Edit: Yes!!!! After 5 long years Rosies has reopened with a new building in the same location. Love this place. Food is just as wonderful. Your favorites dishes are still there. Staff working hard to feed and serve us all. It has been very busy because the community is excited to have Rosies back. So please be patient and we can all enjoy their return. New take-out window. Rosie's dinenis style restraunt with lots of regulars witch says a lot. The food is good and they have wide menu selection. They are both breakfast and lunch. They have four traditional diner food and many Mexican dishes. Due to a fire that had several years ago they had to rebuild the restaurant the expanded by connecting to the building next door. As you can see from the pictures on the place looks very pleasant, modern but still the diner looking and feel.

Their burgers are absolutely delicious. I've been to every burger joint in racine and kenosha and most in Milwaukee. Rosie's burgers are slept on. They get their meat every morning and hand pattie them.

I had breakfast at Rosie’s today. It was my first visit to the restaurant. A waitress with dyed hair kept walking past my table, but clearly didn’t want to serve me. She had to be directed to bring me a cup of coffee, spilling it on the table, and not cleaning it up! I wiped it with a napkin. She never returned to take my order! There were about 5 waitresses walking around, and after about 15 minutes, one came to take my order. My experience is that you’re not going to get good service here if you’re Black. You can tell! It’s best to do take out, but don’t eat in this restaurant! It’s unfortunate, because the food is pretty good!
I observed several completed meals on the shelf, waiting to go to diners, that I’m sure we’re cold by the time they were picked up by a waitress. Dyed hair waitress was wandering around doing nothing, with those meals getting cold! Looked bad!

Service was good & fast. We picked up our order in 15 mins. The food was still hot and fresh by the time we got home. It's delicious! We got a Denver omelette meal and 2 country fried steak breakfasts (country fried steak, eggs cooked to choice, toast, hashbrowns) all perfectly cooked & flavorful. The service was great too. very fast, kind, also can't beat the prices. You can see into the kitchen from the pick up window and everyone looks happy to work there & the kitchen is clean and well kept. Will definitely be coming back!

Food was very fresh and seasoned well. That coffee was soothing to my soul and so very delish! Nice price and portion size. You could feed your entire family and won’t go broke. Very clean. First time coming back since they re-open was a bit confusing because there was no sign outside so if this is your first time coming here you might have a hard time finding the place. The greeter was rude & then she just ended up telling us to find a place to sit. The tables and chairs was very rusted down and unstable. This place is also not kid friendly (no high chairs). The wait is always long, so make sure you had a snack before coming here. The food was bland and very disappointing. We had the porkchop breakfast. The porkchops was so hard, overcooked, & unseasoned. The potatoes was so bland. The only thing good was the toast. Won't be back and don't recommend if your looking for a good breakfast.

Rosies was opened just 5 days after a complete rebuild from a fire five years ago. There were plenty of waitresses and people coming and going throughout the morning. Food is AWESOME. Prices are very reasonable... arguably best bang for you buck in town. Staff is very friendly, but service could be better. They are doing a Free Thanksgiving meal and open donations for winter clothes this year for all who go without. They also support local high school teams and the Racine Police Department with financial donations.... very community friendly. The building has been a restaurant for over 50years and has become a staple in Racine's history. Highly recommended
