Brought the kids to do some evening bowling for the 1st time. Was disappointed when we were told by the bartender that it was "league night" so we couldn't bowl. Were then advised that we could use their "game room." Didn't want the night to be a complete let down for the kids so we decided to check it out. Upon entering we were met with glares & stares by 5 customers playing darts. The kids didn't notice but we certainly did and immediately felt extremely uncomfortable. The kids played a couple of the overpriced games ($1 or higher for everything) air hockey, arcade games, claw games etc. After 5 minutes or so, we heard one of the guests playing darts say loudly "I hate when F'n families come here." They then decided to start playing music on the jukebox (much louder then necessary) full of profanities and language no child should have to hear. This was the final straw. We gathered up our heartbroken children and immediately left. On the way out we heard "Good, it worked!" To top it off we looked inside at the bowling lanes and there were several lanes not being used after all the players had arrived for the evening. Incredibly disappointed in our experience at this business. They apparently only cater to regulars and most certainly let you know that you're not welcome if you aren't one. Not kid friendly whatsoever. Will never come back.

Great bowling and game joint. Plenty of bowling lanes, several dart boards and an entire game room for the kids and adults. Lots of slot games too! Full bar and Angry Minnow on tap. Fried app and pizza for food. Awesome deal on Monday night with free darts and pool and half-priced bowling!!!!

We have lived in Hayward almost 3 years now and only driven by the bowling alley. Today we stopped in. We were told the new owner has made improvements. There is a game room with pool table and arcade games. Bar area is nice size with about 10 stools. Several TV's. Menu looked like appetizers, burgers, frozen pizzas. Full bar. Lanes were busy with senior league. It was very clean and comfortable and we will stop back.

The food was fine, the bowling was good, but I did not appreciate being forced to walk through the game room to get into the bowling alley. Not great! Edit: I will say that the game room was fun but because my kids saw it they were not interested in bowling at all which is what the main activity of the birthday party we were at was.

Very unpleasant time. Owner was very rude to me and my family and I was shocked to see absolutely no soap in the men’s bathroom. Would not recommend this place for your family or anyone. As a visitor to Hayward I was disappointed in my experience here.

Seems like this Karri Olinger, was clearly mistaken when she made her rude and unkind comment about Riverside Lane’s. We’ve been bringing our foster children here for years. Keith is friendly, attentive and very much about providing a fun family atmosphere. The food is great and the prices are the same if not better than some of the other businesses in the area. His prices are clearly posted, so you should have some idea of what you’re bill will be. We’re there every week. Come join us.

Bowling experience and ambiance of the 80's environment were a big plus for my family and I. Prices range depending on time of day so your best bet is to bowl after 6 pm. Games last about 15 min and the average game costs $4 so big parties should be aware of the price tag.

Love it, Saturday mornings from September through March they have youth bowling league for school-aged children which is extremely fun my son has been involved in it for years now. Also weeknights they have regular League bowling for adults and they have open bowling and glow bowling they also do fundraisers they have a full bar a game room and serve food they also have multiple TVs in the bar for watching any game you want it is fun for the whole family. It can be reserved for birthday parties fundraisers or even the game room can be turned into a banquet room there's been birthday parties weddings anniversaries and probably even retirement parties held there the phone number is 715-634-BOWL!!

Extremely rude just stopped in and yes saw the sign no shoes but seeing people with tennis shoes on.I was so extremely embarrassed when the man was so rude to my daughter and myself I apologized and tried to explain what I saw but said with more rudeness that's why we have a sign you lost my business.
