Been hearing about this place for years, for how great my friend spoke of it for how picky he is I was expecting way more. The pizza is mediocre at best, the sauce just taste like tomatoes and the crust gives most of the flavor which isn't much honestly. The best pan style pizza in my opinion as far as chain restaurants go. Pricing is not too bad either. Sure you can go to smaller establishments and get different/better/worse pan pizza but Rocky's always keeps it real. Same reliable pan pizza. The building has been here forever so it's a bit outdated and needs some renovations. Salad bar is clean and fresh but small. The staff was exceptional, very courteous and respectful. They seemed happy to be there which was refreshing.

Love Rocky’s but most locations are tiny little restaurants. This is a nice sit down restaurant with a drive through . . & they have the Garden of Eatin’ slice which most other locations either don’t have, or they tell me it will take 15-20 minutes to make which is hard to do while traveling. Rocky's definitely is not what it used to be. The prices are high compared to other places. The food was horrible. I had to send my breadsticks back twice and my pizza back, just to get the same stuff that was sitting under the heat lamp all day. After complaining twice, the manager finally came out and apologized but offered no solution or a refund. Needless to say I will never eat at Rocky rococo's again!

This review has had a long time coming. 3 years ago I used to work just down the street and would stop in at Rocky for lunch 2 or 3 times a week. The manager at the time quickly got to know me, my order, and the way I like it.
That same person now runs the whole joint! And although I no longer work down the road, and come in much less often. She still knows me, and my order, and the way I like it!
The store is clean, the food is great, the service is great. You'd be hard pressed to find another person as dedicated to her store and her customers as Tia. It's worth making the trip!

Well, we called in our order 1.5 hours ahead of time to have a specific pick at 545 pm. When arrived at the drive thru we got a please wait. 10 mins later no response, we drove up to the window waited another 2-3 mins and found out our pizza wasn’t ready…. She said 10-15 more mins…. Well we now we’re late to our plans and no dinner. I asked for a refund and the manager needed to call her General Manager for help. Quiet during the Packers game today. We stopped after grabbing a few things at Sam's Club. We ordered a pizza and drinks. The manager took our order and served us. Took 5+ minutes to order through the drive-thru. Ordered 2 #4 meals and a children's pepperoni meal. Needed to repeat the order 4 times, when being repeated back to us, 3 out of the 4 times it was incorrect. Needed to wait for the pepperoni, which wasn't an issue. Good gracious, I love Rocky Rococo. Everytime I come to Wisconsin, I seek it out. However, my experience at the Rib Mtn location today was mixed.

The service was awesome - the team was very attentive to their customers and made sure I had everything I needed.

The breadsticks were the best I'd had at a Rocky's in recent memory. Hot, buttery and utterly delicious.

My pizza was not as great - not as hot as I'd expect, just this side of lukewarm, and it was lacking in the cheese department, which is never something I encounter at other locations. It was still good, but not as good as I expected.

I concur with the other reviewers who noted the cleaning solution odor in this location. It really was incredibly strong and distracting. I was breathing through my mouth while eating. And when I left, I could still taste the cleaning solution odor in the back of my mouth for at least 15 minutes. It was strong and off-putting. The restaurant was otherwise clean and well-kept. But that smell...I will not return to this location the next time I'm in Wausau, at least not for dine in. Thank goodness there's a drive thru.

I placed an order online, which went smoothly. pick up time was 6:37, but I didn't receive my order of 2 pizza slices until 7:10.

Wanted to treat my store to some pizza for a birthday and to celebrate my last day helping them so I ordered a meatworks and a The works deluxe on white (also available in wheat). the owner herself was very friendly and had a nice lovely chat with her and the food was amazing my entire team was really impressed and a lot of them was their first time having it and definitely going to be a team favorite for future treats. First time at Rocky Rococo, will be my last. The woman working, Shannon, was absolutely horrible. How she is still employed after treating customers the way she treated my family and I is beyond me. Never had such pour, rude service. I asked what was all on a pizza, she said hello, there's a sign. Then I asked about getting a pizza without mushrooms, and as she rolled her eyes, she says ummm no, we can't do that, in q very rude tone and attitude. When I asked for our drinks she rolled her eyes and said ummm no, you have to wait because so many people forget to come get their food, and after the 20th time it's soooo annoying. I definitely won't be back.
