We had my mom's favorite dish. Fried chicken mashed potatoes, green beans, collard greens, garlic bread and more catered in to Copper Hall for a 90 birthday party of 50. There was so much left over we all took some home.
The food was superb!!!! Rodney catered and served the whole deal!!!! Amazing and so well worth the price. I could go on. Just go ahead and use Rodney or eat there. Fantastic.

Rodney catered our wedding reception of about 50 people! He was excellent from the moment he walked in, set up everything swiftly, complimented how nice everyone looked and then was on his way! His fried chicken is THE BEST, everything tasted amazing and we got so many compliments from our guests! We highly recommend Rodney for anyones catering needs! He shows up with a big smile and we even had tons of food leftover! :) Thank you, Rodney!!

BEST FRIED CHICKEN AND MASHED POTATOES EVER! Our wedding party enjoyed this during our rehearsal dinner and our wedding guests loved the late night snack of a mashed potato bar. Rodney is extremely friendly and went above and beyond to provide TONS of food. Food was excellent, and Rodney’s prices are unbeatable!

Rodney catered the K-9 Agility trial at the Oshkosh Kennel club. Great breakfasts and a special treat on Sunday, fried chicken biscuits and gravey. Rodney is such a nice guy and does such a great job with these events.

Stopped in Sunday 6-4 at 4:00 and the restaurant was closed, completely dark. I didn’t see posted hours on the door. Not sure if temporarily closed or if the hours are different than those listed on google. M-F hours are listed on their facebook page with a message about using the cafe for community outreach. The website off of their facebook is no longer registered.

We had Rodney cater a golf outing we had at westhaven gc not only was the food reasonable and delicious, he and his helper were charming,fun, and worked quickly to serve a hungry bunch of women, I will definitely hunt him down for our next outing and I will be visiting him at his place, it was fun Rodney!!

Love his food, personality is great, fun playing Bingo, but should have more prizes so everyone has a chance to win at least one prize.Or play so everyone gets a descent prize don't care where you have to win (2) bingos.Otherwise, it doesn't pay to bring a cab out there every Saturday. Some people were taking more than their share of soda.Learn to share with others. Maybe put outsnacks like chips and dip on tables, sausage, cheese, and crackers, fruit for each table. Chef salads would be great to have,sub sandwiches different kinds,pickles when you have burgers. Have appitizers, string cheese, herring.Just giving some of my suggestions. Rodney's Cafe is a great place to stop for a bite. The food is excellent and the service is great.

Rodney has a southern flare in his cooking style, featuring notes from the Carolina and Tennessee areas. Give him a chance and he will give you suggestions on what to eat.

Take a few minutes to read Rodney's Mission statement on the wall. Yes it is a long Mission statement but worth the read.

The restaurant itself is a little rough, but appears to be clean.

I recommend Rodney's for catering too. He has a full food truck and is know in the area.

To be frank Rodney’s Waffle stands in the righteous spotlight of superiority casting a shadow of unworthiness on all other wound be “W-awfuls”. Rodney’s is one of those quintessential cafes that you reference as an archetypal model in your mind’s eye when you envision going out to eat. It’s the type of place that you find your self rambling on about to strangers as you swap stories about some of the great grub spots you’ve stumbled on over the years. Cafe’s of this caliber are a rare breed. It truly is a tiny treasure tucked away on a non conspicuous residential side street. Hidden like a pearl hidden in a in auspicious oyster, it waits as a just reward for those that quest for quality dining experiences. The genuineness of it’s warm, welcoming, humble, and familiar atmosphere takes on is amplified in an alchemical reaction as your taste buds savor the home cooked realness of the food. It took us four months to discover this place, and now all the other bland, hum-drum, un inspired, greasy attempts at breakfast were worth it. I’m am looking forward to sinking my teeth into the North Carolina pulled pork sandwich!

This is the best little restaurant you will find in Oshkosh. The food is outstanding like the people that work there.I have got the pulled pork sandwich and french dip and they are the best I have ever had. Seriously go check this place out, its a great place to either sit down or get something to go. His catering service is amazing as well, book him for your next work outing or family party.
