If I would’ve known my order was wrong, I woulda just walked out and let y’all keep that, like the first one! I’m originally from Denver but live in Houston which doesn’t have a Qdoba. I’m in Milwaukee for my son’s wedding and was excited to find a Qdoba near my Hotel. I came in at 4ish on Saturday 08/30/25, it was a little depressing that there wasn’t a greeting, acknowledgement or at least one smile from the crew of three. Any sign of happiness or self worth has been completely exhausted from this staff unfortunately. I was checked out a person in a blue shirt which I think may have been in a management position. She spoke so soft I had to ask to repeat. I wasn’t offered anything to drink but asked for a water nonetheless since that is my drink of choice. I was told there were none even though an employee was drinking orange Fanta out of one on the front line. I guess water cups are just for employees.

Usually I get a bowl and this time I wanted a burrito, should have stuck with what I usually get because this burrito shell was like chewing RUBBER, and to top it off there was big slices of peppers in the burrito. Smh. Do better!! This is why its hard for customers to tip at times because the restaurant messes it up for the drivers with poor prep of the food. This is my first and last time ordering a rubbery burrito from Qdoba.

Amazing experience, devoured every bite (image posted for scale) The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was live and place was kept clean. Portions were very generous for the price. Took my tinder date here ( she was a bit shy for the photo) and made her pay for my food whilst she watched me absolutely make this quesadilla talk dirty to me. Safe to say no second date but there’s definitely gonna be a second time I come to this location! 5 stars.🙂

I found finger nail clippings in my food. Yes. FINGER NAIL CLIPPINGS. I PRAY that I do not get sick. While the workers were wearing gloves, one of them scratched her head before preparing the food which defeats the purpose of wearing gloves obviously if you are gonna be that nasty.

The rice was very hard and crunchy with clumps in it which I took pictures of by the way to show you all what I was served. I was spitting out the hard rice that was mixed with soft rice left and right, I was so hungry after work I ate the crap with displeasure it was either eat or starve until pay day it’s like they took old rice from left over trash and served it to stretch the inventory or something, my bowl was very light, this is a protein bowl and it was portioned poorly. Very disappointed!!!

I went in to buy some food during my meal break on my 8 hour shift and had a not so "jolly" experience. I paid $17 for my meal and got a tiny scoop of steak and rice (the main parts of the burrito) but a lot of other toppings that filled up my burrito. The guy who served the meat and rice looked more concerned with going home, not doing his job with positivity, rather than actually giving me my hard earned money's worth of steak. The night, however, didn't go to waste fully as the other man served me a satisfactory amount of toppings to fill my burrito. He had a smile on his face and asked me nicely what toppings I wanted. I should not have to pay $17 and tip for a miniscule amount of meat (the main part of the burrito) or have workers serving me without any care for custumer service but I have a high respect for the workforce, especially those working to make ends meet especially during the busy holiday season. In future please give customers a decent amount of meat as this food is still pretty expensive and please treat people kindly with a smile, especially when working with customer service.

Changed my review.

Just went a few hours ago, and gave them my order. I only stated that I wanted extra brown rice.Somehow, down the line when I get to the register they say “Extra Chicken?” I say, No, I only asked for Extra Rice. So the lady, gives me extra rice, AND extra chicken on the burrito even though I did not request extra chicken. When I stated this at the register, they tried to say that I DID say extra chicken when I did not. And the guy, had an attitude when I said that I’m not going to pay for a burrito with extra chicken, because I did not request it, only extra rice. SO THEN, they decide to remake it and try to do it off of memory, instead of confirming the vegetables with me, almost screwing up the burrito AGAIN. Anyways, I get to the register, the guy says the total, and I ask him for a glass bottle of coke, he proceeds to grab diet coke! I say, no sir I want the glass bottle of coke. HE then rolls his eyes! Like, how dare he. It’s not my fault you guys can’t STOP and LISTEN to people carefully when they’re ordering.

Let me just say I had one of the best experiences here at this location than I have ever at any other location. They had some of the best customer service. I had questions about specific items on the menu but Maria in particular had the right answer to everything I asked. I have gone to other locations and no one ever wants to help but Maria and the rest of the staff here at this location were the best of the best. If I could give zero stars I would. I went yesterday after a Bucks game, and the tension from staff was felt the second I walked in the door. The lady who was making the food complained that people were coming in the store, she was swearing, saying inappropriate words, and continued to say “I can’t even do this right now, I’m so angry”. She continued to be angry at customers when she made mistakes about their orders. The food, although good, did not look appetizing, and she almost threw it down near the register. I understand that everyone has a bad day, but this was some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would recommend all customers go to other locations as I wouldn’t want anyone to have the experience that I did.

How is Qdoba not more popular than Chipotle. Food was way better.
This particular location the Manager Ethan was very personable but didn’t overdo it like the phonies at Chick Fil A. He was just genuinely a good dude.
The portions are bigger than Chipotle’s but not overflowing and that queso
I actually saw them grilling half chickens on the grill right in front of me. I dined in while waiting for my daughter and her friends at a concert. I sat down and just beat the crowd that came in after and I watched Ethan handle every order with patience and a smile on his face.
As a restaurant manager myself with “niche” food it’s hard to get it right. This was an awesome meal and they put so much chips in the bag I’m still eating them in the car!
Only knock was the tables were dirty but when it’s just Ethan and a prep/cook type employee you can’t be everywhere at once.
Overall Ethan made my first ever experience at a Qdoba an awesome one. Hope he gets some recognition for his attitude, his presentation and his attention to quality.

I experienced the best customer services just now at this location. Although its on a busy downtown corner the service was excellent. I was in line for a few minutes line was long ,I ordered my food but when it was time for me to pay, my card was freezing and would read declined. I asked The manager who was behind the register to hold my food while i run to get my wallet, she insisted i take the food without pay, the young lady who prepared my food jumped and demanded its put on her meal of the day. Online order of the Mango Chicken Bowl with the only change that I wanted pinto & not black beans. Tastes delicious however it’s missing a main ingredient, the mango salsa. Who knew that I had to be specific that I wanted the salsa since that’s how it’s advertised on their website 🤷🏻‍♀️. It's sad to see one of Milwaukee's great eateries fall from greatness but in the case of Qudoba on Water St. that is EXACTLY what has happened. A month a go this review may have gone in a whole different direction, "5 Stars" easy but as I see it now this establishment is on a sinking ship and the only life raft they have is lost at sea. I went in to order for myself and two other people. There wasn’t much of a line, and there was a nice Latino woman that started to help me but didn’t speak English much, so another employee took over. She was a taller African-American woman and she had a black bonnet on her head. She had the worst attitude and continued to have an attitude the entire time I was ordering my food. I kept on being nice although she was not and kept telling her thank you. I asked for half and half flavored queso which she told me that it would be an extra charge, which was new to me, because I didn’t want extra just a little of both flavors. When she talked she wasn’t being speaking loud enough for me to clearly hear what she was saying. She just continued to have a nasty attitude and tone with me and kept rolling her eyes as if I had done something wrong to her. When I got to the register, another employee had the same type of vibe and I asked her a question and she was snappy towards me. Mind you I’m being nice and polite with a smile and still saying thank you. She even was rude to another customer who came to ask her a question while I was waiting on my food to be completed. I will NEVER patronize this particular location ever again! I’ve never been treated so rudely at a Qdoba, or even at this location. I got two kids meals, and two bowls and still have them a tip but they still was very rude. Not all of the employees just two of them. People shouldn’t be made to feel as if they’ve done something wrong when they only came to order their lunch. The food was great though.

I absolutely love Qdoba but this location is terrible. I arrived at 11:00pm, door states they’re open until midnight.

Inside they only had sour cream, a few toppings, and steak. No rice, no beans, no chicken, literally nothing else. They would not make anything else and said I could only have steak if I wanted.

Even more odd is amidst all of this they continually reminded me that they were closing.

It was just a strange and entirely unsatisfying experience.

I requested a chicken bowl with guacamole and other items.. Never got the chicken or the guacamole!! Like how can you forget the chicken!!! 🤦🏽‍♂️ ridiculous.. that was the main point of the bowl, if they would've forgotten the guacamole its fine it happens but the chicken that's fckd up, really disappointed when I opened up my meal to see this..
