This location has a very interesting idea about how to ship 3 tacos to go. They split kid tacos into seperate cups and left tortillas seperate so that we could build the tacos, why not do the same for entree tacos? Just shoved them in a messy bowl and it was impossible to eat without rebuilding the tacos on fresh tortillas. Luckily I had some.

Another gripe I have, we buy milk with our kids meal. We left the milk open at room temp for 3 days and it doesn't smell at all. The amount of preservatives they put in this crap is unreal. The fact these are served to children should be criminal.

I've ordered from here several times, and usually enjoy our experience. This time was terrible. We ordered a kids nacho meal with our oder and they didn't give us chips. After I went back to Qdoba after we opened our food at home to get the chips we were missing, the cashier told me they were out of chips. They were also out of corn tortilla. They also forgot to give us the side of white rice we ordered. The cashier didn't offer to give me a credit for our kids meal or anything. Each time I've Been to this location, (mukwonago wi) one of the workers preparing the orders has a FULL beard. I would think it would be Qdoba's food preparation policy to require employees to wear beard nets. In addition to that I feel hats or hair nets should be worn as well. You're preparing food for human consumption. Nobody wants someone else's hair in their food. C'mon Qdoba do better.

Update 12/4/23:
Everything has improved here! I get utensils now with every take out order, a few napkins (usually more than the 2 I got today), the cashiers are always ready to hand you your pickup order and the chips have been spot on for a year now. Now I just wish they’d regularly put down wood chips by the side door since it’s muddy there (or pave it or install garden stones for longer lasting results).

Update 1/11/23:
Better chips since my last review (consistent), they finally figured out how to make the best brisket (also consistently), but I don’t like how they don’t answer the phone until it’s rung about 20 times and my watch notified me today that the music in the dining area was over 100dB. They also now make you ask for your pickup order, but aren’t always near the register to help you in a timely manner.

I’ve gotten multiple meals from the Mukwonago Qdoba and this Wednesday the chips tasted funny, like they were cooked in old grease. I also am only able to eat the brisket as it’s gluten, dairy and sugar free, but it’s often so gnarly I can’t help but spit it out. If I’m lucky I get a patient server that will carefully choose meat for me, others race through my order as if it was an online order and I was not standing there. I also got a stain of red salsa on my jeans from the bottom of my container of salad recently, which was not due to anything in my salad. I hope this location is working towards improving their customer service and quality.

Update: They responded to my review immediately (just like all the others) and I emailed them immediately referencing my review as they requested. The automatic email said they’re behind in providing responses and it’s already 5 days late. I do know that 4 days later the chips still tasted funny, as my friend agreed and on day 5 my coworkers agreed they still taste off.

Giving 5 🌟 for the girl with the blonde ponytail for always holding it together even tonight when her manager was nowhere to be found and the cook had to work on the register because they were short staffed. 11/18/22 7:15pm ish. I stop in often and I gotta say I usually know if my food will be yummy or not the second I walk in. It seems to me they usually have enough employees but they're not properly trained. He got all irrate saying how he wasn't going to be filling the meat all day if I wanted extra I'd have to pay more. Hey these companies need to make them weight portion cups if this is how it is. The food was great, but several teens working there, one in particular, aren't. She is a brunette with long hair. She treats customers with utter contempt. This employee with only speak to ask food questions and won't smile or make much eye contact. It's the second time we'd noticed her poor attitude. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time, thinking maybe she had a bad day, but she treated us the same way the next time as well. Be careful, I watched a worker get extremely rude with a customer that returned their food, when I got home with my take out order I found their returned food in my order instead of some of my food. An unacceptable mistake and when I contacted them later to let them know they didn't seem to care and just gave me a couple free meals, like I'm going to get food from a place that would serve me unsanitary food... We are doba addicts. It's almost pathetic. We go to doba at least once a week, sometimes twice and hold champ status. It's some weird form of texmex crack. I get the three cheese nachos more often than not loaded up with cholula chicken, fajitas, chile crema, lime dressing, black beans, corn salsa pico, the pickled onion and a little cheese. The boy gets a chicken burrito. Mukwanago location is our preferred, but they frequently run out of stuff but the people are super nice.
