This establishment has the best mojitos. Scott was very friendly and funny. He was super fast and efficient at making drinks and cooking up delicious food. It's a perfect place to stop in for lunch, coming off the bike trail. The patio has beautiful views of the WI River. I hope to be back someday.

We recently hosted our daughter’s wedding and were in charge of supplying all the alcohol for the open bar. We wanted a signature drink that would impress our guests — and thanks to Scotty and Mr. Ques, we absolutely nailed it!

Scotty provided us with a large batch of pre-made mojito mix — everything but the rum. It was incredibly easy for our bartenders to serve: just shake, pour over ice, add rum, lime, and fresh mint. That’s it! The mojitos were a total hit and became the talk of the night.

If you're planning an event and want a crowd-pleasing signature drink without the hassle, I highly recommend having Mr. Ques supply your party. Thank you, Scotty, for helping make our celebration unforgettable!

I can't recommend Cue's Bar and River Deck enough. The location is amazing, being right on the Wisconsin River, with a hiking and biking blacktop trail visible below the deck. Sitting on the outside deck looking at the river in the shade was really, really nice. The inside has a great atmosphere, with a great bar, and the walls being all light colored beautiful wood. Scott is such a nice guy and gives great service. My "The Trail Walker" grilled sandwich was spectacular with turkey, bacon, avocado, cheese and tomato. Wow good. I know you will like Cue's as much as I did!

One of my favorite stops- who can resist 60 different mojito options under one roof? Be aware - No "plastic" accepted (i.e., credit or debit cards). There is an ATM on-site, but it will charge you at least $2.50 for any transaction. So be sure to bring ample cash with you beforehand. I did not know this beforehand and knocked off a star for "Service" because of it. Now onto the actual review.

I just tried this place today (3/1/2025) since it is so hard to find a decent mojito in the Sauk Prairie-Baraboo area. You can get your standard white rum one or a variety of other flavors, which adds a unique factor to this bar. The two mojitos that I had were very good, highly recommended!

Food options are limited to a number of paninis, pizza, or chips, but my panini was halfway decent so I will not complain. The olive oil and rosemary chips that I had were very good as well!

The bartender was all right, but nothing special outside of his ability to make a decent panini and some great mojitos. Could have been a bit friendly and less terse, if I am being honest.

Overall, though, as long as you have cash on you beforehand, this is a decent, somewhat quiet watering hole to hang out at on the weekend.

We stopped by here on August 7th in the middle of a huge storm and from the moment we stepped foot here we were greeted and had hands down had the best time. Food/Drink: when I tell you I don’t like mojitos, I don’t like mojitos. He convinced me to try their world famous ones and I was incredibly surprised. So delicious! The food was incredible, freshly made and even locally sourced chocolate truffles at the end - a perfect way to end the rainy day. The views are spectacular and we will come back when we can enjoy being outside without the rain. I promise you will not be disappointed - Happy Customer all the way from Chicago!!! (P. S. Tried 3 different flavors of mojitos, the ratio of sugar to alcohol is extremely perfect so u can basically get any flavor and it tastes great. Had 2 paninis and a BLT sandwich, they are good.

I really enjoy eating at Que's. Scott makes really good drinks and the food is not like most bars. He doesn't have a grill or deep fryer so he specializes in cold and hot sandwiches. The ingredients are very fresh and not greasy. You don't feel gross from all the grease after you're done eating. He even picked fresh herbs off his window sill garden to add to the sandwich. If you’re hoping for a burger and fries, or greasy deep fried bar food, go elsewhere. Chicken, beef, pork and veggie sandwiches include fresh toppings like red peppers, artichokes, tomatoes, and a variety of cheese; and are served with chips or coleslaw. Soup is available in the “cold” months. The deck has only four intimate tables, so if your party is large you might be disappointed, but there’s additional seating inside. The bartender/owner is a friendly fellow and he keeps the place clean, including the restrooms. I’d stop by again if I was passing through town and hoping to relax by the riverside.
