Our experience here was incredible thanks to our waitress Stanlee and server assistant Alexander. Alexander set the tone for stellar service as soon as we sat down. He was so kind and intentional with everything that he did from beginning to end. Stanlee was so warm and knowledgeable about the menu and naturally provided a luxury experience without missing a single beat. The food was great, but we would return solely because of Stanlee and Alexander. What a great duo!

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Brissago during our honeymoon, and it was easily one of the most memorable meals of our trip. From the moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, and the breathtaking views made for a perfect romantic setting.
Our server, Daniel, was exceptional. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure every detail of our meal was just right.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the pasta to the expertly cooked entrees, it was clear that the kitchen takes pride in its craft. We also indulged in the cheesecake and the gluten free dessert (the name of which escapes me), and it was the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal.
If you’re looking for a fine dining experience with stunning views, outstanding service, and exceptional food, Ristorante Brissago is the place to go. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of our honeymoon, and we’ll be reminiscing about this meal for years to come.

Everything we had was wonderful! My boyfriend and I stay every year at the grand Geneva for a weekend but we usually get room service or venture in town. This year we decided to treat ourselves and I’m so glad we did. 10/10 for everything. We had the best server, I wish I remembered her name, but she was the best. We went on a Friday night 12/13 and they were busy when we got there, but were able to get a table right at the time of our reservation. The bussing staff was excellent so kuddos on having such a great staff all around. I did not see a manager, but our server took care of us entirely so there was really no need, I would have just liked to tell management how wonderful our service really was. We will be coming back next year and we look forward to dinning with you guys again.

Started off dinner with thebucatiui carbonara which is guanicale pasta with fresh pecorino cheese and pepper in a fettucinni pecorino cheese sauce. my wife hadthe Baramundi which is Australian sea bass with the pistachio couscous with peas and crispy enoki mushrooms, and a lemon sauce. She said it was delicious and I had the.limbo do verbose which is venison in a raspberry sauce with sweet pea risotto that was fantastic. She finished dessert with a tiramisu and I had a black coffee with black Sambuca dinner fantastic and our server Tanya took very good care of us.

Came here for dinner. The view was very nice looking over the greenery that surrounds the building. Our waitress was kind and attentive with great recommendations from the menu. Try the Italian mule along with the pasta dish, Sacchetti Al Tartufo. I suggest to share that one as it does come with a very generous amount of dairy. For our mains we had the Pollo and the Bucatini Carbonara. Both dishes were very good but a bit on the salty side so that’s something to consider if you are not a big fan of saltier dishes.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered “minestrone” soup for $12. What came to me was a canned vegetable soup and watered down broth. Filet has a disgusting cheesy sauce on top and potatos are no better. Service extremely slow, uncoordinated, and they don’t seem to care. Would rather go to any cheap Italian place than this.

Overpriced and unnecessarily stuffy. Wine was extremely overpriced for what it was. $23 for a glass of Merlot. Interior of restaurant is in need of renovation. I felt like the chairs were going to break at any point, very uncomfortable seating with no booth option. 4 adults and one child = $440 bill, automatically added an $80 tip to our bill. Price just was not worth it. Would not return, instead I would opt for the cafe on the lobby level of the resort.

Food was delightful. The branzino was excellently cooked and flavored, with a nice crispy texture. The tiramisu dessert was delicious. The appropriate rating for this restaurant should be above 5 stars. My daughter said it was the best restaurant she’s ever eaten at. Even the pizza off the kids menu was brick fired and had perfect marinara. Also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the decaf Americano - a delicious Colombian blend. Comfortably situated in the Grand Geneva Resort. Heavenly experience.

Nine ladies from our Bunco group enjoyed dinner as well as the ambiance of Ristorante Brissago. Wonderful service with a helpful waiter and various servers. In order to try more dishes, I had the salad and flat bread pizza which were excellent. Several Members of our group had the scallops, sea bass, and filet. All of us were very happy with what we had for dinner and also enjoyed the various drink options including a wide wine list. Would definitely return!

It was nice to spend the evening with you and be served with such perfection and love. Our desserts for our birthdays and anniversary were so amazing with the timing and taste. Additionally my food (chicken, risotto) was above average and the flat bread with goat cheese was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Y’all should sell those flatbreads everywhere throughout the resort. My gf’s lobster pasta was a bit “heavy” with a bit too much sauce and not a ton of taste compared to other dishes. We’d be back though, just wanted to let you know :) Thanks for the great time!

My fiance and I ate here today on vacation for our babymoon. Everything was AMAZING. I had the 6oz tenderloin and my man had the milk pasta (for lack of remembering the name 😄) and cheesecake for dessert. It was the best meal I've had in a long time!!! The tenderloin was cooked to perfection 🥰 and the risotto it was on was delicious. If you're debating on coming here DO IT. You're welcome ahead of time.

Really impressed. Usually I find these kinds of restaurants overpriced and lacking flavor, but this time I was pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong...... this isn't some cheap diner. This is a perfect place for a dare night or a special occasion. We like to do a little supper clubbing, or nice dinner every few months with our neighbors/friends. One of our friends had a birthday and wanted to try Ristorante Brissago. Collectively, we had the sea bass, scallops, duck breast, and the lobster. It was all delicious, well seasoned, and perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back.

I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The calamari was drenched in oil, the sheep's cheese pasta was overwhelmingly spicy, and the lobster pasta was sickly sweet.
Overall, the dishes were not up to par and did not meet my expectations. I have had much better pasta at other restaurants, including Olive Garden. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Super impressed with the food, atmosphere, and service offered by Ristorante Brissago! From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant , to the time we left we had a wonderful experience . The table was set up so well and our server was absolutely amazing and patiently explained all the items on the menu. Located inside the Grand Geneva resort, this is a popular dining spot. Reservations are highly recommended.
The food and presentation was a 10/10! You cannot leave this place without trying the bruschetta and burrata with heirloom tomatoes. They were both fresh and refreshing. The main course was equally appetizing, scallops and halibut was cooked to perfection. Overall had a great dining experience!

Very underwhelming experience. No where near “fine dining”. Cocktails were a nice start. For Apps: We had the heirloom tomato and prosciutto bruschetta. The tomatoes were excellent, the mozzarella wet and sloppy and the prosciutto buried somewhere on soggy bread. Main dish: Ribeye was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The lemon chicken was bland, the risotto was an undercooked paste, inedible. Dessert: was previously frozen, and had a “freezer” taste to it. The food was as appetizing as a cafeteria and 4 times the price. Waitstaff was friendly and did their best, despite the obnoxious children running amuck around the place. Will not return.

I wish the signs were a little better around the property pointing to where exactly the restaurant was but after driving around for twenty minutes and three phone calls we finally found the gorgeous fountain outside. Valet parking was a breeze and the attendants where super friendly. The ambiance of the resort is breathtaking. The restaurant was fantastic. Great service and food was delicious. The only reason I docked one star was because we sat at a table that seemed shoved into a station and did not offer us the opportunity to see the surroundings and only looked at a blank wall. There was plenty of other tables at the time we where there so not sure why they put us at a table that was shoved into an uncomfortable spot in front of a door? Besides that we enjoyed our time there. Would go back but would not sit at that odd table placement. Our server was exceptional. Tatiana was wonderful and attentive.

Very great food. Small portions as to be expected in a fine dining restaurant but for an Italian restaurant I was a bit shocked. The service was terrible from the time we checked in for our reservation to the waitress & other staff. It was a special occasion for the couple joining us and I had requested a bottle of champagne chilled in a bucket of ice on the table along with 4 wine glasses and I had to request it once we sat down because it was obviously not there..I was given a very dry snooty like blank face reply when I whispered to the hostess that seated us about the champagne request ) the waitress had zero personality and treated us more like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. My final take , the food definitely pleases the pallet but the customer service definitely gets an epic fail for me.

I have mixed feelings on how to rate this. The restaurant needs to be updated. It just looks old and tacky. We were greeted by our server (I wish I could remember her name because she deserves to have 5 stars) she walked us through the whole menu with perfection. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything I would like to eat because every plate had something I didn’t like. She told me I should go with this dish (of course I can’t remember the name) it was like a Bolognese sauce with rotini pasta with meat. Sounded normal to me. My husband had the - as our waitress described it - soft pillowy pockets of pasta filled with ricotta cheese and truffles in a parmigiana sauce. Sounded normal to him. Our bread came which was FABULOUS! We got the bruschetta as an appetizer and what made it so good was the mozzarella - it tasted homemade. Super creamy and tasty. The weird tomato’s on top were not good. I never had bruschetta like that before, and don’t want it again. Then the dinners were served. My husband loved his but I thought it was kind of flavorless and the sauce was watery. My dinner? Gross. Biter. Chunky shredded meat. Mushy noodles. But oh so biter! I never ate more than a noodle and my husband tried it and spit it out. I’m Italian and I have never had “pasta” like this before, thank God! Our sweet waitress saw I wasn’t eating and I (nicely) told her how I thought it was bad and she took it back and asked what else she could get me. At that point I had lost my appetite from the bad taste. She offered me dessert and I figured even bad cheesecake has to be good so I went with that. That was cooked by the GOD’s of cheesecake! Omg never have I had cheesecake like this before! Absolute perfection!!! The crust was to die for and the cheese was so smooth and creamy! My suggestion is this place should become a Cheesecake Factory because that’s what was edible. I’ll stand with 2 starts for the excellent service and the delicious dessert!

Went to the 2017 Two million Lights Tree Lighting. Then had dinner at Brissagio. Do not dine there. Absolutely horrible service. Food portions are small and over priced. We told the restaurant when when making the reservation that we were celebrating our parents 58th wedding anniversary. They honored their anniversary by handing them a slice of cake along with the bill—-sort of felt like we were being pushed out.

My significant other and I went in for Valentine's Day dinner without reservations. We waited at the bar for our table which we were given a 45-minute wait. Very good wait time without a reservation and being Valentine's Day Feb. 2020.
The bartender (Robert) made me a great cosmopolitan. We had seen at the venue online and decided to celebrate Valentine's Day at Ristorante Brissago. To our disappointment after a half an hour wait at the bar for a table we discovered that we could not order off the menu that it was designated meal for the day. When we enquired about the price we were told it was $90 a person and it included four wine pairings( that's a very nice price BUT my partner doesn't drink. therefore we would have opted out of the wine selections). When we inquired how much they would deduct from the meal price we were advised that it would be $20 off, ridiculous. So, eight glasses of wine and they were only going to deduct $ $40 off of $180. The wine costs more than the food does. To our disappointment we opted to go downstairs and eat from the buffet 😂which was $40 a person.
Oh! Consumer beware, Their online menu is not updated. We were also advised that many of the appetizers and dishes on there are no longer available.

They charged my credit card an additional $44. We left a $45 tip and they charged us $89 for our tip. I called multiple times to resolve the issue and each time I was told my information would be forwarded to the manager and/or the accounting department and someone would get back to me. And each time NO ONE has called me back. I then have to call again and start the process all over again. You would think they would be apologetic and offer something for their obvious mistake and instead they keep giving me the run around.

If it could be negative stars I would. Took 1 hour to get our bread. And that was when we had to ask for it the third time when our appetizer came, 55 min after we were there. Took 20 minutes for someone to greet us at our table. The pasta entre was a blob of overcooked dough. My sons pasta kids meal was much better. We also told them it was for a birthday and no acknowledgement. We will not return.

The whole experience was horrible. Me and my boyfriend wanted to go to a nice Italian restaurant for our 2 year anniversary and was the worst. The only pastas they have are under the small plates. The place is way overpriced. I ordered the Cesar salad and couldn’t even eat it because all the lettuce was brown I has our waitress take it because I couldn’t even eat it. Then our pastas came and i got three tiny ravioli it literally took us two minutes to eat it. Then our waitress brought a chocolate tarte out and there was a long black hair in it. I didn’t say anything because to be honest I was so over it. We will never be back and will tell people never to go.

I will never go back to this restaurant. I ordered one glass of wine and a Caesar salad because I didn’t want to spend too much money. I asked if they could put some grilled chicken on the salad and the server said yes but it will be the chicken with the bone in it and I said that was ok. I get the bill and the server charged me my $9 salad plus $17 for a piece of chicken and all she said was “sorry that’s what we do here”. There were five people in our party for dinner. We each ordered a different entree and shared. Everything was excellent !! Our waitress Tatiana was also very knowledgeable and very professional. The olive oil, bread, entree's and the desert. Hats off to a nicely run restaurant and great food.

My husband and I really enjoy this establishment. Service is friendly, classy, and attentive (not loud or disruptive like you find at lots of other restaurants).
The food is outstanding. Forget everything you thought you knew about octopus, lobster, or pasta- everyone else has been doing you wrong all your life.
I have to leave the table for some time to take care of some matters, and they kept my food fresh and reheated it for me when I returned.

Decent Italian restaurant that says they make their own pastas. I guess we were kind of expecting more given how great the steakhouse in the Grand Geneva is, but the room is nice an intimate and if you go at the right time there aren't too many kids. It took awhile for our mains to come out, but the server was friendly and the food was great and since we were staying at the resort, we really were not in any rush.

Never again. We tried to visit thus place for family dinner. Even with reservation we had to wait 15min to have our table ready. Another waiting was to get a drinks 15-20min......food ??? 1 hour and 40minutes. Why they have a kids menu when their kids meatballs are spicy and kids couldn't eat them. Rizoto (or what ever they call that) looks like a rice pudding, half chicken doesn't really means half chicken (it's one leg actually) . Food is average, small portions and way, way over priced....... like I said at beginning..... never again.

Update: the menu has been changed, but it is still the same amazing quality! This time around our server was good, making it a perfect experience. Staff was as good as you can get in America, so still a bit rehearsed and rushed, but very good non the less!
Original: The food was amazing, even by european standards. The kitchen deseves six stars! But the service was horrible, mainly due to a server called rex. Full of excuses and talk, but didn't listen and just repeated the same sentences at every table. He ruined any chance of a memorable dinner. There was a good 3 course kids menu that went down a treat and the location and quality of food is worth the price tag for sure. But just get more competent and actually friendly staff, the fake friendly followed by ignore everything is unacceptable...

Went on a Thursday night, it wasn't too busy so we were able to be seated right away, but I would recommend reservations if you are wanting to go to dinner on a weekend. This is not the typical family style Italian restaurant--it is located within the Grand Geneva Resort, and is located on the second floor, just above the reservation desk. I would describe it as a modern, urban style of fine dining, despite the fact that it's located far from any urban center. Entrees were from $20 to $40 each. Not a place to bring the kiddies. They had a very nice all-Italian wine list that was very comprehensive.
The serving staff was THE BEST I've ever encountered in the midwest in recent years, not even a close second. Everyone was very professional and very friendly.
We were given a complimentary plate of bread, and a saucer of vinegar and oil, which was a delicious way to start off the evening.
For our main course, I had the veal shank--Osso Buco alla Milanese--which was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. The veal was so tender I could literally cut it with my fork, and the saffron risotto was just superb. My wife had the shrimp scampi--Gambero--and ate everything on her plate, which is rare for her. She loved it!
For desert, we were given a complementary chocolate mousse and raspberry cake that was quite yummy. It was complementary due to it being our anniversary.
If you are a foodie, you need to visit this place. Again, not a place to bring the kids, best for couples and all-adult parties who can truly and enjoy fine dining. I give it my highest recommendation. The best dining experience I've ever had in the state of Wisconsin.
