This place is truly a hidden gem. Nothing else like it in the area. Great wines, great atmosphere, great food. The sausage / cheese platter is loaded with crackers, delicious cheese and sausage, and fruit. Great prices on wine by the glass, and a great selection of wine by the bottle. Our favorite food item is the Wisconsin Brat flatbread. Totally amazing. We get it every time we go. And don't miss the cute upstairs gift shop.

This was the cutest place! My mom and I were staying in the Hayward area and decided to check it out! Very cool and cute old schoolhouse! The bartender was very knowledgeable about the wine. I Ended up trying two Chardonnayβs and buying a bottle of one! My mom loved the Sangria. We sat outside on the patio and had drinks and warm bread and oil to eat. Great place to stop and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Absolutely stellar location to visit for a cold beverage! Beautiful, spacious, and shaded outdoor patio with grapevines growing up the walls. The gal manning the wine store noticed us eyeing some whiskey and wines, and immediately invited us for some impromptu tastings, and helped guide us towards some that catered specifically to our tastes. Left with a great selection, and truly felt like we had been welcomed to a second home by the very courteous and observant staff. Thank you for having such a beautiful place in Stone Lake!

It was very busy when we got there. It took a long time to order food and drinks. They are going to update their computer system and then they can have 3 different areas to order what you need.
They did have a great father son duo playing live music for everyone so that was a bonus.

Four of us had a wonderful relaxing lunch here. First time experience for two of us and we will definitely return! The outdoor patio is large and comfortable. The building interior has a unique decor. Staff are very welcoming and pleasant. The flatbreads are tasty. The salads are large-sized with fresh and tasty ingredients. They have a good wine and beer list and their Blood Marys looked awesome! It was fun to browse their wine shop and gift shop after lunch.

What a cute place to stumble across on a day trip with the family! ππ» Greeted by the sweetest woman who told me the history of the place. Cute gift shop with unique made items. Great selection of wine to purchase from all over the US! Big outdoor seating area and a full bar in the back. We did not eat or drink anything there but did purchase a cherry and blueberry moscato that was delicious and greatly priced.

Loved this place. My sisters and mom were on a day trip and stopped here to check it out . The front is beautifully done in flowers of various shades with greenery backdrop. Absolutely beautiful! Friendly staff and excellent food. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! Owner and bartender were both fabulous. Great conversation that wasn't "too much". (We are not usually the type to sit at the bar and chat, but we did because it was so fun) Great drink suggestions, and owner let us taste a few liquors. Very nice atmosphere, we will definitely be back for their weekend live music and special events and tastings!

We just love our trips to the Red Schoolhouse Wines! Incredible selection and great food as well. If you're into dark beers the darkest is Oscar's Stout. The patio is a very nice place to enjoy your wine.

Just stopped for a couple of bottles of wine. A fun Derby Day event was going on. The buffet looked good, but didn't try it. The tables were full and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I had no idea what I wanted and the clerk was extremely helpful. Prices were very reasonable. We have only tried one of the two bottles I bought and my wife really likes it.

5 stars over and over again! This place is awesome. Lots of wine to choose from, Craft beer, different whiskeys, gift shop and awesome service and conversation. Fantastic experience here! We were staying at a nearby Airbnb for my bachelorette party. We passed by this place on the drive up and knew we needed to stop in. This place is so cute. The bartender let us sample their wine mixes (who ever thought to mix wines?!) and the very delicious apple pie and cranberry combination we all had to leave with bottles of. The place is decorated so cute and the bartender also gave us great recommendations for other places to stop in.

We visited on the recommendations of others on Best of Wisconsin emails. CUTE, CUTE, classy and semi rustic place. Be careful you might miss it! Laid back and the nicest bartender!! Ordered croissant bread sandwiches ham and cheese, tiny for $10.50 but so full of flavor!! The Sangria was very tasty, hubby drank Capital Supper Club also smooth, pale and delicious. We both HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot for a lazy afternoon with someone special. There is outdoor seating. They also sell bottles of wine and whiskey to enjoy at home. Have fun and enjoy!!

Love the building, servers are friendly. An amazing selection of wine, drinks. Food is fresh and delicious. Gift shop is unique and well displayed. Our only complaint is the lack of mask enforcement of customers.( not an easy thing to enforce with some people) We appreciated staff wearing masks. Guests should wear maskes in and outdoors until they are seated. We want Schoolhouse Wines to remain open. It's our favorite place to go and bring guests in Stone Lake.
