My husband and I spent 1/2 a year traveling around the southwest. We had the most amazing food on our journey. When we came back to Stevens Point, we tried all the Mexican restaurants in town. Terrible experience. They wanted 10$ for a bowl of Spanish rice. I ended up just getting chips and salsa and sitting at the bar. When I asked to get them to go it literally took 9 minutes and all she brought me was a paper bag and a small plastic container with lid to dump my salsa into. It wouldn’t have been bad had the bell not been 6$! So I asked her to fill the small paper bag with chips and she said sure then put one small scoop into bag. Any other Mexican restaurant would have provided you with at least 1 full bag of chips not less than half of one!

A menu with all the classic delicous entrees, I recommend the quesabirria, enchiladas verdes, and the chimichangas are huge and fried and covered in cheese. Margaritas come in rootbeer-like mugs so they are much easier to drink from than a traditional marg glass, which lends it's design well to buy one get one free nights and enjoying drinks and foods with friends.
Friendly and kind service, and you will often commect with other patrons and make friends across the tables or enjoy a kind word with neighbors dining in, very fun and friendly atmosphere.

Yesterday I ordered their supreme burrito for $13.95 & it was not even lukewarm! The waiter said there was no way to heat it up. I took it home, scraped off the sour cream and lettuce & microwaved it. It was at least palatable then! I have always had excellent food there, but was very disappointed this time. Usually our go to place for Mexican food! Very disappointed on Monday with our order. Poblano cheese dip was very watery very little seasoning and tasted like straight sour cream, spinach enchiladas with green sauce had very little filling and maybe a tablespoon of green sauce on it all very bland. Guacamole tasted like it came from grocery store. My beef tacos had zero seasoning/salt on them. Very sad. Hope it was a glitch.

This is a cute place but the food was very slow coming out and we felt like the food didn’t have much flavor.
