Visiting the area and stopped here for breakfast. Our waitress was super sweet.. food was very good! We were searching for a place for breakfast on our way through town and came upon this little gem. Delicious home style breakfast, awesome service. The restaurant is a bit dated and worn, but does not detect from the great food and service. It was somewhat noisy with the din of conversation and was quite busy when we got there. However, there was no wait and the food came quickly.

Amazing food, excellent service, and the prices can’t be beat! We went on a day that was hot and their air conditioning was on the fritz 🥵 the attitude of everyone that works there was still upbeat and happy to see you. One woman was training a new girl and she had kindness, patience, and the willingness to teach even on a busy, difficult day! They know their regulars orders by heart and just how they like everything and it made us wish we could come back everyday.

Visited on a trip through Ashland last fall. We had the 'Everything Skillet', biscuits and gravy, and corned beef hash. Each of these was phenomenal. Service was great. Really made a nice start to the day. The wife and I love to try 'mom and pop' places when we travel. We were just discussing the best and worst places we'd been, and this one came up in the top 3 breakfast joints we'd experienced. It occurred to me I should have left a review about our experience, so here it is.

What a great little spot. I had the corn beef hash and eggs with the jalapeño cheese curds “ sooo good”
The best part is the staff though. Their personalities were so great and I would go back just for that.

The food was good , corned beef was basic and I wish they made their own.

Sandy Shores is a great small town independently owned restaurant. The food is awesome. The waitresses are busy as hummingbirds and can be very entertaining. I've never had a meal here I didn't like. If you're hungry, Sandy Shores is the place to eat.

What a cool find! I was staying across the street so walked over here for breakfast. I got the 1x1x1 and coffee. The waitress was upbeat and funny and have me some great suggestions on places to visit in town. I felt a bit awkward going out to eat alone, but it wasn't too busy inside and I felt comfortable soon after ordering. I would definitely go here often if I didn't live 3 hours away. It was also under 10 before tip (yes, I left a good tip)! 👍🏻

I’ve been eating here the last three days straight, after just stopping in to try something different. It turns out this place is a hidden gem! The service is excellent, the food is better than anywhere else in the area, and the prices are great! I detest even giving this place one star. I can't comment on how the food tasted because the only thing my wife and I got was a cold bowl of soup after 30 minutes. I could elaborate more but this place is not worth the time we already spent waiting. I have only left one other resteraunt before I got my food. To top it off I asked to pay for just my coffee (left the cold bowl of soup on the tabke after one taste) there were no apologies and they took my $2.06 without hesitation. Will not be going back!!

Plenty of food and it tasted good. Service was a little chaotic. We got all of our food but one of the people in my party said that it was clear that their food was sitting for a while. Tables around us got their food inconsistently. The table behind us had 6+ visits from servers because of mistakes. We got our food before the table next to us despite ordering after them. That table had 3 out of 4 served but the 4th didn't get his food for at least 5 minutes after the rest.

This place has a big selection of breakfast items you can choose! It’s small and dainty but a very worth it stop to get a taste of the town and yummy food 🤤. As the place across the street has a 3 item breakfast menu(LAME). But the server’s were quick and sweet always a smile the chefs seemed nice when talking amongst each other in between table checks. The person who made the food KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING! So thank you I felt safe and right at home as a single tourist but most of all the food was absolutely amazing(better than the Ashland Family Restaurant) 🤫

I really like this place. I was looking for a place to eat at on a Friday night. Because almost everything is closed at 2:00 these days. There menu has lots of things to eat . My favorite is the grilled salmon dinner. Very, very good. I can't get enough of it. The cheese burger is good too. They are all very friendly and seems to care about you and what you want to eat. The waitresses were so friendly and my husband, 1 year old, and I all loved what we ordered (crispy chicken wrap, broccoli cheese soup, chili with cheese and onions, and hot beef sandwich dinner). What I especially loved was how we were treated though. The 2 girls serving food were working hard, kept refilling my coffee without me having to ask, and played around with my 1 year old daughter, making faces at her and talking to her making her laugh and smile the whole time we were there. This place will be our new go to when we are visiting the area.
