Upon entering i was greeting with a trio playing jazz into the open street. The ambiance was quaint and the lighting was warm. I felt invited immediately.
I had very sweet and eager waitstaff that ensured I had a good visit and will likely return.
The scallops I felt lacked seasoning but the lemon oil that was part of the dish helped tremendously. Personally I'd like to see a seasonal risotto with scallops on the menu.
I had the braised beef with garlic mash, and carrots. All of these were cooked very well and I plan to try their other offerings of root vegetables my next visit.

I had the Braised Chicken and it was awesome. The sauce was very tasty. It comes with green beans and garlic mashed. Would eat it again.

We just had a lovely meal at Rusted Roost! The menu is creative in a great way!
We started with the Jala-berry, which were sort of like croquettes made of cream cheese, jalapeños, and cranberries. The jalapeños were very mild, and while I do like some spice, everything came together beautifully.
My husband had the chicken pot pie and I had the fig and briefly chicken, which I loved. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavors were fantastic. Hubby's chicken pot pie was also excellent.
The decor is great - dark tones and cozy, but not so dark that you can't read the menu. The music was an eclectic mix, but not intrusive. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and had the right balance of checking in enough without hovering.
We've been meaning to try Rusted Roost for a long time, and we are so glad we finally made it! We will definitely be back.

Tasty cocktails and great service in a cool atmosphere. As a vegan, I was excited to see a new place with vegan options on the menu. I've eaten here twice, once had the cornucopia plate (veggies and vegan mashed potatoes) and the second time cauliflower steak and vegan mashed potatoes. I loved the purple cauliflower, but it was florets not cut like cauliflower steak normally is. It also came with a sauce that just seemed like oil or margarine, I skipped that. Overall I really liked the flavors of the veggies and the potatoes, but I found the portions to be very small. My husband had a fish special and also found the portions to be small. Next time, we'll add on salads for more food.

This restaurant was one of the best I have been to in the Appleton area. The Food and atmosphere were phenomenal and we even got to meet the Chef!
All of that being said, our server Emma, was one of the best service experiences I have had in a long time. She was so incredibly genuine, friendly, and knowledgeable. I could see she had consistent interactions at her other tables and next time I am in town, I will definitely be back. THANK YOU ALL for the lunch, I can't wait to come back! This ended up being the highlight of my trip.

Stopped in for a couple of cocktails, a snack & some music. Got all three upstairs out on the roof top. Appetizers were great, drinks were well made & reasonably priced while the music was perfect. The venue itself was clean & neat. Accommodations a perfect fit for the roof top experience. Great addition to Menasha's main street.

A diamond in the rough for sure!! Place has style and food appearance and taste is a ten solid. Everything was high scale and lived up to our every expectation and I was a chef for over twenty years. Id suggest this place to all.

Love this place! One or the nicer restaurants in Menasha. Server was super kind. They also have an upstairs that you can rent for events starting in April 2024.
Only complaint is during the winter they don't have another door to block the wind so when it's cold outside the front part of the restaurant gets chilly.
2025 UPDATE: new head chef so there's some great menu changes. Rooftop music every Friday starting in June

Finally made it to The Rusted Rooster last night.
What a GEM downtown #Menasha
The place is Industrial, yet Beautiful. Classy yet Cozy!
Drinks were spot on & supper was soo yummy!!!
They offered many of the menu items in vegetarian or vegan options as well.
We loved the Chicken picatta, eggplant parmesan and friday night fish fry!!!
100% recommended!!!

Completely shocked at the 1-star reviews. My boyfriend and I ate here today for the first time, and the food was delicious! The service was great, and the atmosphere was fabulous (what a beautiful restaurant). I had the Pork Verde: 5 stars! So flavorful and tender. My boyfriend had the Hunter's Chicken and loved it. Then we shared the Irish Cream Bread Pudding: wow! It was incredible; one of the best desserts I've ever had. We will definitely be back -- we saw so many things we want try! :)

My husband and I got a rare date night out while my MIL was in town to watch the kids. We were REALLY looking forward to trying this place out. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement.
We were placed at a table for two so close to the corner of the bar staff and patrons could hardly squeeze by us. Annoying, yes, and not the date-night vibe we were hoping for. Our waitress asked us what we would like to drink, then we waited 10 mins for the drinks and waitress to reappear. She quickly set them down and started to walk away when we stopped her to order an appetizer. She didn't address us again until the appetizer came out, which was quite some time later and again, we had to stop her before she rushed away so we could order our entrees.
She never once asked us anything, we had to consistently get her attention, which made us feel like we were burdening HER at our night out. Total bullshit and what an awful vibe.
The food was the worst part of it all. Everything was a long wait in a half-empty restaurant. Random thought-it was odd that the wine list was in a fancy leather menu cover, yet the food menu was a laminated piece of paper. Weird.
We ordered the potato pancakes with salmon as a starter. To call these potato pancakes in the great state of Wisconsin where these are a supper club staple, is a true dishonor. They had ZERO seasoning...not even salt and the texture was like a rubbery puffed up mashed potato ball. The "crème fraîche" was watered down sour cream. We each tried one, ate the salmon on the side and ditched the rest.
My husband got the so-called Pork Verde. Please see attached picture of how unappetizing this dish was presented-it looked like something I might find after my dog got sick. Huge chunks of tough stew meat in a bowl with flavorless green sauce that I wouldn't even feed to said dog. And the tortillas...you'd think they could at least get those right...no.
I got the mushroom flatbread with bechamel and asparagus. Someone PLEASE find the mushrooms and asparagus! The mushrooms were dried, no problem, but so small you can't even find them in the balsamic glaze. Maybe one tiny piece to each slice. And the asparagus was literally sliced so thin, what's the freaking point?!? How do you advertise this with mushroom and asparagus when you can't even see them, let alone taste them in the pool of bechamel.
Again, our waitress NOT ONCE asked us how ANYTHING was, which gave us the feeling she knew the food was not on par. Or she was just rude and lacked customer service skills, either way BOO Rusted Roost. If at least our waitress was decent, maybe we could've looked over other things...scratch that. There is no getting over the terrible food.
Awful, awful, awful. All around waste of $100 and a much needed date night. Don't waste your time or money.

We try and review a new Fox Valley restaurant every weekend, and this week we stopped by Rusted Roost! We quickly got a table around 8PM on a Saturday. We got two of the seasonal drinks, truffle fries, the elk burger and a chicken dish with fig. The truffle fries really stole the show - loved them! Other food met expectations. My only advice would be to go a little earlier. We felt a bit “pushed out” at the end of our meal.

Our server, Eve, was wonderful. Very kind and caring.
Ordered the vegan burger. It was good, but menu is a little misleading. It says the burger comes with fries, but turns out the fries aren't vegan.
The atmosphere is great (although music was a little loud). Great little find, especially after 4 days of eating hospital food due to visiting family in ThedaCare RMC.

Was very excited to be visiting the restaurant for the first time. In Nov of 2024 I received a gift certificate but due to a death in the family did not have an.opportunity to get there. The gift certificate says it expires Mar 15, 2024 but also says in "some states gift certificates have no expiration date". Wisconsin IS one of those states where gift certificates do NOT expire. When I went to pay the bill the wait staff would not accept it. Very disappointing and not customer friendly at all. Will probably not go back.

We had dinner here for the first time tonight and everything was amazing! We started with the Brussels sprouts which came with enough for a small army and were so delicious. The only knock is that we wish they had a little more goat cheese.
We had one elk burger and one roost burger - both of which were phenomenal. The elk burger was just a tad bit better if I had to pick!
Our server, Emma, was so lovely and sweet! She recommended the bread pudding to us for dessert and we’re glad she did because it was also amazing! We didn’t think we were going to finish it because we were so full, but we had to because it was so good!
We put off trying this place for so long but we’re definitely going to add it into our rotation now!

Hostesses was Not accommodating at all!!! There were 2 in our party she seated us in a middle table after we asked for a table along the side. She said those were for parties of 4. Which I could understand if they were busy but there were all of 4 total tables being used with lots of open ones, plus there was one along the side for 2 which she wouldn't seat us at. The next she opened the big garage door and we were cold and asked her to close it, she did but with Alot of attitude, she must realize she's running around we're sitting. The waitress never asked us how we liked our food or if we wanted anything else. I would of liked a glass of water. Prices are high, Chicken Pot Pie is 1/2 the price in Appleton and just as good, with more sides to chose from and bigger. Started out bad and didn't get better. First impressions usually tell the story.

I love the decor and vibe of the Rusted Roost; it gave me the impression of high-end food, and I was prepared to pay for it. I'm always looking for superb upper-crust food joints and am happy to pay accordingly for that sound, foodie experience. Unfortunately, this was not that. :-(
The restaurant was minimally busy, serving approximately 3-5 other tables. Of course, I ordered the Wagyu burger. I'm bougie like that! One of my lunch companions ordered the same burger as me. We were starved and ready to eat, so we anxiously awaited these burgers... for 40 minutes. The server approached our table, handing us our plates so we could place them on our spot in front of us. I immediately noticed the burger was the shape and thickness of a frozen patty, and my heart sunk to the pit of my empty stomach. Okay, I can deal with a frozen patty if the texture, juiciness, and flavor are there, but I don't want a frozen Wagyu patty. If I'm paying wagyu prices, I'd prefer fresh hand-pressed meat. And why did the server ask us how we wanted the wellness of our burger cooked if the patty was too thin to accommodate any special cooking instruction? Typically, a medium-rare burger takes less than 40 minutes to cook. Needless to say, the texture, juiciness, and flavor were not there, but the steak fries were pretty good if you ate only the hot ones. The tiny, overpriced specialty drink was tasty, though! We paid $100 (including tip) for three meals, one mixed specialty adult cocktail, a Blue Moon beer, and a soda.
Decor and ambiance can take you so far, but as consumers grow foodie-savvy, places like this will have to up their game.
Note to my readers: Just so you know, the crab cakes are made with the cheapest, mushiest crab that food service can buy, so if you know crab cake well, you'll be disappointed if you order them here.
We won't return.
Sidebar: I just read other reviews and see that Rusted Roost automatically adds a 20% tip to their bills without notifying you. Perhaps that is why our bill was so high for just three people. Diners beware.

Had dinner here last night....the atmosphere was cool. Our server was great! There were plenty of drink options and the food menu had great spunding options. The 4 of us all got something different from fish fry to the pollo en crema. As we were finishing up with our bill with the server, she mentioned thst there was a bar / outdoor patio upstairs.
We went upstairs and spent another hour and a half up there listing to great live tunes while enjoying drinks from the bar. Our 1st time didn't disappoint at all....we'll be back for another date night!! Thanks!

I'm changing my original review from 4 stars to 3. I have now eaten there 3 times and in my opinion, the food has just been good but certainly not outstanding. On the other hand, others in my group thought their food was very good. Service has been perfect each time though. But I've also downgraded my previous star rating on Atmosphere from 5 to 4. I have made this same comment on a few other restaurant reviews but it is incredibly noisy in the this restaurant. I know when a business is busy, noise level increases but I think my last visit was the loudest of any restaurant I have ever been in and there were still many open tables so I'm certain it gets louder when the tables are filled.

First time here, July 2024, after several recommendations from friends and neighbors. Our 1st experience was AWESOME! Emma, our server, was exceptionally friendly, efficient, and attentive--thanks Emma! 😊
Latkes with homemade applesauce and creme fraiche was delish, and our meals were even better-- hot honey chicken sandwich for my husband and garden burger for me, both with fries-- unbelievably good! Cool atmosphere with a big city vibe in little downtown Menasha. So stoked to have a great local place for lunch & dinner, rather than heading to Appleton. Highly recommend!

The food I have tried so far is amazing. The hay and straw pasta is really good, and the pork verde as well. As for the portions, I wish they were a little bigger considering how good they were. I also really liked how clean the place was compared to other places that barely clean the tables. You guys have to give me the secret on how you make the stainless steel really shine in the bar area. It's mesmerizing to look at. I had to add the upstairs is beutifull had a couple of cocktail and sat next to the fire pit I also couldn't help but noticed you had Buchanan's whisky not many places have it and I know form experience that someone had to recommend it now that's a person with class.

My second time dining here. The ambiance of resturant is very nice with good spacing of tables. Pricing is comparable with similar resturants On my first visit I tried the pork verde with mashed potatoe. It was very good reminding me of shepards pie with a twist. My wife loved the chicken pot pie. So much so she ordered on the second visit as well. The staff is friendly.
We had a new person waiting on us and I can understand nervousnes and fumbling with the order take in. I suggest the management spend more time with the training rather than sending newbies out to serve.
We always tip 20% and where prepared to do the same when I saw that amount was automatically added to the final ticket with out ever being informed. I pulled up the receipt of the first visit and it was the same scenario. That time I added the 20% which already had it added in.
Customers be aware of this! OK some will say buyer beware but really. A wonderful place like this use this tactic! At minimum guests should be made well informed. On the final ticket line items it states "Large Party 20% . Again 4 people which I would consider a normal table.

My partner and I came here for cocktails and apps. We were excited to see shakshuka on the menu, but the excitement quickly faded when it came to the table and we realized we had paid $20 for a small portion of VERY lightly seasoned tomatoes from a can. Shakshuka is one of my favorite things to make with extra tomatoes from my garden in the summer, it's fast, easy, cheap and fresh. The shakshuka at Rusted Roost wasn't even made with fresh tomatoes, which would be the minimum I'd expect for the price. I was excited for downtown Menasha to have an upscale restaurant, but Rusted Roost misses the mark.

I’ve read some of these previous reviews and they don’t make much sense.
First off it’s a fantastic atmosphere and the service was splendid.
The food was a real delight. The house salad with the horseradish mint vinaigrette is amazing and should be sold by the bottle.
The purple potato spears with your choice of aioli was another delight. The breading on the potatoes is perfect.
We had the special Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi and the Hunters chicken with mashed potatoes. Both were a delight and flavorful. Chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. The combination of the chicken, sauce, vegetables and mash was splendid.
Dessert was also fantastic.
The food is absolutely outstanding and the service is top notch. I feel the ppl giving negative reviews are just cheap. This isn’t a place with a discounted feeding bucket. It’s a nice place to eat with quality food and service.
My only complaint is I should’ve asked for more napkins.

You're sure to be greeted by a warm welcome and your service will be outstanding. I am proud to say this establishment is one of my very favorites. Please take your time and stop in to enjoy.

They had me at latkes, an appetizer so generous I took most of it home. They're served with smoked salmon or house made applesauce, but you can have both for a small upcharge. While I was waiting to order, I continued to read the menu. As a (mostly) vegetarian, I'm very intrigued by the vegan options and am looking forward to dining here often so I can try them all.

I was there three times. Loved their Greek salad platter and had it the two times I was there. The third time I ordered Hunter’s chicken and it was a great disappointment. For it’s price (dinner $25), the portion was small and the chicken was dry and chewy.

The service was perfect. The drinks were upscale & tasty, and the food was great-quality & delicious! My only concern was that, while the prices were more in line with dinner, the portions were closer to lunch portions. My husband had a chicken pot pie & I had a stew over mashed potatoes. Each meal was $17. The pot pie was only about 5” around and maybe 2” deep. My husband ate some of my meal to get his fill, and I don’t eat all the much at one sitting, so we did go home with some leftover stew, but we would have expected the pot pie to have been larger. I do highly recommend dining there. It’s great to have another local option. Maybe the owners will read this post and the portions will get a bit larger. 😉

Atmosphere is awesome, the food is not. The food was terrible and so expensive. We ordered chicken pot pie which was just chunks of chicken in a crock of melted margarine and sage with a crust on top. Super small, no vegetables, so oily and only tasted of sage. Gross. I ordered the hay and straw pasta. It was so incredibly bland. The sauce literally tasted like milk. And my daughter had chicken tenders. The chicken was so rubbery it was hard to cut and eat. Our salads were under dressed. The only good thing about this meal were the croutons on the salad. Most disappointing $90 I’ve ever spent.

I'm so glad we stopped by! Great atmosphere. Warm, updated, inviting yet chill. The food was amazing. I had had the savory samoln cakes which were the special. If they have them when you come in, you absolutely must have them. The chicken tenders were house made and absolutely delicious! Can't wait to come back to try something else... unless the salmon cakes are back because I'll definitely have those again 😋

Trout special was overcooked. Chicken crema was a very small portion and overcooked for $24. Cauliflower "steak" was uninspired and also inadequate portion-wise. Fries, salad, and burger were good. Service and atmosphere were excellent.

Not a very good experience for us, but the worst part was watching a couple who came in at 7;20pm and were turned away. I heard the gentleman say , your website says you are open till 9pm and the hostess said they were going to close… newer restaurant turning away new customers??? Not good

Been in a few times. This place has a lot of potential - the service and atmosphere is great. 5 stars. I give a two stars because the food is not impressive while very expensive.
From my experiences… Mashed potatoes don’t taste right, menu choices are odd (imagine a chicken restaurant with out any type of chicken sandwich, also imagine a restaurant open for lunch with only dinner options), the vegan dish I tried was terrible (cauliflower steak, hard as a brick).
They do know how to cook chicken without turning it into rubber which many restaurants in the Fox valley can’t so I’ll give them that. I’ll try again if they fix the menu.

We went on a Thursday night. We were seated immediately, and the waitress was friendly. We ordered the turkey burger and the hamburger. Both were just ok. The English muffin was not warm, and the turkey burger was very dry. The fries were crispy. My friend said her burger was just ok. Therefore, she ate mostly fries as well. Overall, the staff was wonderful and prompt. We would come back for the service but were not impressed by the food.

My wife and I had gone recently, we both ordered the Fillet. This is the most expensive item on the menu at 50$ each. I ordered rare, my wife ordered medium rare. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly. I had received a practically well steak with minimal pink inside, the exact opposite of rare. I brought this up to the bar tender, who then talked to the manager, in return the bartender had to speak with "chef". I was not offended a re cook or a comp of any kind. The sides were amazing, drinks were good. After paying for a very poorly cooked steak, I decided to pay cash for another beer to wait for my wife to finish hers. Only then, the bartender offered to pay for my beer (post check) because of the steak. The service was great from the bartender. The flooring seems to be an awful floating floor over uneven concrete. The floor creaks and physically moves with every step. Not what you'd expect from a more upscale facility. I would not recommend this place due to my experiences.

So happy to have some vegan choices so that was great! The meal I ordered was delicious, however it wasn't hot and sadly for the price it was very small. Not only for the price, it was just very small in general. I don't eat large meals at all and am a small person but I left there still hungry. The atmosphere is great! I would go back if the portion size increases a bit.

Overall meh and definitely way overpriced. They're new and maybe just need to work some stuff out, but I'm not willing to spend the money to get disappointed again. My pollo en crema definitely looked different than other pictures, it was bland, barely had any sauce, and super dry. Also only had a tiny amount of minced peppers and was missing onions. Salad was boring, definitely needs more to it than greens, tomatoes and cucumbers for the price. Turkey burger was missing the sauce too. Atmosphere is nice but doesn't make up for the food, the place was quite loud even though it was barely half full. Waitress could have been more attentive too. They definitely have potential but should maybe do some reevaluating in the kitchen and make sure it is consistent and find ways to elevate what they're already offering.

Atmosphere is great, easily the nicest atmosphere in Neenah/Menash downtown area. Food was disappointing. Pollo en Crema wasn’t good. The chicken was dry as a bone and the seared exterior was inedible. Sauce was salty and the peppers were minced. Wife’s chicken tenders were “alright.”
Would be nice to have a simple burger on the menu rather that a turkey burger. Given the chicken, I can only imagine how dry that would be.
I hope they can figure out the food, because it’s a cool place. We’ll give them one more try.

I don't know why people are leaving such horrible reviews. I went yesterday with some coworkers for lunch and everything was fantastic. I got the walnut and mushroom bolognese and I loved it. There was so much that I could only eat half of it before I had to take home leftovers. Both of my coworkers git the hayand straw pasta and loved it, and my boss got the turkey burger, which she enjoyed.

I was really excited to try this place out with my friends, as there was a vegan menu listed, and options for our dietary restrictions are limited in the area.
I ordered the Cornucopia Plate which featured grilled Zucchini, mashed potatoes and carrot spears. The Zucchini was barely cooked and had no flavor whatsoever. It was rock hard and everyone in my party agreed that there was no seasoning at all. In contrast, the mashed potatoes were so heavily salted I had a hard time finishing them. The same can be said for the mushrooms and carrot spears. The portion for this meal was also very small for the price.
The second of my party of three ordered the cauliflower steak. Instead of a steak style slice, she received three pieces of steamed purple cauliflower. There were also the same issues with their mashed potatoes and carrots. The sauce that was included appeared to be melted margarine with no additional flavor or seasonings.
My third party member ordered the Turky Burger on English Muffin. Myself and the second party member are vegan, so we could not try the burger, but she informed us it was very dry, and also bland.
In terms of drinks, they were completely normal. But everyone agreed the food portions were much too small for the price (even if the quality was top notch). It is not somewhere I would go again, and it was clear that the vegan menu was not created with vegans and vegetarians in mind.

I think this is a great addition to downtown Menasha! The atmosphere is unlike anything Menasha has seen before. It's great to have an option close by for a nicer evening out. Although the atmosphere was great, the food and service needs some improvement. I ordered the chicken piccata and the first bite was amazing! Unfortunately, as I cut further into the chicken I noticed it was still raw. When I mentioned something to the waiter, he told me "it was supposed to look like that" my meal also came with a great tasty side salad which ended up being my main meal. At the end of dinner the waiter asked if I wanted a box for the remaining chicken, after I said no, he mentioned he would say something to the chef about my dish and took a closer look and agreed it was definitely undercooked. At that point, he handed us our bill and we paid the full amount, no discounts or concessions given for an unprepared meal. Overall I'm excited to have this restaurant here, and will give it another try soon. I write this review in hopes it provides a learning experience for the wait staff on customer service & the kitchen to assure all chicken is properly cooked.

TL;DR - way overpriced for the quality and amount of food
I learned they just opened 3 days ago so I'm sure there is a learning curve to opening a business, though the prices are much too high for the food received. I can go to Arby's and get more roast beef on a sandwich for 1/3 the price. This had decent flavor but only in the middle of the long narrow sandwich, leaving no meat on the ends and wasting 1/4 of the bun. Also, frites are just steak fries for anyone wondering...they're nothing fancy. My wife ordered the turkey sandwich and the patties looked like frozen patties thrown on the grill, same with the English muffin...store bought.

Went with family last week (second day after opening). Waitress was obviously new but very kind and honest about not knowing much about the food. Very limited drink menu, but what we had ordered for drinks was good. We ordered the Shakshukah as an app, which was tasty (very similar to a vegetarian spaghetti sauce) but it came 8 very small slices of toasted focaccia. Like I said, it was tasty, but 8 very small pieces of bread topped with sauce/stew for $16? For $4/person, that's insane- even split between 2 people, $8/person for basic crostini is too much.
This is when we started to figure out how things were about to go for dinner. There were a few issues- 1 member of our party ordered the Pollo en Crema- it was good, but very small (a very small chicken breast with sauce for $25). Potato casserole was tasteless (all 4 members agreed). 2nd member ordered the Piccata... not sure if there is an incorrect description, or if there was a serious mistake, but it was not a piccata. It was a relatively large, flattened, breaded piece of chicken (to their credit, it would've been one of the best chicken patties/flattened chicken tenders I've tasted) with a small dixie cup of melted margarine on the side. There was no lemon or wine flavor in the slightest. Maybe it had separated and we received the top? That was paired with mashed potatoes, which were decent. The third member of our party had the chicken chasseur, which was everyone's least favorite. Tomato sauce on top was unpleasantly sweet and lacked in real flavor, mushrooms under-seasoned, serving size was a very small chicken breast, casserole was bland. The last member of our party had the turkey burger on english muffins- claimed to be good, but was gone after a few (honestly, 4-5) bites. The patty was the same diameter as the english muffin- aka a slider for $16.
Serving portions that small for $20-30 (avg) in this area is a business destined to close soon. For most people, a single chicken breast with a small side is not enough, even paired with a $15-20 appetizer (a few bites of bread with sauce). So overall, our party paid ~$160 (tip included) for 2 alcoholic drinks, 1 beer, 1 soda, 8 tiny pieces of bread with sauce, 3 chicken breasts, a turkey slider, and some sub-par potatoes. The margins must be gigantic here, this would honestly cost ~$25-35 to make at home.
I understand there are restaurants (especially in large cities) that have small, more refined portion sizes... but they are restaurants where plating, service, atmosphere, and most importantly, taste is top notch. Honestly, I wouldn't have been happy if our meals were $10-12 each (rather than $25). Based on the "piccata" I would consider going back to get their chicken tenders... but do you really want to pay $15+drink+tip (probably around $23, if you get a non-alcoholic drink, $30+ with a mixed drink) for chicken tenders?

My husband and I went on Saturday and loved it! I had the prix fixe and chose the Pollo en crema and it was delicious as was the salad and the mashed potatoes were to die for! My husband had the hay and straw pasta and it was also really good! We had the shrimp and frites as an appetizer while we waited at the bar (cocktails packed a punch 😁).They have some very minor new business kinks to work out, but the service was awesome and we loved everything we had. Servers were gracious when mistakes happened (it took a while to realize we were a table that hadn't been waited on...but part of that is because we started at the bar and it looked like we had already been served - we blame ourselves). Everyone working there really seemed to take pride in their new restaurant. Oh...did I mention the strawberry shortcake with sugar biscuit???? 🤯 Worth a trip back just for that!!! I hope you will give them a chance!
