Love the makeover of this restaurant. Staff is friendly and attentive. Everything we’ve ordered has been good up until this morning when I ordered the country gravy omelette. The country gravy was not good at all. Not the homemade peppery white sauce and sausage you expect. It tasted like just flour and milk and thickener with some sausage pieces added in. I scraped it off the omelette and ate it plain. I’ll come back but I won’t be ordering any country gravy until that recipe has been redone and taste tested by the chef.

This is our family's favorite restaurant in Hartford. Kid friendly and the food and service is always fantastic. We moved to town a little over a year ago, and the Red apple is the place to go! We have been there almost every week for breakfast and it’s always great food, and we love their staff. They recently remodeled and added a cafe counter. The coffee has been amazing! The new remodel is beautiful and more spacious. I’d highly recommend this place!

There for a business meeting. Restaurant was very busy. A waitress spilled some water in the floor and didn't wipe it up. We stopped another waitress and asked for a "wet floor" sign. It was the main walkway for staff and customers.

Food was excellent! Came in a timely manner and very tasty. Waitress was perfect!

We were the last to leave as the hours are 6-2 pm. We then went to finish our conversation outside at the tables in front. Very comfortable! Will be back!

My grandmother and I travel to different restaurants for breakfast every Sunday so I can speak with confidence that this is worth the visit.
Starting with the handicap accessible entrance, the newly remodeled dining area is spacious and modern looking, and comfortable leather padded booths gives a welcoming environment with upbeat music playing.
Then a friendly waitress, Kaley, took our order promptly and brought us delicious coffee. They offer French vanilla creamers which I think is important.
The food was a good portion size, delicious, and affordable. We had a farmers omelet with French toast, 2 eggs with corned beef hash, pancakes and 2 coffees for only $28.
Other important factors: the restroom had a huge handicap stall, it was comfortably warm, and the door was not heavy to open while pushing with a walker. (It could use some music playing in the restroom to really bring the experience to the next level)
I will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.

Red Apple Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Hartford, Wisconsin. My go to breakfast platter is the omelettes. Eggs always done to perfection. Red Apple Cafe is one of the best additions to Hartford within the past 8 years, the food is excellent and i'm honestly conflicted with what to get there every time because all of the options are so good.
