I thought since I came there for my 4th time I believe, it would be a great idea for a review. It gets a 5/5 for me. The burgers over there are amazing! Especially when you have them medium rare and the fries are top notch, so the chefs are doing their job right. Lauren provides the best and friendly service possible. I especially approve of the music choice being played. So what more can I say except I'll be back for sure. Rumors Sports Bar & Grill, come for the food, stay for the sports, and be amazed by the friendliness and service from the hard working and dedicated staff members of the working class.

A couple of weeks ago, my girlfriend and I decided to have a casual lunch at Rumors Sports Bar and Grill in Sussex, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The ambiance was welcoming and perfect for a relaxed casual meal. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, which was both delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was quite good and added to the overall positive experience. We would recommend Rumors for anyone looking for great food, fair pricing, and a friendly atmosphere.

We enjoy our experience each time we time we go. Great tasting food with specials! Venue is clean and neat. Staff-amazing! Love the atmosphere enough to drive 25 miles twice per week! They host a car show on Tuesday afternoons with hot dogs and hamburgers for sale. You can eat at the bar, at a table or outside in a small tiki type area! Today's nacho platter was amazing!

First and foremost our server Lauren was absolutely wonderful and tried hard for us to be satisfied.
We both ordered the king cut prime rib. $29.95 a piece. The first plate we were served was cold. They took it back and brought out another cut which was warmer but was so tough we could barely cut it. The knives were not the issue. We were told that some cuts can be tough. NOT! We go out for prime rib often and NEVER have we had one we had to literally saw through!! They did nothing to compensate us at all we ate our baked potato and took 3/4 of the meat home. (not sure what we will do with it but it’s $60.00!) I am disappointed in the response to this by Rumors and will probably pass on going back there again and will recommend our friends to also pass on this establishment.

For whoever was providing bar service at 8:24 pm on 8/3/2023, I understand that you may be under staff or busy. However, skipping over a person who was waiting longer than the person who entered the door recently is quite unkind. I've never had an issue at this establishment before, with regards to service, but it seems that has changed over time. Please keep an eye on who walks in and provide service in that order. I understand you have a job to do, but being skipped in line is distasteful.

I walked out of Belfast across the street because their service was so poor, and was treated VERY well by Jody. I had the nachos, which were good. Tap beers must be expensive everywhere, because my IPA on tap was $7, which is on par with prices in downtown Milwaukee. I didnt expect this from a rural-area pub, but it seems to be consistent. We stopped in July 3rd after kayaking on cedar lake. mainly because my dogs name is also Rumor and I wanted a photo with the sign.
Top notch customer service to the gentleman behind the bar! We ordered to-go due to having dogs with us. But stayed close and parked in your overflow parking on the hill. You had no plasticware for to-go orders but he borrowed us silverware. We returned it promptly once we ate our meal. The gentleman was no longer there but a woman was. We went to return silverware and the woman didn't even acknowledge us. She stood with her back against the wall talking to a customer. After a few min, We left the items on the bar and left.
First time in and customer service was perfect at one point and horrible the next.
The food was amazing although they were out of a few main menu items like ribs.
I only have three stars due to being out of main dishes, no plastic wear and the woman behind the bar.
I would come back to try the ribs. But will call ahead next time.

The ambience was very nice. Lots of TVs with all the different games. The menu was quite appealing. There were options for everybody. They even serve a great breakfast starting at 7:00 a.m.! I have their Philly cheesesteak which was absolutely delicious. It had sliced prime rib, salted onions and peppers too. And of course it was smothered in mozzarella cheese. You could get it with their homemade sliced chips or fries. I went with the chips as the came highly recommended. There were a lot of drink options and a lot of draft beers to choose from. There was also weekly specials that were a really great deal! I'll definitely be back here and recommend it to everybody I know.

Met my son and husband there for lunch. They were biking on the Bugline trail and it was not that far off the trail for them to get to. We had flatbread pizza, the huge pretzel, burgers and a salad. One of us had the Mexican Thursday special. The chicken chipotle burrito. The burrito was packed with cubed potatoes. So disgusting. Tiny little pieces of chicken. Like barely any chicken at all. Nothing else. No lettuce, tomato, cheese, rice, peppers. Just potatoes. $15.00 for that! I’ve given you guys like eight chances and only because Sussex doesn’t have many options. The picture on the right is from google images. That’s what it’s supposed to look like. I had the prime rib sandwich and it was good. A very disappointing night out for a $60.00 bill because one of us left saying it was the grossest thing he’s ever eaten. No I did not tell our server Austin because I could tell from the beginning he wasn’t the type to care. I also asked if you had cherry vodka and you didn’t. Five minutes later I see the other bartender use raspberry vodka. That would have worked. I wish Austin would have gone a little above and beyond and recommend another option. I always say, if you wouldn’t eat it, don’t serve it.

We had the BEST TIME last Friday evening at Rumors! Nick promised us great service and great food and that is exactly what we got! We were going to the John McGivern show at Hamilton High School so the 14 of us “seniors” aka “old farts” had a wonderful time! Drink service at our table was awesome as was the food service! The staff was was so attentive and FLEXIBLE! The food was delicious and Rumors is on the list of KEEPERS! We all agreed that we will be back!
