The fish (fried and baked) was not good nor were the potato pancakes. The tartar sauce tasted old. Asked for a drink with squirt and got sour mix. They are definitely not the same thing. Overall not a good experience and I won't be back.

The all you can eat fish fry is amazing! Your choice of fried or baked or both. Fries or potato pancakes and it all comes served family style. We go just about twice a month. The staff is awesome! Love, love, love this place!!

Geriatric facility. Fish was fried perfectly. Not much flavor, as well as the potato pancakes. It was edible. The coleslaw and apple sauce were good. I hope the elderly gentleman who fell into a chair, table, and then hit the floor was well, the next day, as he seemed more embarrassed than anything, while he was immediately helped up by the staff and seated at his table.
It appears he ate well, as G & I were just finishing our dinner when this happened in front of us.....

We had a group of 13 senior ladies for the Friday night fish fry. It's always crowded for this so the servers are very, very busy so you might wait awhile for your food or for seconds.

We used Red Barn catering for my wife’s birthday party at our house, and I couldn’t have been more pleased! Donna was great to work with start to finish. Even though they had two events running concurrently to ours, Amy was there on time and set everything up. We chose chicken and ribs for two mains, and they were amazing. I was surprised at just how good the ribs were. I have had my share of ribs, so I know! The salad was really great, along with some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve had. I highly recommend Red Barn, and honestly am relieved now that I know I have them as my caterer when upcoming parties happen. Thanks again.

Had my wedding here and it was absolutely the best, everything came together so well and we had the best of time! The ceremony setup in front of the waterfall is beautiful! The food was amazing and hot when it arrived at the tables. Donna did so well and checked in with me very often to see if I needed anything and responded back to in a promptly. This venue is the perfect spot for a Midwest summer wedding.

Very disappointed. Ruined my night actually. Came in for the fish fry and then a little karaoke. The hostess greeted us with unhappiness and a frown. While telling us there was a 1.5 hour wait, she proceeded to then take the reservation of the person behind us telling them a 30 minute wait. She ignored us like we weren't good enough. She flipped her reservation pad. We said that we were there before the family behind us and were scoffed at. Very rude. We left since nobody should be treated this way. How disappointing. I can't believe someone so grumpy works as a hostess. I won't even try to come back.

Walked in get told there is is an hour and a 1/2. Wait. Not a problem. Two seconds later, maybe 20 seconds later Another couple comes in and they get told 30 minutes for a wait,said something as the wonderful host ignored me,as i stood there. This is not the first time. Don't go here, save your money and go to bassett Creek or a place else. Way
better fish and service, better drunks at bassett and just about any place you go.

My friends got married this last weekend, and their reception was held here. As matron-of-honor, I was worried I’d have a lot to worry about.
I had NOTHING to worry about!
Donna, Cindy, and the rest of the crew were kind and helpful. When a couple of small things went wrong during setup, Donna and her crew made it right without us needing to lift a finger. Even closing up at the end of the night was easy and quick. Thank you all for making last night so special!

My husband and I had our wedding with Twin Lakes Country Club this past weekend (8/6/22). The venue is a very beautiful one. The ceremony area with a waterfall and floral backdrop is gorgeous and the pavilion for the cocktail hour and reception is perfect. My husband is a golf fanatic and I love rustic inspired weddings, so this venue was the perfect combination of the two. When we first started working with TLCC, we were working with Sarah S. She was very prompt with responses and providing us with all of the information qe needed. Somwhere along the line, Sarah left and was replaced with Donna. We were not notified of this change until months of no responses to emails sent to Sarah. Because of this change there was an issue with proper recording of our payments made, but Donna was quick to remedy that. Donna was a little bit slower to respond to emails with questions or requests, but did ultimately get us all information we were seeking. The night before our big day, Bill was available for us to drop off decor and had a very happy and lively personality. On our big day, the TLCC staff did a great job with our catering and bartending. All of the staff were congratulating us and were very friendly to us and our guests. The food was amazing!!! So many people were complimenting the pot roast that was served as well as the green beans. One thing I cared most about for our wedding was the food so I was so happy it was a hit! The only minor complaint we had was that some of the newer staff were clearing plates or utensils before guests were done with them without asking, but overall this did not ruin anyone's night. If you are looking for a venue that handles catering and bartending for a fair price, this is the place!!!

I absolutely loved having my wedding at the red barn. Everything went the way I imagined. Chad and the staff were amazing and did everything they could to make my day go perfect. The food was great and the bar tenders were awesome. All my guests told me how beautiful the venue was and how beautiful the wedding was. Thank you red barn for a great experience.

Awesome fish. I've had fish at many restaurants and Red Barn is in my top 3. Gotta try the cod. A year later, went again and got there around 5p, but got seated at 6:03 and told them we were here for almost an hour (the fish costs more after 6p). They would not honor the lower prior to 6p cost. There were at least 2 or 3 sets of folks who walked in after us, but were seated before us. From what I understand, you cannot make reservations so how did those folks get seated before us thus were able to get the lower cost. My guess is those folks are friends of the employees.

I actually had my wedding here in October 2020. With paying for the wedding by ourselves, this place was everything we wanted and and more. No minimums when it came to prices for booking. Gorgeous scenery for photos and the food is amazing. Plenty of room for dancing and sitting and relaxing. It ended up being super cold the day of our wedding but the sides they have to close as well as placing one on the front of the pavilion really kept the heat in! Sarah was helpful with sitting us down to talk about the place and different options they have for the wedding/ ceremony. They also give you a wedding planner for free who is highly qualified! Our girls name was Kylie and she was AMAZING! Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for an outdoor vendor with prices that can’t be beat!

The open atmosphere is perfect for the Covid events that we can't avoid. I went here for an after funeral gathering and there was absolutely no issue staying six feet apart because it is a large and very well kept piece of land.

The Woman's bathroom was nice and tidy.

There is lots of parking, but I think I remember there being a lot of gravel in the parking lot. If you have a wheelchair or mobility issues you should have your driver drop you off in the grass/concrete walkway area before they Park.

This property has a part-time part-time bartender that you can rent for your event. he was very pleasant and conscious of everyone's imbibing.

To give you a reference of what we wore to a funeral at this event I have included photos. This place was a little bit more casual though, still perfect for any event in my opinion.

Ask them about the one man band. he plays there often and he definitely keeps an upbeat atmosphere and listens for requests.
