Crazy expensive. 2 hours of bowling for 4 people will cost you $70.

Plus, they canceled their partnership with Special Olympics.

Go to Tenth Frame.

Hey Everyone I would think twice before bowling here. It's super expensive! My husband and I and our two kids went and played one game and ate nothing and drank nothing and still payed over 50 dollars.

We reserved a two-hour lane at Sabre Lanes and took the whole family out for some fun on a rainy day. The manager, Brook, was incredibly kind, and although I didn’t catch the other staff member’s name, he was very helpful too. The lane was decorated so nicely—super cute—and the kids thought it was awesome. We enjoyed some pizza and a sampler platter, which hit the spot. After bowling, we played some arcade games.
One thing that really stood out was a handwritten thank-you note from Brook. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and something you don’t see at many places anymore. It made the experience feel even more special. Overall, it was a great day out for the whole family!

Had to wait 30 minutes to be helped at the frount to be given a lane, only saw 2 workers actually working. And there was one worker when came out twice from what I can assume is the office to "help" but just walked and talked to customers. I am really disappointed. This used to be a place id come to as a kid to have fun and bowl, but when I can tell that the building thats under new management is causing a delay in people having a good time makes me sad. Food also took a very long time to come out. I had 30 minutes to close to eat after ordering before 8:45. Causing us to be rushed to leave. Very disapointed.

Sabre lanes used to be my families favorite bowling place, went here a couple times over the summer and was extremely disappointed with all three of my experiences. To start with it was way over priced! When ordering food they tried upselling the pizza pitcher combo so much so that we were going to get it until we found out we couldn’t get sausage added to the pizza in the combo! And who cares you get free refills of soda anyways which renders the pitcher useless for smaller parties. Ended up ordering the wings as well and they were all burnt. Also got the pretzels and they didn’t come with cheese! I mean come on this is Wisconsin, you can’t have a pretzel without cheese! Ordered the “warmed” cookie that was sitting under what looked to be a heat lamp, but it was cold the chocolate chips were not melted. Not to mention the wait for the food was unbearable.

Tried using the bathroom but half the toilets were out of commission, the soap dispenser was on the floor and there was nothing to dry my hands with.

Last but not least, I was very disappointed with the renovation. The seats closest to the alleys are bolted to the floor and are two feet away from the table on either side rendering the table useless. Completely ruining the experience. The rest of the chairs are so much farther away now from the lanes that makes having a conversation impossible in large groups without screaming. All three times I’ve been there this summer the ramp down to the alleys was never completed and only has planks of wood acting as a temporary handrail.

My family also works with the special Olympics, who have been long time patrons of Sabre lanes for the past 20 years! Not only have they tripled their prices, but they also avoided communications with them for months resulting in special Olympics needing to find a replacement bowling alley venue last minute due to the inflated price and rude management. They have also turned away paying customers there to practice for the special Olympics in order to leave open alleys for other customers!

This company only cares about taking your money!

Totally disappointed in this bolero company, and I will only be bowling at the Tenth Frame from now on as I’ve heard this company also bought Super Bowl.

Incredibly disappointed with the new owners. This facility has hosted Special Olympics Bowling for as long as we have lived here and the new owners were not willing to work with the organization to continue this incredible opportunity for Special Olympics participants. If you are looking for a bowling alley, I would encourage you to support a different Bowling Alley. It makes me so sad when an organization doesn't believe in giving back to the community. I hope the feelings of the new owners change and they consider supporting such a great cause in later years.

On a random Saturday night, a perfect place for all ages. Everything was super clean, staff was super kind and helpful. Drinks were cold refreshing, and as a mom with all aged littles bathrooms were immaculate. 10 out of 10 will be coming back.

Sabre Lanes and Super Bowl will not get any of my business, and hopefully not yours either. Bowlero bought them out recently and they are now turning away 155 special Olympics bowlers from practice to “keep lanes free for open bowling”. They do pay for practice. Practice was done early anyways.155 of teammates have been turned away!!

Paid for 3 games, but were not told when we paid for games that they stopped serving food early! So into our 2nd game, when we wanted food, we're told they were slow and stopped food service early.

NOT ONLY THAT, no warning given!! They cut you off right when they close!! We were on 10th frame in last game and not allowed to finish!

BUT THE KICKER IS.... we waited 5minutes just for service at start and more than 3 problems with lane we were on during game play.. was a real down and their service towards customers is horrible. This place needs to focus a lot on making, keeping customers happy, cleanliness, and how they project and provide service to their customers!

THIS PLACE SEEMS NOT TO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE --- BUT FOR THEMSELVES and what they can squeeze out of others!

A great, fun place for a family of any age and/or ability (physical or mental). Awesome food and wonderful staff. If you get food there, I recommend the nachos (which is pretty big for $12), and the pepperoni pizza and pitcher combo for $25. I don't like pepperoni pizza and I REALLY enjoyed this one! Although you're not able to bring it outside food or drinks (not even water) they offered to bring me a free pitcher of water with a cup, lid and straw because of my health condition. They didn't mind my autistic son stimming around while waiting for his turn, even though it can come across like he is being an unruly child. It was nice to be able to reserve our lane and time hours in advance on their website and pay right then as well. They even let us finish our second game although our time was over without any extra charge.

While family was visiting from Denver, we decided on bowling on a rainy day. Sabre Lanes had just opened and we piled out of the car to the door. A fun place to bring the kids. Everything was clean and a friendly staff. Perfect family place to spend quality time with family or friends. My only concern was the price. A bit more than my budget expected.

If I could give no stars I would. Waited over AN HOUR to get our food. Went to management several times asking where our food was, that we ordered BEFORE we started bowling. Prices are expensive. Will NOT be going back!!!!!

Bowling was fun as always. The management was alright, we had a bad run in with her attitude and her glares. We ordered a large pizza, appetizer platter and fries. We waited AN HOUR for our food that we ordered before we even started to bowl. They gave out our food to another customer who didn’t even order it. Also, apparently you can’t buy pitchers of sodas anymore? This is a HUGE inconvenience! Everywhere you go for blowing or even just to have fun you always are able to buy pitchers of drinks. This place went DOWNHILL since it was bought by new owners. The new decor and walls are absolutely horrid to look at. This place looks like an old pizzeria. Our balls got stuck multiple times and we had to wait 30 minutes for the manager to even respond. Me and my family will never come here again.

Bowlero owned, need I say more? We were there for an all day tournament. High prices. Minor issues, but not impressed with staff: Staff would not allow me to have my reusable water bottle, filled a plastic cup for me to dump into my water bottle after insisting I keep my bottle. Didn’t put out water pitchers.

$7.99 a game is criminal. Bowlero ruins bowling alleys. It's all bells and whistles, with their big fancy overpriced arcade. Literally smelt like somebody pooped on the floor as soon as I walked through the door, faintly covered up by an air freshener.

Bowlero sucks.

Very disapointed in the quality of this bowling alley. The prices are insane. For 3 bowlers we payed $80 for unlimited bowling just for us to have to switch lanes 2 times and ended up leaving after 1 and a half games because of the lanes being stalled and pausing between turns. When asking for a refund we were told that they did not give them at all. When we asked for the manager we were in fact lied too and received a 50% discount with 3 bowling coupons. To all those with coupons please check the expiration date. We received coupons on Nov. 2nd of 2024 and the coupons expired in December of 2023.

I played 3 games with 2 people total, and only needed shoes for 1 person but the total was near $70. It should’ve costed $5.99 per game per person and $5.99 per shoe. So it should’ve only been around $42, I was overcharged $28.

My wife and I went here last week, and got to see some of the renovations that took place since the new ownership took over. We played two games each, with shoe rentals and a pizza. The total came out to $71!!! There were only three lanes being used, and this was on a Friday night. The machines were having issues on all lanes, ours would not return a ball consistently. Another Lane had pins come out from the machine onto the lane that had to be retrieved. Several lanes including ours had issues with lane quality. We could hear each rotation of the ball down the lane, as it banged on the warped planks all the way down. Another lane lodged a complaint that the poor quality damaged their personal ball. I will not be returning to this alley (that I once truly enjoyed) due to the very high prices, and subpar experience.

This was our first experience at Sabre Lanes. I will start off by saying that the staff members were very polite and helpful. I will give them a 4 star. The building itself is a typical bowling alley, brightly lit but boring overall. Not a big deal. I'll give it a 3 star. Here's where it goes downhill. Half of the games we played weren't functioning properly, so we lost several points on our game cards for nothing. I also wasn't made aware of the prize points that go onto the card and turned my card back in without getting to use the points. No big deal as it's just junk. But I would have grabbed stuff for my grandkids. I'll give the games a 1 star. We were mainly there to bowl. One of us used a house ball. The rest brought our arsenal of medium to high quality bowling balls (no spares, thinking we wouldn't need them). The one throwing a house ball easily won all 3 games. Why? Because there wasn't a single drop of oil on the lane! We couldn't believe it. We kept checking our balls, convinced that at least one of us would see some kind of flare pattern. NOPE! I ran my fingers across the lane. NOPE! And our scores were so low it was beyond ridiculous. Kinda hard when every ball we tried would hook hard into the gutters. Balls need oil to perform. So, it was a complete waste of money and time as we drove 2 hours to try this place out for Father's Day. Also, the tables looked clean but felt sticky, and the carpets are in desperate need of a deep cleaning. So, the lanes get... well, I'll be generous and give them 1 star. I believe that Sabre Lanes could really be a great facility with more care and perhaps a better company to own and operate it.

We have been coming to Sabre for years. The previous owner was great. Now the prices of bowling, food, and drinks have doubled. Almost $34 for a combo basket and almost $7 for one game of bowling. Also when I buy a beer I now get nickles and pennies for change. The staff is still great. The chef and bartenders are very helpful and friendly but we will be going somewhere more affordable from now on.
We came here again out of convenience and found that the food prices have come down. Only $28 for the combo basket now. Bowling is still outrageous. Also ordered a pitcher of spotted cow beer and found out when I paid my tab it was $19. That is by far the most I have ever paid for a pitcher. I guess bottle beer is the way to go here. Will still be avoiding this place.

I love this place! Not only do they have great snacking food, but the customer service is phenomenal. My favs as far as food goes is the pretzel bites, pizza, seasoned truffle fries, and wings. I got to meet the general manager, I think his name is Mike, he is so nice and was actually walking around checking on guest and I even saw him cooking in the kitchen when we were there last time! And I think the other manager’s name starts with an E or an I, she is great also. All the people that I’ve encountered at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Keep doing what you’re doing! But I still recommend going and bowling while you're there he sure to try their pizza. You won't regret it!

Nice family place to shoot a few games. I recommend Groupon because the prices are a bit high per game. Nice arcade in case some don’t want to bowl. Very empty for a Saturday but it was beautiful outside so I can see why. Could use a little updating where there’s missing paint on the front desk and some areas of the place are worn out. They had some fun bowling games on the score table. We made monsters buy how many pins you knock down and shot cannonballs at castles to knock them down. The lanes were a bit problematic. It took a while for the pins to reset and sometimes pins would fall before you threw the ball. Overall a nice time out with the family.

Dropped $60 for three of us to play two games of bowling, which already had me raising my eyebrows. Decided to soften the blow with some food - a pizza and pitcher of soda for $30 felt steep, but the real surprise came when we wanted more soda. Turns out, they don’t do refills on pitchers (even for purchase), and they wanted us to pay $4.50 for each cup of soda instead. Really?

Finding a bowling ball felt like a scavenger hunt, with us hopping from lane to lane just to find one that suited. And our lane? Oh, where do I start - the scoring screen was on the fritz, the pinsetter bar had a mind of its own, and the carpet near the bar area looked like it was plotting its escape. We should have known going it that it was going to be a bad experience. You'd think the place had been forgotten for 20 years, judging by the awning. All in all, not the outing we’d hoped for. Safe to say, we won’t be back.

Where do I even start. First thing we noticed when we walked in was that it smelled like gas. Apparently, they didn’t know why but was “taking care” of it. 1 game for 6kids was $78. Sample platter was alright. Fries were cold and they didn’t offer to make us fresh ones when mentioned. They blamed it on the room temperature oil they just put in the fryer. Arcade prizes were very limited and leaned towards girls. One thing we got was 200 tickets and didn’t light up/work. Also, don’t look up- ceiling tiles are trashy and feels like the building will collapse any second. One positive thing, employees were kind. We started coming here 2 years ago. We would go once a week. Loved it. At some point they were bought out. They fired the amazing people and increased prices. We stopped going and then decided to give it another chance month ago with a large party. The food prices had increased by 3x. Last night we decided to go one more time. They took out the original bowling deals, the cashier indicated due to lack of people coming in...it was 90 dollars just for bowling for our small family to play a couple of games. Unfortunately rising prices doesn't make people want to go.price increases are normal but I believe it's went to corporates head. I recommend shopping around or finding a different outting...nothing there is worth the price

Update- we gave it yet another shot, due to wanting to bowl.honestly, it's even worse. We tried Rolling thunder and I can honestly say the experience was affordable and the staff was amazing. We eill be having our work functions and family nights there moving forward...I wanted to share before others go through the sabre experience

Nice place prices are a bit high but that's what happens when a corporation buys up everything . Food wasn't bad though.

First place, I have ever been to be charged for my drinks before I was served them. Bowling for 6 people, 2 games =$120.00 * 4.99 for a michelob. 22.00 for a meh pizza. Haha thanks but no thanks !girlypop

Wow! A group of 7 of us went bowling today. The tv screen upon entering says 7.99 per game. Then you have the cost of shoes. We bowled 2 games. We were there about an hour and a half. Our bill was over 200.00!! We did not know that the 7.99 was per person, per game. Yikes. We will not be going there again. Then they must have just varnished all of the wood so 2 people in my group ended up having their shirts ruined. No signs about wet varnish anywhere . We did ask a manager to explain the bill to us and she was very nice in telling us that the bill was correct and gave us coupons for 7 people X 1 game but still cannot get over the price!

Cute bowling alley but the prices are ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS. $7.99 PER PERSON, PER GAME, PLUS an extra 7 dollars for shoes. When playing multiple games, you have to pay the fee shoes FOR EVERY GAME. How do you expect someone to pay the same fee for shoes over and over again when you're not even changing shoes? This would have been good to know beforehand. The manager and staff are very nice, but will not be coming back to blow an entire paycheck for ONE hour of bowling for the family.

I always loved going to Sabre Lanes they're very reasonable with food and drink prices. Recently I went and their menu has changed seems like their prices doubled. The pretzel sticks with cheese dip was definitely the bomb though and we still had a fun time.

Gotta love a good night bowling, but if it's busy, be ready to play with an uncomfortable ball. if they took over Super Bowl, they need to bring back galactic bowling.

The upgrades at the alley are awesome and the food is great!
The wait times at the bar to order drinks and food is a bit long - but the service is great nonetheless! Seems like it’s still going thru a transition period & can’t wait to see how it progresses!

Went on a Saturday night. Had some open lanes. Didn’t have a reservation. Told me it would be a 45min to an hour wait. Prices are crazy. $7.99 per game $5.69 for shoe rental. Save your money. Go to Thunder Lanes in Neenah.
