more of something (like rice), when u wait in line for a long time (like 10-20 minutes till u even get to the front since they typically prioritize online orders) itd be nice to not have to wait for them to cook more & then have crunchy rice because they rushed it. typically have good experiences here but there are those days that make u regret wasting ur time

Really tired of ordering a chips and queso in addition to my meals and getting a bag of chips the same size as what comes with the meals. The chips & queso normally come with half a brown bag of chips not a tiny handful like the meals. Stop being cheapskates and give me what I paid for. This tiny amount of chips doesn't even compare to the dish of queso which I'm going to have no chips to finish yet again.

This place has really gone downhill. Every time I’m passing through Kenosha I usually want to stop here because it’s the closest one near me now. Twice now i’ve come here when behind the counter looks incredibly messy and the staff were just very disorganized. Qdoba use to be my go to stop for a meal passing through Kenosha. I don’t think it will be anymore sadly……

unfortunately today was the worst experience i’ve had with qdoba. i eat from here often and usually don’t have issues. today when i got my bowl, they gave me the wrong meat, and the rice was in huge chunks not even broken up. about 30 minutes after finishing my food, my stomach started hurting and i was throwing up constantly. i think the bowl made me sick, which has never happened before but today i REALLY was not satisfied.

I get it but I came in 30 minutes before you closed, then whoever was behind the counter told us they’re pretty much out of everything no chips. I am not sure what is going on at this location tonight. We have eaten here before, and service and food have been good. Tonight....wow! Attitudes, poor ingredient management, no hair nets or pulled back on employees with long hair doing the cooking, messy, and long waits. We waited in line for 25 minutes. My food was made with a meat I didn't want but it was what they had, I feel I inconvenienced them by asking for more Pico because I didn't get a full scoop and they had to break out a new container, my husband was going to want it as well. That is if my husband was going to get his food in the near future. They started making other orders in between us, which would be fine if the girl finishing mine up would have made his right away so we could both have warm food. I asked her to do just that instead of ringing me up, and I was given attitude and a glare. The next question asked of me was " so you want to pay for them together? You are together?" She didn't seem to grasp the concept that yes, my HUSBANDS food needed to be made and we would like to pay and eat warm food together. The attitude and glare was over the top. I didn't yell, but my frustration was evident. I understand staffing shortages, etc but this is getting ridiculous. I don't need attitude from the get go when we started out friendly, polite, and nice and ended up walking out without food because of frustration. I only expect to be treated the way I treat them, not worse.

The chips were old to the point they made my car smell on the drive back to my hotel. Once I settled in I had hope for the burrito, but much to my disappointment it also smelled off. Ever hopeful and starving after a long day on the road, I took a tiny bite of the inside of said burrito. I was immediately filled with regret. The whole thing tasted like it was made with dirty dishwater. I ended up tossing my whole order. Qdubbs is usually a fave of mine! So disappointed 😞

I’ve been going to this Qdoba location for more than 10 years. They always have exceptional service, great managers and employees. Everyone is always polite, efficient, and the food is GREAT (10X better than the other popular chain burrito restaurant… not a fan). As a plus… they DON’T charge extra for guacamole. Only complaint I have is that Qdoba doesn’t have a location in Gurnee… but I recommend the Kenosha location 10/10 and always introduce my friends to Qdoba any chance I get!

The food is good and the employees are very friendly. They work hard and very fast to try to keep up with the customers coming in and their pick up orders. However, there is no doubt that they are overworked. I don't know if they have a turnover problem, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they do. They are working as fast as a person can possibly go because they are very obviously understaffed. Their floors are dirty behind the counter because they are moving like maniacs. I think it would be fun working at Qdoba making food and meeting customers, but not at that pace. I give the employees a 10+, but the company needs to do something about their staffing problem.

I was in yesterday and it was ridiculous. The line was nearly going out the door. I stood waiting for 40 minutes from the time I entered to checked out. I was on my lunch break and was over 10 minutes late getting back when I work in the strip mall. Nobody knew what was going on and they were ignoring customers inside to only focus on online orders (that we're not being picked up. People in line were placing online orders to try and get out faster at this point.) They clearly did not have enough people on much less people who were trained. The staff was not very friendly and it was the smallest burrito I have ever received. I could have driven down to chipotle and made it back to work with a regular sized burrito and made it back to work in time.
