I stood in line and watched as people were served food and smiles. For some reason my two burritos, one bowl order was too much? I did not get any smiles like the 4 people ahead of me and two people behind me. I smiled when I was up to order, but I stopped smiling once the guys SHOWED they were annoyed. I could not tell what they were so annoyed by because they started to whisper to each other in Spanish. This is the second time it's happened. I did have one burrito double- wrapped. The second guy didn't understand that. I have never had a problem ordering this way at another location. In fact, I was told by an employee that I should order the double-wrapped burrito to avoid spillage because my son likes double meat.
I didn't write a review the first time because I thought the guys were just tired, but these same guys treated me the same way. Maybe they did not like that I placed a larger order than just one bowl or burrito like everyone else. (I like to go into the stores so I can look at the food before I order. I don't place online orders, but I have never had a problem going into a store with my order.)
I wish I had the guys names, because there really are some great bubbly people that work there. I don't want people thinking all the people working there are like this. My family moved to the area from Menomonee Falls, and I was excited there was a Q'dubs by the house because we go 3-5 times a month. Just to avoid any unnecessary stress, I will just continue going to the one in Menomonee Falls.
The store was clean and the food was good as normal.

My 14yr old daughter and I love this Qdoba location. We enjoy the nice and friendly employees! The atmosphere is stress free and laid back. The two of us like sitting inside relaxing; while enjoying our delicious food. We enjoy the fact that I can have my food my way and she can order her’s the way she loves. I love the Coke from the old school fountain from here. It’s always mixed perfectly! I like that you can go gluten free, vegetarian and no cheese options.

This location is usually great. Normally the portions are so large I can barely finish it. Today 3 burritos were tiny, missing ingredients, and folded improperly. I couldn't bite through a couple parts because there were too many layers of tortilla.

For $10 a burrito I expect the correct portions and to have it properly folded.

First time ever at this location of qdoba I find out that they don’t let you choose all the sauce if you want. I asked for extra and they literally put 10% of the scoop and than deny to put all sauces and says they only allow up to 3. I had a negative experience at Qdoba where a manager was loud, abrasive, and tried to overcharge me for a small cup of pico. When my wife questioned his behavior, he accused her of wanting free food. I have been to this location many times. I will be 100% honest I personally do not enjoy food from Qdoba period. I prefer other restaurants in this category over Qdoba and would choose them. I go to eat at Qdoba with my mom because she enjoys it. With that said, every time we go to this location the service and food have much to be desired. Tonight was no different in those areas; however, in the food safety area, there were a couple MAJOR issues.

I'm not just complaining either, I have a professional academic background in culinary, have taught culinary and worked in foodservice in many roles over the past 20 years. I also have earned my ServSafe certification from the Wisconsin Restaurant Association, which I assume, this location should have employees that are certified as well. From my side of the counter, there were quite a number of issues but the following are two major ones that I just cannot overlook. The employee making my food was not wearing a head covering (doesn't matter that he is bald) OR a beard net. His beard was grown out about 5in past his chin. Not wearing a beard net is completely unacceptable! Also, two other employees were not wearing head coverings while making food on the line. This included the manager on duty. Restaurants that do not comply with basic food safety practices are not places I would recommend eating at. If these practices are not being followed who knows what other safety practices may not be followed. This is how people get very sick and foodborne illness is nothing to mess around with.

More than reviewing the food (which is very good BTW), I would like to leave my comment for the people that work here.
The staff is amazing and extremely friendly. They will always have a smile on, and will be very cheerful. I frequent this spot for lunch almost all the time during the weekdays.
The staff ensures that the tables are cleaned regularly. They are also very efficient in getting your food moving 'through the line', which ultimately ensures that you are in and out in less than 2 mins!
Food is fresh and the warm items are actually really warm!

I will always recommend this spot, and I will keep coming here! :)

Only go here if you like very small portions. My friend and I used to come to this Qdoba every day we had class at the Tech. However, the last 5 times we have gone the portions have become absolutely ridiculous. I eat at Qdoba at least 1-2 times a week and every other location I have been to gives a normal portion. Consistently now, the Pewaukee location gives a 1/2 scoop of rice, a half scoop of beans, and a half scoop of protein.

If you order a bowl, you will literally see the bottom of the bowl around your portion. If you have a burrito, be prepared to taste mostly the wrap as that is what makes up most of the burrito. Everyone else in our class you has gone has also noticed this and the past two times it ended up being just my friend and I who went rather than the 10+ guys that normally would go. They all agree the portions not worth the price and a total rip off. This is so disappointing as the staff is usually very friendly.

3rd time in a row that I truly felt unwelcome here. Just even walking in the door. Qdoba employees please smile. Even just a little. You may not feel like it but please don't make me feel I am your enemy for ordering or picking up food. I felt as though I was in a prison line asking for something I shouldn't. Is there a shortage of food? I literally do not understand why they give the least amount of proportions possible, this is every time, the pinto beans a restocked to the top of the bin yet they give you a plastic spoon worth of beans. I can literally count on one hand how many strands of lettuce they give you. Okay I get maybe giving you half a scoop worth of meat but for lettuce? Then the audacity to drown the bowl in sour cream. I don’t understand why the rice isn’t covering the bottom of the bowl, they literally give you less then 100 grains of rice. The top of the lid is literally untouched by the food and that is a huge indicator that you did not get enough food. Basically 10 dollars for 5 dollars worth of food that is subpar in taste and quality. The past few times we’ve ordered for pick up have been very disappointing. We always get the bowls without rice. It seems that they skimp on everything, especially the meat. Horrible. I will never go here again. It seems that every time I order online they some how mess it up. Today for example I ordered a burrito bowl, I ordered sour cream on it and didn’t get any, they put about 4 lettuce leaves on it, a crazy amount of rice with a pinch of the meat I ordered. This place needs new employees or new management. Will never waste another dollar here again. Chipotle is way better anyways.

Not a bad choice on the menu. The impossible meat is really good! Seasoned just right. COVID 19 precautions here were impressive. Felt safe eating here!
