What a gem in Mequon area. Santorini grill brings back memories of the Greek island itself to life. The Greek spaghetti is so succulent and delicious that you want to go back for more. We tried the fried eggplant appetizer and it was out of this world. And of course the golden measure for each Greek restaurant is the gyro and in this case it was not just good gyro, it was great, well seasoned and nicely garnished. Highly recommended.

hi! just wanted to reach out. spent a good amount on my meal. I was very disappointed. especially the spanakopita. it tasted old, sour, soggy, and burnt best way to describe the smell was like you left the clothes in the wash without drying for a few days.... i felt the gyro could have been more fresh. I thought they were supposed to come with cucumber? Anyways that's just my preference. I suppose... All the food was cold. I left a message to let them know on messenger... didn't hear back. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Delicious surprise in Mequon! Husband and I shared the Village salad, but took most of it home, it was so large we each had a souvlaki with pita bread and my husband had the Greek baked potatoes while I had the Greek fries. Everything was excellent! Talked for a long time with one of the owners about our travels to Santorini and she shared a sample of wine from Santorini with us. My husband was happy to find Mythos beer!!

Ordered a gyro sandwich with fries at 12:30pm on a Tuesday. My food came out about 2-3 minutes after placing the order and everything was piping hot so I know it was made to order. The portions were huge. Large amount of fries and the gyro sandwich was loaded with meat. The fries were high quality and tasted great. The gyro sandwich was the same. The meat was seasoned well and the sandwich was appropriately loaded with fresh onions and tomatoes. I paid about $13 for the meal and feel like I received incredible value for what I paid. You could probably make two meals out of the portions. This will be my go-to spot for lunch when I'm working in the area. I highly recommend.

Starting with the good, the portion sizes and price are reasonable, service is fast and friendly. However, somewhat disappointing flavors. Their feta was bland, lacking the pungent aroma and flavor I expect from this cheese. The tzatziki didn't have the freshness from herbs that you'd normally expect. The Greek Style Chicken breast entree that is served with Greek potatoes, warm pita bread, and a small Greek salad was awesome! I would highly recommend stopping into the Mequon City Market for lunch or dinner. The entree was also served w/ feta cheese, Kalamata olives and pepperoncini! Awesome food!

Ordered via door dash. Ordered gyros and they were nothing compared to most other restaurants. Usually the pitas are overfilled but not here. You could wrap the entire pita around the meat and eat nothing but pita. The tzatziki sauce was very sour and I couldn't stomach it. The fries were decent. In all honesty I would not go back.

Mequon market has a couple nice options and Santorini grill was a good choice amongst the rest, had a gyro with spanikopita and some type of rice, but according to my Greek partner the rice wasn't made the traditional way with a type of sauce so I was let down in that department, otherwise it's good portions of everything and if Greek food is your thing then it's right up your alley.

The Souvlaki was very over-seasoned and full of unchewable gristle, clearly not slow cooked. I was only able to eat about half the meat that was in it and the rest was unchewable. The tzatziki was completely flavorless. I tried it on the fries in case the over-seasoned meat was throwing off my taste buds, but it was the same, added nothing whatsoever to the experience

The food was pretty good....I found the gyro a little strange since it was made of shreds of gyro meat (never saw that before) but the taste was good. The low rating comes from the rude counter staff. Our order was taken by a young woman who was literally one of the most disengaged workers I've ever seen. Very disrespectful! I love this place. The food is so good (salads with salmon are amazing and egg lemon soup is 10/10) and the owner is GOLD. It’s -40 degrees, the day before Christmas, and I arrived 10 minutes before he opened and asked if they were ready to take orders. His response: “are you hungry? I’ll feed you!” With a big smile on his face the whole time. We come here every time we are back in Wisconsin and just love it.

So, this was my first time here. Once I seen the Greek potatoes, I had to have them.

Order the gyro plate with Greek potatoes.

The gyro itself was very good and I love the fact that they grill the pita. Gives it great texture and flavor.

Now, to the potatoes.... I was very disappointed in these. ( not like I'm gonna complain to a Greek person about their potatoes) but I've had Greek potatoes before.. my grandmother used to make them. These were too lemony... Lemon should be a component of these potatoes but with these the lemon is pretty much the start. It makes these potatoes to sour.

We got a gyro platter, a pork souvlaki platter and a large Greek salad. The food was just not good. Souvlaki had a strange seasoning and was way over cooked and dry. Tatziki is bland and the salad dressing tasted watery and tasteless. So sad because the ingredients here are really super fresh but what a waste if you cannot execute the taste.

It pains me to say this, but due to the lack of response, care and respect that I received after getting food poisoning from the grilled octopus, I cannot recommend Santorini grill.
I was sick all throughout the night and into the morning. I notified them before they opened the next day. Said the octopus was a lot chewier than normal and one bite tasted off. Response was more or less, “thanks, we’ll talk to the staff and investigate.”
No apology and never heard back.
I wrote back a few days later for a follow up, but that message was ignored.
Extremely disappointed to write this because we have always enjoyed their food and would regularly order carry out at least twice a month. Tried to communicate, but customer health must not be of the utmost importance.

Just ate there with my husband and had a wonderful time. Hubby got the chicken souvlaki (I apologize if my spelling is off) and I had the Filet Mignon souvlaki. Their spanakopita was more like a spinach grilled cheese sandwich. I'm positive Athena, the goddess of reason & wisdom, cried a little with the knowledge there are a group of people in Wisconsin that now believe this is what spanakopita taste like. Real spanakopita is not fried on a grill, it contains more spinach than cheese, and is wrapped in fluffy filo/phyllo dough. I gave them 2 stars, because both the service and the feta/olive garnishment was good.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered from here for lunch and had their gyro platter. The meat was perfect! With a touch of crisp to it that I love that very few Greek restaurants achieve. They are definitely taking their time here to assure the meat is done to perfection. The salad had just the right amount of dressing with tomatoes that were perfectly ripe and tasted marinated. The side of potatoe wedges was also perfect, just enough seasoning and cooked where they still had a bit of texture. The rice was ok, somewhat bland but make a great pallet cleanser between bites of the other parts of the meal. I won't knock any stars for it.

Fantastic food and excellent service! I am Greek and grew up on Greek food. The avgolemono soup was some of the best I have tasted. Greek salad was excellent with lite dressing and warm pita bread. Three of us all tried different entree and all were wonderful- gyro, spanakopita, pork souvlaki and Greek potatoes. Order at counter and they bring to you. Very cute place with tables to eat- very much enjoyed! The loukomades and baklava were a sweet finish. We will definitely be back!

Just had lunch at the counter here. Fantastic service, and very friendly staff. Food was hot, plentiful, fast, and very delicious.
I had been here once before on the day they had opened. I ordered (3) gyro sandwiches to go that time. After a 15 min. drive back to the office, I was not impressed. Sitting in a plastic clamshell for that long leads to the fries getting steamed, and the food cooling down.
I'm glad that I gave this place another try. I decided to eat there, and was amazed at the difference. Again I ordered a gyro sandwich, fries, and a Coke. They gave me more food than I could eat! The meat was hot, and perfectly cooked. The pita was better than anything I'd had at Spartan or Sammy's (when they were still open), or Oakland or that place down by Bayshore. Very good. There was a lot of tomatoes, and just enough onion. The Tzatziki was very fresh and delicious. French fries were very hot, and they even gave me a complimentary extra sauce and refill on my Coke. I will be back!

Very surprised by the value you get at this place vs anywhere else at Spur 16. The prices are good and competitive. The food comes out pretty quick. The Greek themed counter restaurant is located in the Mequon Public Market. It has a few tables. I ordered a combo with gyro, spanakopita and a chicken kabob and a side of delicious Greek oven roasted potato slices. My wife had a chicken breast. The food was excellent. I was surprised at the cheese and spice dusted potatoes in an olive oil or butter sauce. The gyro was all I could expect and the Spana was crispy filo dough stuffed with spinach and cheese. The kabob was good and I rubbed it in the potato sauce for more flavor. The baklava was also authentic and honey filled. I only wish the clerk had described the dishes better. I would have raved about the potatoes and the combo plate. They need to sell their food and tempt people to try it. I also had a tasty lemon based soup called avgolemono, with egg lemon rice in a solid base. It is in a nice spot across from a flower shop. Well worth a stop for quality food!
