Honestly, some of the best pizza I’ve had in the Sussex area. Reasonably priced, as in, you pay literally nothing for quality pizza, the Tuesday special is perfect for my large family and even outside of specials, it’s reasonable. The pizza, food, and atmosphere remind me of my hometown pizza joint and I’d pick Sals over any chain or franchise in the area. They welcome you by name, you don’t get that a lot nowadays so it’s refreshing and genuine. Sausage, Onion, hot giardiniera. Carrots belong in giardiniera by the way.

Always good. I’ve ordered a handful of times and it’s always been consistent, and delicious! Recently I asked if they can make a stuffed crust (not on the menu) and they made a custom stuffed crust and I WAS FANTASTIC! A Sussex staple!

I had a graduation party that was catered by Sal’s and I cannot say enough good things about this place! The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are so friendly. On the day of my party, Sal himself helped deliver the food and set it up! The food was delicious, and all of the guests were raving about it! We had the fettuccini alfredo, cheese ravioli, spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, fried chicken, and tossed salad. I highly recommend Sal’s!!

Ordered a cheese, sausage, mushroom, and onion thin crust pizza. Everything about the pizza was delicious with the exception of the tomato sauce. It was tasteless. Such a shame because it was so close to being excellent. We will try again one more time. If it’s still the same we will not be back.

We live in Brookfield and have ordered from Sals for a while now! Best tacos around - they are not skimpy on the meat and the flavor is amazing - we’ve ordered steak and chicken. They also have the best pizza - my husband loves the meat lovers which is loaded with tons of meat you would not believe the ham slices! The pizza and tacos were delivered hot! Oh the ceasar salad and refried beans were good too! Highly recommend!

The pizza was okay. I don’t know if it was worth $70 for two pizzas and two sides, but it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had. The biggest problem was that the paper the garlic bread was wrapped in completely fused to the cheese to the point where it couldn’t be pulled off and that made the garlic bread inedible. We had to throw it away. I really wanted to like this place but the quality just wasn’t there.

Got the Chicago style stuffed pizza 18". Thing was huge and heavy. I can eat two or three Dominos 12 inches in a sitting but just 2 pieces of this was filling. Pretty good. Liked the sauce. However the crust was plain. A bit of garlic butter spread over it or dipping sauce would've been nice.

Sal’s was our go-to place to order pizza when we lived in Waukesha so we were very excited to see them now in Sussex too! Ordered carry out the other night and the pizza was as amazing as ever. They do seem to be going thru some growing pains of having the new location open but I feel like those will iron themselves out over time.

Your pizza very likely won’t be ready when they say it will, so plan to hang out and wait for like 10-20 minutes, which is unfortunate.

Second time around our pizza was ready when I got there but none of our sides so I sat for 20 minutes while our pizza got cold waiting for breadsticks and chicken tenders. I hope they improve over time because it’s been wonky both times we ordered carry out from this location, unfortunately.

Called in order at 4:50 on Friday night. Ordered a mountain pizza and it was huge, a medium pizza, cheese pizza and 6 wings. 6pm and order was still not ready.finally 5 minutes later the food was done. Pizza was ok and grandson said wings were good. They were very busy with people picking up food.When I called in the order they said 45 minutes. Got there at 5:30 and had to wait around another 35 minutes

It’s a hole in the wall you’d think you’d get that super good pizza, but looks are deceiving. Ordered a pan crust pizza and it was super dry and lacking flavor. The place would have saved money just putting freezer burnt cheese on cardboard and sending that to the salamander. Just a bunch of melted cheese and regret. The Alfredo was equivalent to a mop head with cheese melted to it. Once again dry and lacking flavor. Cheese garlic bread was the only thing that had flavor if you like imitation butter with oregano. I don’t know what the hype is with this place, but the other 5 pizza places here are so much better. We ended up tossing the whole pizza and accepting a $45 loss.

Ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza. Lacked flavor overall. Sauce, cheese and crust. Barely any toppings. $27 for this was overall a waste of time and money. Had to go elsewhere to by another pizza. Tried calling the next morning and was told management did not come in until 4pm, so the only way to talk to them is during rush hour. Will NEVER order from here again, pizza was definitely not memorable in any good way. Could have brought a Digiorno pizza and been happier.
