Saw the same volatile impatient worker again here i saw around 2-3 weeks ago on evening shift too (same guy similar experience although that time they were busy but he was very rude upon looked at menu few seconds then a later arrival while ordering needlessly spoke to lady behind me just arrived saying sorry to them just to ridicule me as ordered). 10/12/2025 between 7:00-7:20 this same white guy works there again. Not busy this time at all but I made a super fast order and he kept asking are you done yet over and over upon flopping things down with very poor attitude. Then just walked away and threw something at trash rather than attend to cash register. I regret even giving a low tip and will not be back there. I can imagine if asked him put sauce on it (hurrying me along with no customers) wouldve reacted aggressively (I wouldve avoided trouble over fast food but sometimes need to avoid situations if possible as no one needs additional issues) if I wouldve asked to put sauce on it after hurried me along and just got the packets to go anyway to accomodate around unpleasant situation dealing with bad service.

It is a privelage to work a job like this and get tips from people. You dont even have to wait at a table or focus on presentation much here. Lots of jobs dont have this opportunity and a popular name means people come. I urge people seeing shoddy customer service here to speak up as well or impatient unfriendly attitude.

I was there a couple weeks ago and ordered a bowl. The rice was soggy and old. The meat was Cold they had absolutely no fajita veggies and no cilantro. They could barely make a full meal of what I wanted. I decided to give them another try yesterday and once again they were out of fajita veggies and a few other things like guacamole. It’s a shame because when that place first opened up, it was excellent. Now between the employees not caring, the cleanliness of the place, and the food quality has gone straight downhill. I can understand if you’re super busy, but they were not busy at all. There was nobody in the restaurant other than two other people so to not have things prepped and ready to go. There is absolutely no excuse for that. The worst part is they don’t even apologize for it!

I tried to eat here a year ago with a friend of mine at like 8:30pm, and they were out of so much stuff that we couldn't make two meals. I said never again. Well, my wife and I tried it again last week, and it was horrendous. First of all, this place needs a complete renovation. The furniture is run down, the floors are stained black from dirt, and it just feels like everything is worn out. Then, the food was not good, burnt steak, wilted lettuce, stale chips....it wasn't good. Then, they were out of ice in their fountain machine, which leads me to think that the ice machine is broken. At some point, you have to decide to just pull the plug. This last time will absolutely be my last time stopping here.

I am going to stop ordering salads because I never get dressing! Dry salads are gross in my opinion. Also ordered gauc and it was missing. The past few times I’ve been to the Lake Geneva Qdoba, they are always missing ingredients. Ground beef, lettuce, chips, guacamole, etc. My most recent visit, I asked for Cholula Hot and Sweet chicken, but they were out of the sauce. They then proceeded to make it in front of me, even when one employee said that’s not how you make it and you can’t do that. Needless to say, I threw my entire bowl out because of that AND spoiled lettuce. It’s really unfortunate that this Qdoba declined this badly, I use to go all the time.

We stopped at qdoba in Lake Geneva for lunch. I get they were busy.
We ordered 2 taco salads in taco shells and 2 quasadillas. They were out of shells, super awesome guy says we can make it no issue. So ok fine. The older slow guy had zero idea what he was doing. We repeated our order at least 4 times. He said ok like he understood. My husband questioned the guy why he was putting it in a normal bowl, he said it gets put in there after. Which seeing how we have been here before we knew that wasnt right. We ended with 2 small taco salads no shell and no quasadillas. Awesome.

Today was my first Qdoba experience. The food is m'eh but the guys behind the counter are estupendo! I came away with $10+ worth of food. For me, that's good for a coupla meals & a snack.
To be fair, I passed on some stuff because "Oh, I have that at home." Who does that? What a weirdo.
So anyway, I would testify that this Qdoba, here in Lake Geneva, on the 19th day of March, in the year 2025, 'round about noon, of a Wednesday so gray & rainy as to take the will to live right out of you... what? Oh - this Qdoba, blah, blah, blah, lifted my spirit high above it all.
As I said, the food is m'eh but the place itself is clean, as were all the other customers. As far as I cared to know...

Got to this location at 9:30, 08/09/24. I usually don’t get food when it’s 30 minutes before closing but I had been craving it for months and finally had the time to make it before close. When I get to the door I find out it’s locked. I see a couple eating inside but the rest of the people were workers cleaning up and what seemed like closing. I just stood there checking the closing schedule online and in person. I was so confused and felt ridiculous since workers were just starting at me with an annoyed look! If it says closing at 10pm why close at 9:30? I’ve worked in this type of food service and was always told to stay open until closing time. I would understand if I was 10 minutes before close but 30 minutes?! If it was due to something out of their control or management they could have simply opened the door to tell me they were going earlier….

Today we went and did a pickup order, the staff jammed the food into the bag and the food spilled all over the bag and looked pretty gross by the time we go it home. Not our first issue with Qdoba in Lake Geneva though. The staff walk around like zombies and seem not to care about anything. Its not entirely their fault though because it speaks to a larger issue of the fact that the owner/managers do not care about their business. I honestly do feel bad for the workers because they seem understaffed and overly stressed during busier times. Also a few weeks ago we pulled up to the store around 9 and the workers turned off the lights to act like they were closed. It's a top down issue where no one cares or is able to take control of a bad situation. And to the manager who reads this that means more than likely YOU are apart of the problem.

My experience at Qdoba was bad from the start, the app was acting up, but the people working were nice,, the food had things I hadn't ordered, though. There was a option of juice or milk. But there is a soda machine, speaking of the appearance of it, it was filthy, with Flys, tore up booths, the only thing holding it up was some painting things. On multiple occasions, I have ordered online and in person, they continue to get my order wrong. I was charged extra for queso and didn’t receive it. When ordering catering from restaurants, we usually end of with an excess because they provide more to ensure we don't run out. I ordered catering for 25, and it barely fed 15 adults. We ended up having to order additional food from another restaurant to supplement the lack of food provided. They also forgot the sternos for the "hot bar", so the food got cold really fast too. It was an easy ordering process, but not a great day of experience. I suggest increasing your group size by 10 people I order to have enough food.

Didn’t get a chance to catch the employee’s name but he was tall and had a beard. Dude was super friendly and knowledgeable in explaining the ingredients. He made my gf and I’s experience very welcoming, and was even thoughtful enough to change his gloves after making the previous customer’s food.

Came here june 5th. Late afterrnoon early eve.The line was almost out the door. There were a few workers but only one person making the orders.He was running out of things and overwhelmed. But he remained polite, proffessional and he stayed as efficient as could to get orders out. He didnt let his frustration show or get to him while keeping a collected manner. This kid was a teenager and you rarely see that with the younger generation these days, I paid with a card but I only had $20 in my pocket. We are out of town for a mini vacation so we stopped in at QDOBA for lunch. The restaurant was dirty, had 2 young men working. We had to clean the tables ourselves to eat. Every table was dirty. My friend asked a question about her order and snapped "well you didn't tell me your order so how am I suppose to know that" we also asked for our receipt and he crumbled it up and threw it away. I ordered the steak fajitas and they were ok, not worth the dirty restaurant or rude employee.

we came during the busiest time and honestly only person who was polite was dylan. i only know his name cause some young lady was yelling at him. not professional what so ever… food is good and fresh but PAY DYLAN MORE very sad to see a hard worker be put down in front of a whole restaurant

The Impossible Fajita Bowl was awesome! I added jalapeños to my bowl and they were very fresh, colorful, and freshly pickled. The pickling wasn't overpowering and they had a very good amount of spice

Not the greatest experience. They barley give you meat, argues with you and the lady has a terrible attitude. The cashier was very quiet and rude too. Just overall a horrible experience.

I would like to preface that I love Qdoba, and I am a multiple times a week doba consumer. I go to this particular location every Sunday after my tennis lesson at Lake Geneva Tennis. This particular experience was note worthy because of how out of the ordinarily bad it was. First off, me and my pals walked in and were never greeted, no biggie, I’m not petty like that… but we waited at the counter waiting to be helped for just around 5 minutes. No biggie, i’m not petty like that. Get my usual meal, the brown rice was sticky and aged. No biggie, i’ll still eat it. Then, the three cheese queso is out, which i’m sure was out of their control, but still a bummer. No forks, probably not in their control. Regardless, I’ll be here this time next week, but I wanted to express how dissatisfied I was this time.

Normally I enjoy Qdoba but this location has declined greatly over the last few years. In that time they have given me fewer and fewer chips with my nachos and when I order chips & queso. Also, they've gotten smaller bags for the chips. So now not only is it a smaller amount it's an even smaller amount in a smaller bag. And when you ask for just a few more they say it's an extra charge and that they're giving you "the amount corporate says too." I've never met a more chintzy staff when it comes to tortilla chips...

Steak burrito was bland and steak pieces like shoe leather. A very “cheap” heat achieved through copious amounts of nothing but cayenne pepper. No complexity at all, just ingredients thrown in a tortilla.

Restaurant was dirty & understaffed. Ordered online so did not get to see cleanliness before I ordered. Had I seen the overflowing trash behind the counter, disgusting floor, and old food caked on counter and stainless counter/cabinets, I would have walked out.

Food was edible but Taco Bell has a more authentic flavor, not being funny. Borderline store disgusting cleanliness. Staff were very short and obviously overworked. Management has to be lacking in this location big time. Unfortunate

Stopped in today for lunch. Got nachos with queso, chicken, guac, sour cream and cheese. Within 2 hours got stomach cramps, chills, sweats and nausea then vomiting and diarrhea set in. Lasted a few hours.

New staff is horrible, and the food made me sick, DO NOT ORDER OR EAT FROM HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE A TRIP TO THE HOSPITAL!!!!!
