Our dinner plans fell through the other nights, so we opted to try Saint Bibiana, especially because of the reputation the burger gets as on of Milwaukee's best. We sat at the bar and the bartender was incredibly attentive. We would come again just to be served by her again (sadly I cannot recall her name - she was one of two girls working on Friday night). We started with the fried pickles. The buffalo ranch was outstanding and had a decent kick, but the pickles were merely so so. The pickles were sliced a little too thin, causing the pickles to be hard. The burgers were amazing though! My husband had the beef and I swapped out for the garden patty. Firstly, they don't upcharge to swap out for their garden patty, which was refreshing (beef makes me sick, so while I'm not a vegetarian per se, I do not eat a lot of meat for health reasons). We loved the pickles and onions, the buns were super soft and the burgers were cooked to perfection! The fries were so good we kept nibbling at them despite being so full! We ordered a side of ranch to dip the fries in and you can tell this was a homemade ranch that has the full flavor versus something bought from Sysco or wherever that tastes like plastic. And the prices were decent for how much food we got! Overall we will definitely be back the next time we're looking for a burger fix!

The food is absolutely amazing but to be honest it's some of the worst service I have ever experienced. If you want to be completely ignored but eat an amazing meal... this is the place. I highly suggest just ordering online and picking up or you will wait at least 20 minutes ( with it not being busy at all) with no acknowledgement at all. I ordered over the phone and the bartender that answered tried to over charge me a few bucks not knowing i was looking at the menu on my phone. I finally made it to try their food, and it was not disappointing at all. First, we went on a Friday afternoon which is an awesome time to go if you can. It was not busy at all, and the service was quite top tier to me. The gentleman behind the bar greeted us, took our order and was quite attentive to us. I really liked him! The food was good. heard abt the smash burger, so we wanted to try it. The burger was overly salty. Less salt, it would have been great. It was so salty, we couldn't eat. My relative had the chicken and that was good. Seasoned and crispy.
We experienced a person hanging out near the bar area that clearly was not there to eat or drink. It made guests uncomfortable and no one addressed it. So, the group was with was ready to go.

Went here for a late breakfast one morning on vacation. The place was almost empty and service was very prompt. We both enjoyed our food a lot, I had the Basic B and the hash browns were crispy and delicious. My partner had the Saint Benedict and loved it. However, the music was so loud it felt like we had to shout to hear each other at a small table. The lighting was also blue/purple, which I'm sure would be great for nighttime at the bar, but wasn't great for starting the day.

Well I was enjoying myself on Dec 8, and dancing on the top floor, nothing unusual. Then I went to the bar and asked for two titos and soda, one for me and one for my lady. I was dressed to the nines in my finest attire, the suit was pressed, the tie was clipped. I handed the young man a single crisp 50 dollar bill, which I pulled swiftly out of my wallet, choosing from one of many of the 50's in my wallet. He took my 50 dollar bill and began to pour two drinks, which consisted of 98% soda and 2% titos. He handed me my change, I looked down at the amount he gave me. Two single dollars is what I received. Now I'm no mathematician, but I believe 24 dollars for a single titos and soda is absurd...unimaginable....outright theft. I grinned, knowing what this thief was trying to do. "I gave you a fifty" I proclaimed. He said nothing and shuffled to the register, he gave me another 40 dollars, not apologizing, not admitting fault. I may have said some choice words after this encounter, to which he pretended I did not. He merely tried to ignore me, hoping I would not press the situation further. I found it quite amusing that this little boy tried to pull a stunt that only a fool would fall for. To other patrons of this bar, I hope that you enjoy yourself. But I urge you to be wary of the shrimp on the second floor, who tries to con you out of money and buys shots for any girl in a mini skirt who shows the slightest interest in him.

The Saint Benedict was somewhat of a disaster. The hollandaise sauce was runny and thin, thoroughly soaking into the biscuit making it soggy and unappetizing. The egg was also way overcooked; the overall dish was unpleasant and not executed well.

The Beelzebub BLT - like most BLTs really - had good flavor. The giardiniera was a nice addition, although chunky to the point where half of it fell out. The bread was wimpy and had trouble holding the sandwich together, but the taste was decent, regardless.

It took around an hour or more for the food to come out after ordering, which was surprising considering things were relatively dead inside. Service was accommodating and understanding of the rare send-back (of the Benedict), and they took it off the bill.

Anecdotally, I've heard the burger is very good. Unfortunately, whether an off day or otherwise, there was enough wrong in execution and timeliness that I'll likely not be back to try it anytime soon.

We walked in and sat at the bar, which hadn’t been wiped down. We ordered two mimosas which were promptly forgotten about. Food came out quickly, but was inedible. Got the Benedict and the basic breakfast, and neither of them were good. Chicken on the Benedict had a terrible texture, there was no hollandaise sauce - just the already broken egg yolks from my poached eggs (which were still runny on the inside). Also served on an English muffin and not the promised fresh baked biscuit. Basic breakfast had undercooked bacon and scrambled eggs that were griddle scrambled on a dirty griddle (way over cooked). The only edible thing on either plate was the toast. You know the service is bad when there is a window table that went un-bussed the entire time we were there. Honestly, the place comes off as another dry hipster ordeal in a city full of them, but holy bazookas Batman the food is next level. Lots of Brady street spots serving ok to slightly above average food that's severely upcharged, but this spot takes intentional care to elevate the food and the prices are actually reasonable (12 bucks for an incredibly well made chicken sandwich with fries included, can't beat that deal without dropping the quality). Ive had the burger, very solid classic American with flavors and temp on point, buffalo chicken sandwich is unique and honestly probably the best I've had since I've moved up here years ago, and the way they do their fries is my all time favorite way (lightly battered, crispy outside, soft inside). Portions are perfect, not too much but not too little. Their beer selection is just ok for an 8 tap but nothing particularly mind blowing, they do have a relatively small but very eclectic liquor selection so there's certainly some worthy unique choices (Tingala is an experience). The atmosphere is pretty lowkey once you're in it, they keep it dark which is nice for my dive bar rat eyes, but since its so lowkey it is just a little forgettable. Staff have always been attentive and friendly, haven't had any complaints so far. Feels like the perfect middleground between a dive and a boujee downtown affair. And again, cannot stress this enough, the food is surprisingly higher quality than you'd assume. Highly recommend giving it a go more than a few times. My only real complaint is that I wish they'd keep their taps rotating rather than semi-permanent but thats a me issue. Overall the spot is certainly worth your time and once you try the food you'll def come back for it again.

We visited for a second time and my reaction is not as pleasant as my first visit. While the cheeseburgers and fries are tasty, many other things are lacking. For one, it feels dirty in there; uncared for. Secondly, the women’s bathroom is practically dark…like almost no light at all aside from a couple of red lights?? Unsafe, creepy, no thanks. My Whiskey sour was watered down and flat. Tasted like old ice. Lastly , our server was only okay. Not super welcoming and when she dropped a knife while clearing our plates, she literally kicked it (continuously) through the restaurant to the bar. After we left, I felt grossed out and wondered if the food was even safe…I thankfully did not get sick.

Interesting place, but the service was severely lacking. I’m pretty sure our server had some type of cognitive impairment (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you can still do your job) He mostly ignored us, and then got two of the four orders wrong. I asked him for sample of beer, and he brought me a full pint of a completely different beer. I just drank it, so as to not upset my wife. The appetizer plate was good, but my fried chicken sandwich was not. The chicken breast was very dark (burnt) and dry and tough. Overall, this was a disappointing experience for us.

I have been living near Brady Street for 12 years and have been waiting for a good burger joint. This isn't just a good burger, it's honestly one of the best burgers I've had! Really a bad experience all around. 7 of us went there for dinner for my daughter's birthday. Place was not busy at all. AFTER most of the food comes out, and 15 minutes after the order, they tell my wife they don't have tortilla shells so she needs to order something else. My mother in law was still waiting for her food. After my wife gets her replacement option we ask about the order for my mother in law since she had not received it yet. They forgot to make it. The server apologized up and down and said they were going to take a bunch off our bill. Then she sort of disappeared like it was just too much to deal with. When bill came it was messed up. They had to run it again. Nothing was taken off. Was happy to be done so we left without saying anything. Later found out we were charged twice. Had to contact my credit card to fix it. I don't think anything was intentional but what a pain!! Food was fine. Better burgers to be had in Milwaukee though.

Stopped in here with some friends for a burger which I was told was one of the best. Damn are they good. This is the best way I can sell it to: my friend who is mainly vegetarian will make an exception for Bibs’s burger. It’s that good.

First thing I noticed was how tender the patties are. It’s a no frills burger—no fancy sauces or ridiculous amount of toppings. They keep it simple and do it well.

Their fried pickles are some of the crispiest and best I’ve had. They looked a little undercooked/pale when they came to the table but that changed once I bit into one. They’re not soggy like you’d get at most other places.

The service was great too. Our server/bartender was really friendly and talked with us throughout. She recommended Tingara which was new to all of us. It’s a very interesting shot but definitely worth trying! Just beware of the tingle on your tongue after.

A friend and I came into Saint Bibiana for Lunch. Brett was behind the bar and was super attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable! We split the pretzel bites with Spotted Cow beer cheese and were both pleasantly surprised at how light and crispy they were! I had the Ooey Gooey Brie Grilled Cheese and my friend had the Buffalo Chx Sandwich. No notes, a phenomenal step above typical bar food with delicious enhancements like celery jalapeño slaw and giardiniera. I already can’t wait to come back. Ok, I don't even know where to begin explaining how great this place is. Seriously, my review doesn't even feature photos because I was so excited by my food I couldn't be bothered to waste time taking IG photos of my plate. The food was absolutely killer. The ambiance and atmosphere was just right. This is some of the best food I've had in a while. Let the lack of pictures be a testimony to how wonderful this place was. I dare you to have time to take out your phone here.

I had to visit after hearing good things from several people. This is a very well balanced smash burger. Order as is or with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg. I ate there during business hours; the bar counter feels pleasant. Spacious and cozy.

Place had such a lit vibe for new years, been coming here for the last year always a great time and ALWAYS a great staff. Helped break up a fight and one of the dudes got his blood all over me, one of the bartenders upstairs literally gave me the shirt off his back so I didn’t have to spend rest of night partying with some dudes blood on my shirt. Absolutely amazing, will always come back now 🙏🙏

This place is one of the only bars i enjoy stepping out into in MKE. The drinks are great. The staff is super friendly and personable and makes small talk regardless whose sitting accross the counter. The music is good always. And the vibes are always good. 🤙 rarely do i give 5 star reviews so this place really feels like a second home.

Love! If your looking for a good place to eat sit relax and maybe enjoy a drink stop here! My boyfriend got the bibiana burger and I got thing #2 chicken sandwich and we loved it! The fried pickles were amazing! Waitress/bartender was so friendly. Will definitely be back when we visit again.

Place is garbage. Terrible venue and bad music. It’s just a terrible spot locals hate and want out of the neighborhood. Can’t say enough and things about the music, food, or drinks they make. Go anywhere else on Brady but here if you want to have a good time!!

We stood at the bar for almost ten minutes with a 20 dollar bill on the bar, trying to make eye contact with a bartender. We finally did make eye contact and then the bartender saw his friend and blew right past us like we didn't just make eye contact and nod at each other. I wouldn't recommended this place to anyone and will never be back. Disrespectful bartenders is no way to run a business.

We thought we would love the food but we were wrong! Their cook Katherine is the slowest most disorderly "cook" I've ever seen and her demeanor when we asked to have our food corrected was so unprofessional we almost up and left at that moment. If we could give it zero stars solely based on her we would. We've lived and dined in Milwaukee all of our lives and we'd expect more from a Brady street restaurant. She completely ignored the few specifics we asked for and her food tasted bland and microwaved. Get a new chef and this place could be wonderful! The menu sounds amazing and the atmosphere is divine!

We went for a Sunday brunch and the place was moderately full. We ordered a couple of mimosa and fried pickles. For entrees we ordered two burgers- Bibiana burger and the thing 1 burger. Both of them were really good but we loved the Bibiana burger more. It was cooked fresh. Even the fries that accompanied the burger were perfectly seasoned. The pocket pinch for two was 34$ for us. Will recommend this place for burgers!!
