I placed an online order and I realized my order was missing the main items ( chicken bowl with no chicken, no salsa, and no avocado). I called right away and the assistant manager, Erin, helped me very professionally. She provided top notch customer service. A week later I went to the location to get “free meal” coupons from the restaurant and get some food. I asked the employees if Erin or the manager was there but seems like there was some language barrier so they pointed at a man who was sitting at the table. I went to him and asked if he was the manager, he rudely said no I’m the regional manager. Then I tried explaining why I was there, he cut me off and told one of the employees probably I was there for free coupons and if she would check the office. I wanted to give a compliment about Erin’s professionalism but he didn’t care less. I was still in front of him but he didn’t even look at me anymore so I walked out.
To the regional manager; sir your job relies on customer service. As a regional manager if you are not a people person maybe you should chose yourself a different profession. Your rudeness wasn’t appreciated and I wouldn’t be talking to you if one of the team members you managed didn’t point at you. I came there in a good mood but left without getting any food. I hope you don’t treat your employees the way you treat customers.

My boyfriend placed an order for pickup and I went in to grab it. Most of the other places just put it on a shelf, you grab it, and go. Eventually I went and asked about it. They said they needed to see the confirmation so my boyfriend sent me it and the man I talked to at the restaurant said he needed to see the app. We used guest checkout on the website. We didn’t even use an app. Why would you require us to show you something within an app AND allow guest checkout? Finally I had to have my boyfriend go inside to talk to them. Turns out our order wasn’t even ready also defeating the purpose of scheduling a pickup at a certain time. So not only was the food service worker unhelpful and frankly kind of dismissive and rude, our food wasn’t ready on time. I get it, it’s Qdoba. You don’t go there for a 5 star dining experience. However I do hope they aren’t rude and don’t waste my time. Just for those who read this, make sure you use the app, I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Qdoba makes ordering online easy. Their salads are large, filling, and delicious! The pick up process inside could use improvement. Since the food is behind the counter, you either have to wait in line with others who have yet to order or awkwardly "budge" in line to ask for your food.

Came in for a to-go order on 10/10/23 evening. The guys working were friendly, polite, and worked super fast. It seemed they were short-staffed but still delivered great service while hustling. The person in front of me got a coke, the manager was at the register, and accidentally stumbled with the bottle. He grabbed another one instead so not to give the customer a shook up soda. Taking the extra 2 seconds to care means a lot. Great job guys!

EDIT: I wrote a 3/5 review originally that is no longer relevant. Tried ordering againa few months later and was very pleased. Menu has been revamped, some things back, some gone. This place has very fresh Jalapenos and diverse salsas. The guacamole seemed a bit processed but still all ingredients fresh tasting. This place serves me and mine stale chips every-time we step foot in here. You can ask for different chips and they just hand you another stale bag. Had a chicken bowl yesterday that had the quantity for a baby. Everything is was a speckle of this a speckle of that. When she got to the cilantro and acted like she was dealing with a PINCH OF SALT, I lost it! I looked over at my boyfriends food and asked how he got the adult version. I used to always eat Chipolte until my son said you need to try QDOBA. The people are so nice. I asked for my rice to be on the side. If you ask for extra veggies, it's free. There are so many options and always fresh. Plus, the people at both locations in Wausau and Madison are friendly and so helpful. I really enjoy eating there, and the bowls are bigger.

Service always unpredictable. Sometimes you get the person who's really nice, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. That's more often than not. But sometimes you get someone with an ax to grind and literally hates you as you ask politely for the spicy queso.

I got here at about 11:45 or so to eat an early lunch. I ended up going with the Mango Shrimp and honestly, I wouldn't have eaten it if I wasn't in a strict time crunch with no alternative for several hours.

The shrimp was so over cooked I could bounce it like a basketball. It sucks because the rest of the bowl had excellent flavor, marred by rubbery shrimp.

I always try places twice before writing them off so Qdoba will get another shot but for a first try it was very off-putting.

Qdoba’s flavor is fresh and the quality is great. I have a lot of food sensitivities so it’s perfect to be able to choose the ingredients in my meal. Plus the chips and Guac are free! You don’t find that much anymore. I had enough chips (and burrito bowl) to take some home for a snack. If the chips get a little stale or soft after bringing them home and you want to bring them back to life, just pop them in the oven on 350° or 400° for a couple minutes and they come out crispy with a fresh toasty flavor. I highly recommend Qdoba!

I ordered Qdoba catering from this location for an event my husband and I were hosting. We got steak, chicken, fajitas and all the extras. I am always impressed with the freshness of the food I get at Qdoba but this specific catering experience was great. Between the cashier, Tyler and another worker, Mike, they both asked me if I needed help, provided a decent conversation and genuinely cared about my well being while at their establishment. It made it a special visit and I am excited for my next visit.
