What a diamond in the rough, we were looking for a place close that was serving food and we gave them a shot.
Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had, and the sweet potato fries were amazing.

06/18/25 We were there on a Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. It was pretty quiet. There was not a lot of business at the time. We had one of the Wednesday wing specials for $10. Didn't realize that it did not come with breading or batter on them. We also had the shrimp dinner for $12. The food was good and the waitress / bartender was very polite, her name was Bobbi Jo.
There's also a place that you can sit outside and enjoy the weather and look out at the water. Apparently, the place is for sale, there was a realtor sign outside.

Holy cow the shots were extremely generous pours! Amazing.
We had the nachos which were exceptionally satisfying considering we just needed some basic food, but it was nothing special.

Used to be really good and our go to place for friday night fish. Food has been very bad lately. Shrimp overcooked and fish either under or overcooked. Service not the best either. When we said our food was bad they said they would fix it and it was still bad. We were also charged for our full meal. Would not recommend.

Quaint little place. Doesn't have enough staff to provide for the people that are there. Waited to be waited on more than 10 minutes. Also had to go up and pay for the bill. The waitress should have bring the bill back when we ask for boxes to take our food home. Actually had to go up to the bar to get our bill. Also experienced...sour cream was spoiled in the packets and when I explained it to the waitress. She only offered me another packet while I already had it on my potato... never offered me a new potato. Probably wouldn't be back here again was not impressed.

Nice view of the river from many of the tables and the bar. Server was not fast, but was very friendly and accommodating. Wings were good and nachos were a generous size. Fun decor on the walls and friendly patrons. Good selection of drinks and a variety of food choices.

Great food, service is great, good place to eat but watch your bill. I noticed that I was charged a credit card fee almost 10%. I paid cash, and some other tax besides the normal sales tax. I don't understand, I always tip good. To bad I will probably not eat here again.

It’s a fun spot by the water, and the best quick spot around Buffalo City. Their burger was good, but the chicken sandwich was a very thin slice that was probably frozen. If you want a burger and a beer, talk to some friends, and look at the river, this is your spot. If you want a really fancy meal, you may need to head to Alma.

Great food, great service! Good place to refuel after a round or two of golf at The Grove. Full bar when we arrived, yet we were waited on upon sitting. Nice selection of beer. Husband & FIL said the best Phillywhich they've had. Mom had the ham & cheese on sourdough and was happy too. Thanks Julie for the great service! We'll be back!

Sat by kitchen doors and watched an employee scoop fruit out of cans into plastic cups with her bare hands. Our table was told that we could not order breakfast even though the table next to us had just ordered breakfast. When we brought it up, the waitress reluctantly allowed us to order breakfast with an attitude. We waited an hour and 25 minutes for our food to come out and when it did two of the orders were cold not even warm. After an hour we asked if they knew how long it was going to be until the food came out in which the waitress replied I don't know she's working on it and has been since you put your order in so ya their working on it. Not once in 2 hours were we asked if we needed a refill. Staff was unfriendly to put it nicely. In a small town that has many visitors you would think that the staff would at least do the bare minimum, not in this case and not at this establishment.

Ordered fish fry, and when it was brought to my table they let me know they were out of tartar sauce. Not the biggest deal, but I would've ordered broiled if I had known that.
Went there for breakfast the next day, and the food was pretty good. However, it was not worth the hour and 15 minutes it took to get it. I get that you're a little short staffed, but taking almost an hour and a half to get us eggs and pancakes is insane.

I don't know what to rate Ratz. I like Thom (the owner). I've always gotten along with him well enough. My breakfast was good when I finally got it. It took almost an hour and a half to get our food and when we did, the waitress didn't ring it in right at all and part of one of our meals was completely missing and never showed up. I had a view of the kitchen this whole time. The cook was the slowest moving cook I'd ever seen in my life! I've been around the food industry most of my life too. So Thom has really put a LOT of work into fixing the place up, it looks great, but man I hope he can get some better employees soon.

I ordered a Spizy Razberry Wrap. It was delicious. They use a spring mix instead of iceberg lettuce. The dressing was amazing. It was so good I ate it before I thought to take a picture. My husband and dad got burgers and they said their burgers were good. The bartender/ waitress working was very kind, patient, and actually talked to my kids to let them know what was okay for them to play with/ do.

Nice clean low key Grill on the River in a quiet town , good food and great prices ... I'm gonna be back again , first time a young kid had an Alligator Gar fingerling in a plastic water bottle ... Looked just like a big one except it was maybe an inch long ... A group of funny local ladies were chatty , so it was good .
