We have been eating Sammy’s Pizza since it opened in 1957, my brother was the first delivery boy and came up with browning the hamburger and spreading it on the beef pizza, his name was Kenny Barrington jr. We LOVE Sammy’s Pizza and go there every week or two. It is the best Pizza we have ever had. SAMMY’S PIZZA is number 1.

I have enjoyed Sammy's pizza for many years. Their pizza has a wonderful cracker crust with a tangy tomato sauce that makes you want to just keep eating. They cut the pizza in squares and for a sausage pizza, every square contains a piece of sausage.

Fiancé’s birthday, we were very excited to try the pizza for the first time. Walked in and every customer seemed happy. When we sat down server came over and asked us immediately if we knew what we wanted three times right away and rushed us through our order after getting water.

She did have a big table and we understood so we were very patient until she gave us attitude and was very annoyed. Understood it might’ve been a bad night already from how busy it was and were willing to wait a while and give her more chances.

Gave her another chance until she didn’t check on us the entire time, no refills or check ins even after walking past us more than once, only asked us if we needed anything after we were done with our food but by then we already wanted to leave. Wouldn’t recommend Brittany (our server) but would recommend the server with the purple hair, she seemed nice to her tables.

After trying there breaded chicken a few weeks ago we decided to go back to see if it was just a great cooking night for the cook or was this a consistent thing. Because sometimes food be good at places then another time it falls short. Never saying that Sammy’s does but when trying something new we wanted to try again being the chicken was good… fried perfectly, season perfectly and the wings were nice sides. Amazing pizza as every Sammy's has. Very dim, old atmosphere though, and no pasta offerings like most other Sammy's have, which disappointed my son immensely. The cheese bread was also very different from the other Sammy's restaurants. Miss the Cumberland one, but so far the best that is left is Grand Rapids or Duluth. This might be my least favorite of the Sammy's franchises.

First time at this restaurant. Ordered the House Special. I really hope this isn't their flagship. We left with a 14" pizza with three pieces out of it in a 12" pizza box and went elsewhere. This pizza is mostly (what tastes like) boiled ground beef and the rest is basically non existent ingredients and barely melted cheese on top. At this point, I'm fairly convinced that the box would've had more flavor. $27 for this thing by the way. Beware. This isn't even the 16". Service was decent, food awful. Hopefully the dog will eat it.

One of the better pizzas in Eau Claire. Thinner crust with just the right amount of toppings and sauce. Highly recommend if you like thin crust, but they will also do a double crust upon request. Great broasted chicken. Don't order the Chicken Cordon Bleu pizza if you are expecting one with Alfredo Sauce. This one has red sauce and is topped with cheddar cheese and is not good.

Worst place I have been so far, overheard a past employee talking about how the owner doesn't care about his employees and I can see why he would say it. Went in for a pepperoni and sausage with extra cheese. Didn't see any extra cheese at all and the sausage balls were smaller than a dime. The server barely talked to us and when we asked a question she looked at us like we were dumb and rolled her eyes. Maybe pay your good employees better and get rid of the ones that just stand around and roll their eyes at your customers. Won't be back until things change.

(Edit due to owner responding)You can't say the topping get embedded into the topping when you ask for extra cheese and you can see the sauce through the cheese. How to the sausage get lost when u put them on top and the size of a dime. Waste of time and we won't be back anytime soon. Hopefully you fire your server. If she doesn't want to be there then don't be there but to take it out on a customer and is ridiculous. Hopefully kristen leaves before we ever come back. Have a good rest of your day tho.

I am from out of town and we orderd a 14" pizza with pepperoni, onion, and sausage...if it had over 7 pepperonis that would have been nice, and 1/4 of a handful of chopped onion , at least it had sausage. By far the worst pizza I have had and on top of it it was $30...with a tip ..what a rip-off! In defense it had plenty of grease!

I've been contemplating for a month or so if I should give a bad review but I think I feel the need to now. My husband usually orders the chicken alfredo pizza for us. It's was a favorite. Recently though it has not been. I don't know if you changed the chicken that you put on it from just chicken breast to other parts but the last few pizzas we had were not great. The last two in particular were awful! Both of them had bone pieces in the chicken and the last one wast particularly bad. I took out four different pieces of bone out of my mouth, threw the rest of the pizza away and said never again. Yuck!

We absolutely LOVE the broasted chicken. The pizza is also really good but we love to go for the chicken. 😁
Salad bar is also great, especially for the price. I'm not sure if it's priced differently for carryout but at either price, it's a deal! (Was about $5/one trip or $7/AUCE, I believe.) I need to keep this in mind as I would much rather have a salad for lunch than most quick lunch options in the city.
Sammy's also has decent specials.

My biggest complaint was the amount of toppings. Ordered a crew/Hawaiian pizza. The crew only had 4 small mushrooms and the Hawaiian had maybe 3 small pieces of ham. The sauce tasted…I don’t know, funny? Like it’s been sitting in the fridge for a while.
The only good thing was the service, very nice waitress.

My family has been getting pizza since we lived near the location in Winona. It was such a yummy treat! Now we live in Eau Claire and the pizza USED to be good, but it’s wildly inconsistent. Some nights it’s fabulous, other nights disappointing. Like barely any cheese, or on the house special, not much ground beef, or worse, a deluge of green peppers! Sometimes the dough seems tough, like it’s been overworked. We’ll keep coming because when it’s good, it’s SO GOOD, but the last year we’ve been having more disappointing experiences than good ones.

1st time trying Sammy's after it was highly recommended. Lots of toppings and a perfect cook on this thin crust pie. Sauce was fantastic. Arrived within a couple of minutes of communicated delivery time and was decently hot. Cheese curds were fire, absolutely delicious. Lost a star for the cost and cut. $53USD for one pizza, cheese curds, pop and tip. Pizza wasnt cut all the way through and was square cut.
