I’m a black woman(just for reference) that’s a healthcare traveler from Atlanta Ga.
I have been to every restaurant in the area and hate the food. Sorry. But this place? ❤️!! Amazingggggg. I’ve tried about 4-5 different dishes and have no complaints. I love the variety and the consistency. This place is a God send. Excellent customer service as well! Love love love love this restaurant.

My family go here almost every friday for the fish fry. I tell every one the best fish fry ever. Look forward to going as often as i can. However today had to be the worst fish fry i have had there. Either they changed the batter or cooked it in dirty oil. Wont be back anytime soon.

We got there with a line of people. But did not know how to be put on waiting list. Found out they had no waiting list and they tried to keep everyone in order by memory. Was a small wait for just 2 people. We got our seats and everything was fast service after that.

I have eaten here many times. I always get the eggs Benedict. I used to get it with the ham but the ham was way too thick and just didn't taste right. I switched to getting it with sausage Patty's and it was a game changer! I've had the southern eggs benedict as well and that was amazing! People that I've eaten here with really enjoyed the food as well! It's definitely a small town atmosphere. Great service! Great portion sizes. Good prices!

The food was good and the waitress was amazing but the place needed a definite sweep and windex! We went on a Saturday at 2:30 pm and i just felt the whole experience would have been wonderful if the dining area didn’t have stuff all over the floor, tables clean and the entry windows wiped off.

One of our favorite family restaurants! We travel over 30 minutes away to come and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or supper here! Staff is always friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. We were far from home on a motorcycle ride and very hungry, we decided the next place we see we would eat at, and we are so happy we ended up here! The chicken and dumpling soup was the best we have ever had, even bought some to take home. Then we saw the pies as we were paying and it was too late to get any or buy any because we were on the bike. We asked about the soup and pies not knowing we were talking to the owner and we were gushing about how good the soup was and how delicious the pies looked that's when we found out he personally goes in every morning and makes them himself. I wish they were closer and not 150 miles away.

When we arrived on an early Sunday afternoon nearly every table and booth was filled. We were immediately greeted by a a smiling person and asked what we preferred for seating. We were seated within 10 minutes, served water and coffee and our order taken by a friendly staff member. Our food arrived quickly. Fresh, hot and delicious. Kudos to all the staff for their service. Overall experience was good. Tables and booths are clean. We are usually seated right away. However they could use more wait staff as you wait to be checked on after your food has arrived and usually the next time you see someone is when the check arrives. Longer hours past 3p.m. would be a plus but other than that it is a good place to eat.
