I go in there. The people have bad attitudes. The rice is undercooked. The beans are undercooked at times Their portions of protein are very small all the way around just a very poor restaurant. I live on the southside and I choose to go downtown to their Qdoba because they seem to do a better job in all honesty.

Went in to grab a bite before hitting the highway. Servers acknowledged us.. created our orders we paid and sat. Food was scrumptious. Tables were clean. It was very quiet. Floors were sweaty in the restrooms and in front of the fountains towards the entryway but outside of that small detail, I would definitely return!

Update:
So I returned 😒. Second visit was wildly lacking the same friendly service I received first visit. The girls who made my food were still the best. Once I got to the counter where an older lady was ringing customers, it all went downhill. The "chips" she put in my eat in basket were literal CRUMBS. I asked if this were the only available chips to which she smirked. Cool. We sat and ate. After eating, I returned to the register area to get tray tops. (While waiting i noticed that there were FRESH WHOLE CHIPS in the drawer now) There was a long line so I was trying my best not to interrupt the flow of it. Another customer came up stood directly beside her (in her personal space) and got a top and moved away. After she finished with her customer, I politely asked for two tops, a bag and some fresh chips. She gave me the tops, a plastic bag and a paper bag. At first I was confused. So I asked if she could put chips in the bag. She looked at me and said chips cost extra 😒 I'm like lady be serious, you just gave me crumbs to eat a whole bowl with and now that there are fresh ones you want me to pay extra. After this new experience I probably won't be back. I went to the store and bought mission taco chips to go with my meal 🤷🏾‍♀️and they tasted better. 😎

I went in not sure of what I wanted & felt very rushed w no line behide me, both the lady’s resting face said it all that they did not want to be there let alone make my bowl. I ordered a Chicken Queso... What i got was a Burrito with rice and cheese. Tortilla was cold, and the wrapping , well my two year old could have done a better job. When I got home, and opened it, it was disgusting. This is the 2nd time in a row, that my experience has been lees than acceptable. The young lady was rude, and did not listen when I asked her what to do.

My wife ordered a chicken and steak bowl with cheese, sour cream and Queso. She got two pieces of chicken and steak, rice, lots of Queso, and no cheese. You might find this funny, but l plan on going online as well.

First complaint for me. I am a small business owner, and know that we sometimes have a bad day, but this is getting ridiculous.

Apparently when something that you order is disgusting, the manager (I assumed was a manager because he was wearing a black polo, different than the other workers) will look at you like you're an alien when you try and exchange it and then try to make you feel like an idiot for not wanting to consume something unpalatable. On top of that, the staff will purposely remake the food using untoasted tortillas because they think that cold tortillas are cool to eat. This Qdoba clearly is a joke.

P.s. When we warmed up the food to eat at home, it was still trash.

I used to be able to count on this location, but in recent months, have been so disappointed and wasted my money. I had a bowl previously that was so sad, I had to reach out to get a refund. A few months later, now, I order again thinking that one order was just a rough day, but experienced the same issue of receiving poor quality food that is not even close to what I paid for. 8 dollars for a bowl that only had two individual shrimp in it is so disappointing. Hoping quality can pick up again at some point.

It’d be cool if the food was ever hot. A half hour after opening and they prep 6-8 queso’s and they’re always cold. We even asked if the queso was hot as we keep having problems, it wasn’t. Chips are often stale, prices change depending on who’s ringing you up.

Nov 10, 2024. 1259 noon. These females acted like that had a problem with my skin color. One got offline to avoid preparing My food. I don't even know her. I'm sure it was from offense toward the holy spirt and not towards me. The white lady in front of me was treated with waay more respect if actions are louder at both the subconscious/non cognitive level(s).

I don't eat Qdoba. The wife wanted to go so we ordered chicken bowls. My wife's bowl is almost empty. We were rushed by the workers to pick what we wanted in the bowl, so they didn't get my wife's bowl right anyway. She was so flustered and so upset by how little food was in the bowl that we just left. She's a regular customer and is completely disappointed. Don't think we will be returning.
*Edit. Also only got half a bag of tortilla chips with our two bowls.

Food was alright, very bland. I usually like Qdoba and it has lots of flavors but this was definitely bland. The thing that really gives this 1 star is the customer service. The man to heat my burrito was smiley and happy, all was good. It got passed to a shorter man who did not seem to want to be there. Was hard to understand which isnt a big deal but he seemed angry and irritated when I asked him to repeat. Once we got to the register we asked for a meal with the mildest salsa and someone started giving us pico so we stopped and asked for a wetter salsa. Man scooping salsa was happy to oblige but the one at the register sighed and rolled his eyes. Have never felt so unwanted in a restaurant. Will not be returning to this location. Update: 1 year later and I will still not be returning

Came here around 8pm on 2/9/24. Ordered a Cholula chicken bowl. There was no Cholula chicken in the pan so the lady scooped the Adobo chicken into that pan and poured some Cholula sauce on the chicken and proceeded to scoop it into my bowl.
When I got home, the bowl was drenched in the sauce which overpowered the bowl and the rice was undercooked and still hard in the middle.
I called to speak to the manager and it was the same lady that prepared my bowl. She said she was the “general manager and her name was Michelle”, which she reluctantly gave me when I asked for her name.
She said there was nothing she can do since “that’s how they serve it”.
I’ve been to other locations and they never drenched it in sauce.
When I asked what I should do with the bowl since it was inedible, she told me to toss it and if I wanted a new bowl that she would still have to charge me for it even after I told her I’d bring the bowl back.
When I asked about the undercooked rice, she said I can come back for a side of white rice but she wouldn’t remake my bowl, even though it was her fault my bowl was drenched in Cholula sauce.
Her attitude was disgusting and condescending. If she truly is the GM, she definitely needs additional training and learn how to speak to customers.
I can see why most of the reviews are complaining about horrible customer service; especially if they had to deal with her rude behavior.

I love Qdoba and the food so does my husband, I've gone to the Layton location numerous times I like all the people who take care of us all but one gentleman the Spanish guy with the headband and face mask not sure if he's a manager or something but every time my husband and I go there he always ends up helping us and gets and attitude with my husband or I throws his hands up or gets really cocky while helping us also hands us over to another worker cause he doesn't have the patience to deal with us. It's not pleasant or appreciated. Something needs to be done about him. Or I will go to another location though it's and inconvenience this location is 5 minutes from my home.

The worst qdoba I've ever been to, this is my least favorite location in the greater milwaukee area, I get the same exact meal every time at a few different locations near my home with no issues but I went here because it was closer to my work and on both occasions I've been to this one they are extremely stingey on toppings and portions, they barely fill up the scoops and put hardly any chips in the bag. They also no longer let you order a mini bowl as a kids meal and are very strict about what constitutes as a kids meal. I was also charged more at this location than every other qdoba I've been to even though I always get the exact same thing....bad location I just won't be back to this one bc the bad experiences weren't just a one off time it's been consistently bad both times I've been here.

Really wanted a adobo chicken bowl with extra chicken white rice black beans corn salsa lettuce cheese and sour cream. My hubby went and got it and said the young lady was rushing him. He doesn’t like to make a fuss when people are handling his food. He brought it home and this is the first time I can actually say it was nasty. The lettuce was not only starting to brown but it was almost the entire bowl. Little to no rice at all. The chicken had more fat and a piece of gristle absolutely no cheese and the taco bowl wasn’t crunchy. This will likely be my first and last visit to that one. I tried to eat it because I was hungry but I threw it away I just couldn’t.

I've only been to this location twice, but both times, the food counter had a lot of older debris laying around, and the service was a bit slower than other locations. Wow has this location gone DOWN!!! All they have there is teens working... Walked in and they were all in a huddle talking. Screwed up my order and girl wouldn't pay attention. Had 2 employees just stand there and stare at me. Forgot the extra side of soup including the original side I asked for. Then the kid at the register had no clue what he was doing when ringing me up and trying to put in my loyalty with a reward. Train your staff better!!!! Manager came out after I had to go back to my car and grab the order to prove to them that they didn't give me the soup. Ridiculous!!

Queso that I paid $5 was not even 1/4 full and ICE COLD!
Got Queso on my burrito bowl and it's completely cold because of that.

I love these bowls!! Of Tex Mex!! They’ve got all sorts of ingredients you can pick from!! Rice, beans, your choice of meat, and arrangement of veggies to top it with! Spicy 🌶 or not spicy! They have flour tortillas or corn 🌽 tortillas and a variety of other entrees and beverages! Great service and fantastic food! I always stop 🛑 and grab QDOBA when I get the chance! good afternoon, this is my first time to ever have a horrible experience at QDOBA at this location. i went to the store on 10/31/22 and place order in store to take back to work and eat in my office . when i arrive at work and got settled in i seen that they put an ingredients in my order that i never ask for . so i called the store right away and a young lady told me just to bring it back and i told her i was stuck in the office the rest of the day . So,,,, the next day i came back to the store and a lady wearing black shirt and sweater and i told her what happen ( an easy fix ) and right away she verbally attack me saying well that was your fault and i should have been looking when the person behide the counter was making the food. i told her, not everyone looks ( we ask customer ,some of us will just tell you what we want on of food ) so she told me again , well it is your fault and not ours.
i have never ever experience such rude service ever.
the easy was to handle this was to just remake the order.

Very dissatisfied and upset that I even have to give two stars to one of my favorite food spots. However the location on 6th and Layton barely earned these two stars after multiple chances with the hope that they will get better. I always order the same. I got a burrito bowl and the chips that are always given on the side have been meticulously counted by the older Hispanic man at the register. Each time getting less chips. A small bag is barely 25% full. Then I ordered Queso on the side and the young Hispanic girl gives me 1/4 the cup with cold cheese. I question the amount and she argued that she’s giving the amount they’re told but other locations get it more than half full and it’s hot. This location has gotten really cheap and their food is cold. They’re not good with customer service and I will never go there again.

Unfortunately because this location is close to my house I fail myself and go here. I ordered online and picked it up and thought that maybe I’d be better that way I don’t have to deal with what I had to last week with an older Hispanic lady asking me if I wanted salsas and I said no then I said I wanted pico de gallo then she looked upset at me and said “that’s a salsa” so I said I usually just call it pico. Mind you it didn’t take more than a second to just give it to me and keep moving along with other ingredients. She didn’t have to add the attitude. Then a young Hispanic girl asked me what else I wanted so I once again made the mistake and said avocado, so she scolded me also and said “this is guacamole not avocado” so I’m Hispanic too and I told her that avocado, aguacate is all the same and it’s how guacamole is made. Like you understood me girl. There’s nothing else that contains avocado. It was annoying. Not to mention the cashier charged me full price when I told him I wanted to use my reward. Well back to today and again my pick up order has a small handful of chips. There is an older Hispanic man that pre makes these bags and it’s ridiculous. They also forgot my lettuce on my bowl. I will not be reviewing them again because I will NOT visit again this store. Other locations are on top of their orders and provide good customer service. This was just too horrible for a customer to experience.

Every time I order from this location, some of the ingredients taste borderline rancid like they are spoiling. When I order from the location on Miller Parkway, the ingredients always taste fresh and you can taste individual flavors.

Very had experience. I don't know if the worker was racist but my experience with the worker was racially motivated very disrespectful. She was very rude. Wish I had more space to really express my concerns. Thumbs down to them.

You gotta make sure you slow down and get all the toppings you want.you can actually get anything in the pans on your food you just have to ask.They have shrimp now.
