We tried the 777 credits / $120 gameplay card (comes with 2 free cups). Most of the claw games are 14 credits with a few for smaller / medium plush at 11 credits. It's about 55-65 tries. We just played regular claw machine games, no Japanese ones. Tried to get the pacman plush and ghosts total around 10x and even with good grabs the yellow disc would fall out so we didn't get those. I wish they let you win more often. At the last location I went to, I had 3 wins with 300 credits. Here with 777 credits we got 3 prizes. They were all directly grabbing the plush games (not grabbing the yellow disc).
The food was ok, we tried the ramen and a chicken karaage around 2:30 pm on a Friday when we were not sure if the food court was open normally. The ramen was a bit cold, the chicken karaage was good.

Round 1 was a fantastic place to host a birthday party! There was so much for my guests to do, from games to activities, and everyone had a great time. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the day. I highly recommend Round 1 for a fun weekend outing or for celebrating a big event—it’s the perfect spot to make lasting memories!

Round 1 in Greendale is such a fun spot! They’ve got everything in one place – bowling, arcade games, billiards, darts, and even karaoke. The vibe is always lively but not overwhelming, and it’s clean and well-kept.
The staff is friendly and quick to help if you need anything, and the selection of arcade games is top-notch with a good mix of classics and the latest machines. Bowling lanes are smooth, and it’s easy to spend hours here without getting bored.
Perfect for a night out with friends, family fun, or even a date night. Food and drinks are solid too, which makes it even better. Definitely one of the best spots around for entertainment – highly recommend!

Despite the odd pricing, for me it’s a perfect place to bring along friends for a night of bowling or pool or karaoke, or just stop by for a drink and play some games. Nothings perfect, I admit that sometimes there could be some issues with things not working or employee attitudes, but that’s what’s part of making the experience more down to earth and memorable. It doesn’t have to be some whimsical wonderland, it’s just enough for a good time and memories.

My kids always have a blast when they go, if there is ever an issue with the machines the staff take care of you right away and comp you in needed. Love the variety of games they have there too. We have bowled there once and we enjoyed ourselves had no issues. Management is awesome too.

Great place to hang out with friends and family. There is lots to do here. You can play the claw or crane games for plushies, play games for tickets to redeem prizes at the redemption area, play the arcade games, bowling, pool, and rent a room for karaoke. There's also an eating and drinking area with lots of tv's to watch the latest sports. It's also connected to Southridge Mall so you can take a break and walk through the mall. They also open late but young children will need to be accompanied by an adult. I'm taking 1 star off because sometimes the kitchen was not open when we went there.

It's expensive...but WOW, that is a very very fancy arcade. If you have very picky kids, or claw machine obsessed little ones, then this is the place to go. It was 120 for two kids to go wild on the claw machines for an hour, then we left. There is food, a bar, pool tables and a kid's zone. So if you got money to burn and hate your family, this is a good place to take them.🤣

Neat spot to bring the family for a game night!
I like how they have an option to play certain games (ones that do not dispense tickets or prizes) for $8-10/ hour.
The place was clean and most of the games I played seemed to be I. Fair condition.
I recommend the Halo game near the front of the store.
I’d come back again!

***check you prizes in front of the staff after a win, especially figures***
I won 4 figures and like always opened them at home. 1 of them was broken! Called the store and was told I couldn't exchange it because they couldn't tell if I broke it or if it came that way. After arguing with the employee I asked for a manager. The manager told me the same thing. I asked where it stated that I had to check the prizes in the store? I asked him (Justin) to speak with his manager, turned out she was the GM, as he was extremely rude to me. He told me she was busy. I asked probably 10 times to speak with her, he told me she was going to say the same thing. I spoke with her, can't remember her name but she let me exchange the figure. Shout out to the GM and Tyler for the excellent customer service I did receive, the only reason I gave 2 stars! 1 star for each of them. Sorry Justin and the first employee you cost Round 1, 3 stars!

Wow! Can't say enough about round 1 over at southridge. Always clean. Usually not too crowded. Beer prices are a bit high but it's not as bad as Dave and busters. Plus they actually have machines that are worth playing. The driving games are in pretty good repair. They even have initial d machines that can accept cards. One of the technicians (Jorge) Went through a to bunch of extra effort to get one of the machines working when it was having problems. I've been back about 6 times now and it s great was to spend an hour playing some great games. They even have an unlimited play by the hour setup if you just want to sit and play through a story line.
Overall 5 out of 5.
This place is great.
Thanks for making my initial d dreams come true

I come here to play games with friends and for the rhythm games. I jumped at the unlimited play-time deal when I first noticed it because I don't need to be spending money on rhythm games that don't give me any points to begin with, I just for the experience. But now they are no longer considered green swipes. The staff when I walked in, poor attitude. The staff when I asked for assistance with my card just told me i'm out of luck and that they had changed that policy and couldn't void the unlimited session so I could reload it with points and play. I am extremely unsatisfied that I couldn't be offered a refund for the 0 games I played and no compensation for the fact that I would have to wait an hour to play 75% of the games there because my card will be rejected until the session expires.
The place has always been insanely dirty and poorly run, but I looked passed it every time. Even when the bathrooms have literal feces and urine on the floor, or when only one of the girl's restroom stalls has a singular roll of toilet paper— I swear i'm anything far from picky, I will make do. But this was 100% poor service with no assistance to fix their error.
Will be contacting HR and will not be receiving my business anymore.

This place is expensive, and the settings are set to hard to get. It cost about $2.75 to $3 for one play. The payout is little too none. The attendent walks around all the time, opens the cages, and puts all the toys back to the center if it was shifted by the previous player. So when a toy has fallen to a good position to grab or is about to win. He'll move it basically resetting the game, making it hard to get. I followed him and watched him do it. Will definitely not go back. Don't waste your money.

Time to take the $200 $300 a Month I've been Spending here elsewhere. Round one is decided to double yes double the cost of the majority of their bigger prices and I don't know maybe the smaller ones. 250000 tickets to get a PlayStation 5 would take somebody years of spending a lot of money.

ZERO! Zero stars. Last week was 80000 tickets for the Xbox, I've been coming in because it was fun and stress relieving, and finally over the last month I found something to build towards, and the day I finally have enough tickets I find out they just raised their prices on everything. I'm not spending another penny here. 4 damn years down the drain and now I don't want a single thing from you. Take your tickets and shove them where it hurts most because that is literally the worst I've felt in so long.

All around a decent arcade selection, but the establishment made a truly heinous error during my visit.
I had won a prize from the claw machines and later was approached by their hired security and accused of stealing this prize. I don't know how they made this mistake as I had a pretty conspicuous outfit on and don't think I would be reasonably mistaken for anyone else, but whatever. They had me surrounded by security folks and insisted that I needed to return my prize and leave.
Most of the people surrounding me didn't have Round 1 shirts on either so I was really sketched out by the situation. They refused to cooperate with reviewing the security footage again, allowing me to ask someone else to help investigate, or hear me out when I recounted the fact that I won the prize fairly and properly. I'm lucky I had a group of friends there to back up my story.
At some point, (seemingly randomly from my perspective), they switched up and apologized for their mistake and offered to compensate me for the trouble. I didn't ask for much compensation because I really felt uncomfortable remaining there any longer.
I'm glad everything got sorted out and they apologized and offered compensation, but I can't stress enough that this experience was genuinely *emotionally distressing*. I rarely leave reviews on Google, but I feel the responsibility to put a mark on this place so that they feel the pressure to examine the disaster that was my experience, and take a good long look at their processes to fix themselves up so something like this never happens again.
Good selection of arcade games. Do better management. Don't harass me with rent-a-cops

This place is all about the money, so be ready to spend a lot. Some claw machines are glitchy and feel rigged. When you ask for help, they act like you’re trying to get a free swipe. The manager is unprofessional and inconsiderate just a straight up jerk. They also really need to hire better staff who know how to assist instead of making assumptions. The store also has limited items. They focus on the young crowd but should really pay attention to the environment smelling like marijuana it’s the first thing you notice when you walk in, and it’s gross. Those are affecting the atmosphere

Quality has gone down and prices went up.
People are bringing their kids (like ages 4-7) at 1am on Saturday. A kid walked by and took our card while we were playing a game and we asked the staff to check the cameras.
There exact response was "Only corporate can check the cameras and they are in Japan"
So you better hope nothing happens and no one leaves their kids unattended, since you have next to no hope if some grabs them. No security at all since the bar reopened
Lots of fighting game machines were taken out including the Tekken Machines and DBZ fighters

We reserved the Gamer Gold package for my child's birthday on a Tuesday to avoid the busy weekends. Arrived at our specified time, unfortunately, there wasn't anything set up and prepared for our party. We waited 20 min for them to check us in, load our cards (for 8 people), and they asked for the color of the table covers three times after telling them 2 times on phone ahead of time per their follow up phone calls with Nick, and then again when we arrived. There seem to be a communication gap between their team. In addition, we left our jackets at our seat with pizza on our plates and pan, drinks in our pitchers and cups, came back after playing a few games to find our table empty and everything thrown out. We confronted them that we were not finished. The worker apologized and said they thought we were done and left. We stated clearly that our jackets are still here on the seats. We informed the manager Alex how disappointed we were after paying over $300 for the package to receive this service, and pointed out his three workers, including Shannon who tossed our food, who were all standing behind the counters conversing. After addressing it with Alex, we observed to see his actions and what he would do to resolve and rectify the situation. Unfortunately, for the remainder of night, nothing was done. We did stay for a little bit because the children were enjoying the games, which sadly are also very pricey. Small claw machines were 9 points, and larger ones 14 points. The night was slow, not many customers at all, but we were definitely not being served as valued guests, especially as birthday guests. Round1 is a good environment overall, with the music and games, but we would not recommend it if you are looking for something special for your event. It is a place where you can go, load your own cards, play games, and enjoy your own time. Do not expect much from the service side. We really wanted to enjoy it, and had high expectations for Round1. Extremely disappointing, and would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

Would be zero stars if was option. Came with a 3yo and 4yo. Got through 2 frames before "lane assistant" came up and said if 3yo does not put shoes on they will close the lane (3yo was not even playing but walked on to the floor). When we entered there was no lane assistant out on the floor until we say down (4 or 5 lanes were occupied). The assistant stood behind us the whole time. No other lanes being monitored. When I asked for a refund they refund. Manager was no help. And at the end employee called my wife the b word. Will neve go again. Be warned with small children.

Decent prices for the unlimited play games and bowling packages. Sadly lacking in vegetarian options, I was really hoping their Japanese menu would have a few non-meat choices. A few of the games that require regular money and dispense tokens/cards/chips (gachas and coin pushers) were already switched out since my last visit so I have a bunch of useless cards and bricks now. I'll probably stick to unlimited pinball/rhythm/racing games next time.

Everything was good except for the bar. The guy running it did not want to serve anyone and acted like I was bothering him by asking for a beer. I thought the bar was closed at 9 PM with how he was closing everything up and ignoring people. They didn't have any pint glasses apparently so I was going to ask for a smaller pour but I was told to "step aside" when I had already told him exactly what I wanted. He couldn't even tell me how many ounces the tall glass was. I just walked away because I didn't want to deal with his rude attitude anymore. I saw many other people walking away or being refused service as well. If they don't want to serve people at the bar then they should put up a sign.

Way better deals at Dave and Busters. They do not honor the pricing they have advertised. Went to the bar for a drink and was told "The menu prices do not reflect what the actual price is" Paid $8.50 for a can of seltzer. The employee was working both the food counter and the bar. This man has obviously never poured a drink in his life. He poured my can of seltzer into a pint glass that had lip stick stains all over it. I don't even know why he poured it in a glass. Was easy to find and parking was good. They ID you so make sure you have that. An abundance of different games to play - a LOT of rhythm games, probably the most ive seen in one place. They also sell food and beverages, including alcohol that you can drink while you play. Didn't have time to try the bowling but will definitely be giving it a go next time. Prices were a little high in my opinion but you still get hours of play for 35$. I ended up getting 50$ worth of credits that's loaded onto a card and got a limited time lanyard which I thought was cool! Definitely recommend checking it out : )

Today was my first time ever at round one, the free gift with purchase advertised was not available. They said they don’t have any gift no matter what ammount I spend unless I want to buy a figure for an extra $30 (I did not). Got the membership card and spent $150+.
I spent a most of the money on one claw game with a large chainsaw man plush I really wanted to win, only to have a worker tell me after nearly spending all my credits, resetting it a few times, and trying about 5-6 plays themselves, that it doesn’t have enough strength to win and I should move along, nothing they can do but they will let management know in the future. Heart breaking for a first experience to find out it was potentially un-winnable and walk away from it with nothing.
I won a couple of small plushies from other machines, the mini claws near the desk. Coin pusher games were fun but the slot to cash in cards seemed broken. I couldn’t get it to take my cards no matter what and couldn’t find anyone to help so I left.
Edit* so I swear we paid $5 for the membership, I told them I wanted it and had the app open on my phone, they had me write my email on a piece of paper and all too, but the app is still asking me to pay $5? What the heck did I give them my email name and phone number at the desk for?? They also asked for my ID at the door which was weird. Arcades are mostly for kids no?

We went bowling here and it was awful, the lane we had kept having problems and the workers kinda just stand there, plus the games are super expensive. Nobody enjoyed their time here.

A nice selection of games and claw machines. The credits required to play the games are pretty high. The $50 card will barely last 30 minutes if you're a lover of claw games, since those range between 10-14 credits.
Nonetheless it was still a fun experience.

Won a flamingo holding a shrimp plushy out the claw machine 🦩🦐 👍
Really enjoyed this place since the games weren't just geared for younger kids. Played two rounds of bowling 🎳 👌

Staff was polite but they seemed like they were a bit overworked, like there weren't enough people there to do everything. I went for the crane game and won 6 prizes off the 777 credits so I mean they seem to be winnable. Two of the crane games I wanted to play were not working but I asked them to move a prize for me I had gotten stuck and they did it when i checked back at the machine. We were in a rush so we didn't stay as long as we would have liked to but if I was in town I would come again.

You have to show ID to get into an arcade? I thought I was coming here for fun but apparently this place is super dangerous and I can get killed here.
Also can't bring in food from other places in the mall? That's just a scummy way to get people to waste their money and force them to buy their food and drink.

Giving it three stars solely because the kiosk that you buy/reload your cards at blatantly lies. On the sign above the kiosk it shows you the different rates depending on how much money you load. It says for $55 you get 337 credits (which is including the *bonus* credits it gives you for spending a bit more), but when you go on the kiosk it says $50 gets you 325 (including the bonus) which is whatever. That would've been fine, but no. I bought the $50 one and at the end of the sale after you've paid *then* it tells you how many credits you were given. 300..... So I was lied to twice?? I wanted to say something, but I feel like it would've changed nothing. Other than that great selection of games, but they were all pretty pricey. Most games were around 12 credits.

From what I’ve seen this is the closest thing to a Japanese arcade in Wisconsin. It has a few older japan import rhythm machines. A couple of the American style machines we played were also broken and the prices are a little high for credits. I would highly not recommend the food here. Overall was an enjoyable experience!

The place looks nice but the customer service and support is terrible. I have never been to a place where I walk in happy and leave angry and frustrated. I came in by my self and was planning on booking bowling for 3 lanes. I was a part of 16 people. Due to their poor customer service I had my whole party leave and we went to JB’s on 41 instead.

This review is specific to bowling. The lanes are constantly breaking down and if your doing an hour of bowling they dont add any extra time for the lanes being down. We pressed the service button about 10 times. The maintenance guy was really nice but you could tell he was struggling with all the problems.

There's needs to be a discussion with staff and understanding this is a place to have fun. A staff member told us we couldn't move tables together, then told us we couldn't have food from other restaurants in the mall there (most of our guests did buy food at the food stand area in the arcade) Then a manager or someone came over and said the same thing. I looked on website and around the area and I didn't see a single sign or policy saying we couldn't.

Don’t come here for bowling. A lot of the lanes are broken down. And they won’t tell you that because apparently… “they can’t just tell people that the bowling lanes aren’t working” but they’ll still take your money and won’t refund you. Another couple that were there were also having trouble. They ended up moving them to what looked like the only lane that was working and they moved us to the lane that that same couple was having trouble in. So we ended up just leaving and walking out without even being able to play not even half a game and basically giving them our money for nothing.

Wow! We had so much fun in this arcade! The value for the money is really good, especially if your kids like claw machines and plushies! We got a bunch of good quality licensed plushies and played a lot of games too! Totally worth it! Better than Chuck E. Cheese. My kids love Japanese things so this was definitely a hit! Will come again!

My son had a good time here, but the self-service kiosk machine double charged my account, and calling corporate and the store location was very frustrating to get my money back. All corporate does is take down your info, send it off to the store, and say that a manager will call back. After calling corporate twice, I never got calls back from the manager, so I had to reach out myself. After a lead was able to get a manager to talk through the issue, the lead came back to the call and said there was nothing they can do about the double charge, and I would need to dispute the charge with my bank.
Very frustrating customer service and communication experience. Beware of the kiosks!

Booked a bowling party package and the party coordinator person Aaliyah quoted me a different price for kids on the phone than in person. Ended up paying the adult price for 3 kids. Even though we went through everything over the phone, nothing was ready when we arrived. Also didn't receive the drinks that were supposed to come with our party package but with everything going on, I didn't realize it until the end.
The bowling lanes broke down a lot as well. There was only 1 person working the bar and the food area so there was a huge wait. Somehow he managed to get our pizzas out in a timely manner. Unfortunately I can't remember his name but give that man a raise!
The arcade was okay but could use a good wipe-down at the end of the day. They were gross. A lot of the claw machines had nothing inside as well so you couldn't even play them.

If you're looking to use the arcade, this is a great place. Good variety of games, well laid out, clean.
If you're looking to do anything else (bowl, order food, drinks etc) this is not your place. It would be difficult to find any business in Wisconsin with worse customer service. The employees don't want to be there. There's no leadership or plan from the management. It's just a free for all behind the counters.

Could be great, but wayyyy understaffed. Not on the staff at all seemed like 3 of the 8 were doing all the work. Most of them were cool. Managers are inept. To a degree thats almost funny. Almost. 45 min for soda and a pizza. Another 20 30 waiting for a beer. Kids blew through 200+ dollars at the arcade before I got pizza and a beer. Definitely a pass. Sad because great concept inside.

I went for my birthday with friends and had a blast- ended up going again a few days later. In addition to expected arcade games, they also have imported games and Japanese-style claw machines. I love the 9-10 dollar (depending on the day of the week) pass that lets you play certain games free for an hour- my friends and I got through their 4-player Halo campaign on that pass.
Lots of unique and interesting prize choices, and free refills on drinks. I haven't tried the bowling or karaoke yet, but I might have to go back to do so. Definitely loud, busy and crowded on the weekend - much less so on a week day.

DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS.
Cannot use giftcards except for bowling as registers "are not set up". Management could not provide gift card terms and conditions other than to call corporate. Corporates response is "what the manager says goes". Website specifically says gift card cant be used for food or drinks but nothing about not using for games and no one can provide terms and conditions.

We have gone three times in last several weeks. This is not only the best round 1, but arcade in the region. A skilled player can win alot, while everybody was walking around with prizes and having fun. They have the newest games, tons of security and it's clean. The all star part of this location is the staff. Shout out to the GM Adam, who is very professional, respectful, and kind to all patrons big or small. There was a ton of staff, all were happy, helpful and friendly, our visits were really fun and amazing. Whether you need crane assistance, or help with bowling, or redeeming tickets, the lines were small and your sure to see a smiling, friendly worker awating! Best experience we have had in a while five Golden stars. Will be back.

I visited this place for karaoke in March 2019 and I loved it so much that I decided to work there. I am currently an associate and I started working there in December. My goal is to always provide excellent customer service and make sure our guests have a wonderful experience. I assist guests at our Amusement, Bowling, and Food & Beverage counters and try to solve any issues or concerns they may have. If you have communicated with me, you would agree that I always try to go above and beyond to provide the best service possible. Although we may be understaffed at times, we all do our best to provide the best possible solutions to all our guests. Our team strives to make each guest's experience better than the last.

Cool not from America machines at this location as well as many anime and cute plushies in the claw machines as well as a decent ticket shop
Many music and rhythm competitive games such as ddr, gitadora, and Mario kart too
My only issue is round1 branded claw and timing machines feel a little more scammy then other places such as resorts in the Wisconsin dells

It's not such a bad place. It has pretty fun games and stuff, but there are some major problems with this place! The pizza first of all just tastes like bread and nothing else. The workers as you probably read from the other reviews, were dull and dint look too happy about anything. The credit costs were insane unless you got the timeless pass. You probably will average 500 points if you get 20 credits, and that pretty much socks. Even so, I combined it with other cards and got the stuff in the pictures below. I don't recommend this place at all but it was pretty cool for the halo game.
