Our waiter was one of the best I've had at a restaurant in the area and the seating was comfortable, even though we had a large party.
However the food was at the very best unsatisfactory. Several menu items ordered at the table came with extras on them not listed in descriptions. I got a menu special of the day, a breakfast skillet. My eggs were crispy and my potatoes were hard and felt very undercooked. I regret not sending my food back.
Another shining spot, the coffee was some of the best I've had.
I may be back for another beverage but will skip the food

Noisy place, with friendly, well spoken, informative, if a little fast-speaking, staff 🤣
I gave a lower rating because they served grilled bread, not toast, and DEEP FRIED American potatoes in my skillet, I mean, that's QSR stuff, give me a break.
I left convinced that they are still learning their craft.
The seasoning(?) was not distributed well, and the 25% of my skillet that I ate was alternating between bland, and salty.
On top of this, you will spend more than $20 per person, assuredly, but the guide will update as reviews come in.

Upscale brunch spot, serving the classics and elevated breakfast options.
The service is good, they use many local ingredients. The wait staff was helpful in explaining the menu. They have a bar, dining area, and a bakery.
The eggs Benny was delicious, but the side salad was a fantastic, refreshing bite. The cheese curds were lightly breaded and came with aioli to dip them in, which went well together.
They have a display featuring some really fancy baked goods, definitely check it out for a treat on your way out, or grab a cup of coffee and a treat.

SAP is hands-down one of the best brunch spots in Appleton! Everything on the menu is creative, fresh, and made with high-quality ingredients. I love how they take classic brunch favorites and give them a fun, elevated twist. The lemon ricotta pancakes are heavenly, and the savory dishes like the hash or eggs benedict are always on point.
The atmosphere is bright, stylish, and welcoming, with a great mix of cozy and modern. The bakery case is also hard to resist —don’t leave without grabbing a treat (or two) to go! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is consistently great. SAP is the perfect brunch destination whether you’re catching up with friends or just treating yourself.

Restaurant was packed tight, for good reason; food is delicious and locally sourced but, it’s pretty loud in the dining area. Liz was the best waitress EVER! friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable 🙂Carrot ginger juice was perfect! We sat at the bar for faster service, otherwise was a 45 minute wait. My only complaint is that their “system was unable to process gift cards” which was the reason I came in the first place.
Update: made a reservation this time….well worth it! Call the day before OR right when they open at 8, cuz they fill up FAST

I was so sad when my food was gone.
Hidden in this non-descript strip mall is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. We travel full-time and eat out a lot, so this is heavy praise.
I'm already planning my next trip to Wisconsin for the sole purpose of eating here again.
Husband had a daily special of Braised Short Rib Benedict. As Award-Winning chefs, we can be discerning regarding short ribs, but these were perfect. All the comforting goodness of home if your childhood wanted for nothing and you were raised with a silver spoon.
I had a Beet Berry Burrata Salad. It was light and refreshing, and each flavor played perfectly with the others.
We finished our meal with a strawberry macaroon. It was baked perfectly and the jam and cream filling were delightful.
If you can only eat at one place in Appleton, make it this one.

Ahhhhhhmazing breakfast/brunch/lunch spot! The food is on point, fresh, balanced, well spruced, prepared, and presented. The staff are kind, professional, and engaging. Love their rotating fresh squeezed juices, eggs benny combos, and specials. Also a stellar bakery selection. I don’t think there is a place as good closer than MKE or Madison. Treat yourself and someone you love with a visit to SAP!

Best meal we had over a three day weekend in Appleton. Wife and I both had Bennies and they were both insanely delicious. Seriously-you would be hard pressed to find this kind of execution in any large American metro area. Every aspect of the plate was exploding with flavor. Service was fantastic- informative and attentive. We eat at a lot of restaurants and SAP is one of the best I’ve been to in years. Will be back pronto.

Discovering SAP Brunch felt like stumbling upon a culinary oasis in the desert of the ordinary. I ordered the Organic Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict, and every bite was a symphony of perfectly balanced flavors. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, melting effortlessly over a handcrafted English muffin. The poached egg, with its golden, silky yolk, crowned the dish like a brilliant gem. A velvety hollandaise sauce with a subtle citrus hint tied everything together beautifully.
The ambiance complements the culinary experience — modern yet cozy, with thoughtful decor that invites you to linger longer than expected. The staff, always smiling and attentive, adds that human touch that turns a good meal into an unforgettable moment.
Every detail at SAP feels deliberately curated — from the organic ingredients to the artistic plating. This isn’t just brunch; it’s a sensory journey. It’s the kind of place you don’t just recommend — you rave about it, remember it, and return to it.
If you’re looking for a brunch experience that breaks free from the ordinary, SAP is a hidden gem that will have you coming back again and again. 100% recommended.

At the lowest point in my life, I had nothing. I was homeless, addicted, and without direction. Then I came to The SAP Restaurant and tried their orange juice. I can’t fully explain what happened, but something in that first sip sparked a change. It was fresh, vibrant, real. It reminded me that life could be simple, good, and worth fighting for. That orange juice became my turning point. I left the streets, got clean, and started building a new life. Every time I come back, I order it as a reminder of where I was and how far I’ve come. This place – and that orange juice – saved me.

I came here twice in a week - to celebrate a breakup and then to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I had a mocha with vanilla marshmallows, smoked salmon Benedict and my daughter had a blueberry scone. The next time I had Brioche French toast.
The Saturday we were there it was very loud. I loved our waitress - she was great. The other time was a Friday morning and it was less busy and more relaxing.
But this is a gem and a wonderful place to celebrate and have a higher-end breakfast.

I feel terrible about this, but each time we come back to SAP we just aren’t impressed anymore the way we used to be. Initially we stopped coming as much because the desserts stopped being the same high level as before. I get soooo grumpy when I order eggs Benedict and the eggs are overdone, both my husband and I had overcooked eggs where the yolk was hard. You *have* to be able to get that right. The food was just super rich and it felt very salty. Was looking forward to having a nice latte or cappuccino but they no longer have that either. The service was great - but this spot is just not the upscale go-to brunch destination it used to be and I feel bad saying that.

Very home-like decor that feels inviting with friendly service from all. The acoustics aren’t great as it’s a completely open industrial ceiling and I can hear the conversations of everyone from 50 feet away. If you like the liveliness of a crowd of people chattering you’ll be okay. For me, it depends on my mood!
The food itself is solid. It’s not enough to get 5 stars, but it does scratch the itch and they are fairly creative with their offerings (for example, you may sub in duck eggs - if you haven’t tried them, please do) while remaining accessible with more traditional dishes if you don’t want to try anything too different from what you are used to.
I would definitely consider coming back to try more items from their menu.

Brought a gift card to pay for my meal. At the end of my meal when trying to pay they told me they can’t take their own gift card. Said it has something to do with their system. No signs were posted and I was never told by a server. Would not have gone if I knew I couldn’t use their own gift card. $50 that I felt trapped into paying after being denied my gift card. Felt as if I was being scammed by the business.

Alright, well, when my partner said he had a cute lil brunch spot to go to after an apt, I wasn’t gonna say no. I however; am a creature of habit and always order a BLT (without fail, rain or shine, come hell or high water), but had been swayed into ordering the crispy fish tacos and quite honestly, I can say that was a very wise decision.
The meal itself was MASSIVE, the three tacos were HUGE, the portions of fish were substantial, the slaw was delicious, a nice side of shoestring fries (not my fave but boo frickity hoo, a fries a fry) and the jalapeño vinaigrette officially has me in a chokehold that I’ll need to discuss with a therapist it was that good. I came in HUNGRY, and I left with a to-go box, so… there’s that.
Also wanted to shout out our server, who’s name I don’t remember but he worked primarily behind the bar and had some really neat bold black framed glasses that I wanted to steal for myself cause they were super cool. He was terrific, super friendly but not over bearing or annoying or anything like that. Just an all-around nice fella that s definitely in the right profession, people skills are clearly his forte!
10/10, can’t wait to come back!

The food here is absolutely amazing—you can taste the freshness in every bite. It’s clear that the restaurant takes pride in using high-quality ingredients, and I love that they partner with local farmers to source their produce. It was very loud and difficult to carry on a conversation. $8 for one pancake is quite ridiculous. Pancake was mediocre at best. Nearly non-existent corned beef on my order. It was so loud that the waitress didn't hear that I wanted scrambled eggs instead of poached. That being said, my wife liked her daily special. Blueberry muffin was goodish.

Absolutely love this restaurant - the staff and food are exceptional! However, the last time we were there I noticed they charge a credit card fee of 4%. While I personally don’t agree with this fee for many reasons, I don’t let it decide where I will dine. However, I don’t agree with SAP still charging me 4% when I used a SAP gift card to pay for my meal. Pretty disappointing when the person who bought us the gift card was also charged 4% when they purchased it. Seems like double dipping.

Had a lovely time at SAP, and Liz, our server, made the experience even better. She was super bubbly, gave us all the details we needed on the menu, and really knew her stuff. I love that everything here is made with locally sourced ingredients, and the restaurant partners with small businesses—such a nice touch!
I ordered the poblano pepper, and my friend went with the steak and eggs. Both were plated beautifully with large portions and tasted great, though a couple of dishes could’ve used a little more seasoning. But overall, the flavors were fresh and vibrant. I appreciated the healthier options too, like their kale, jalapeño, celery, apple, and pineapple juice. They also serve locally brewed coffee, and the berry smoothie bowl was a perfect light option. Plus, their Bakery is packed with options, so there’s something for everyone!
It’s definitely on the pricier side, but for the fresh, local ingredients and the community vibes, it’s worth it. Great spot for breakfast or dinner, especially if you're looking for a family-friendly atmosphere!

Favorite place in Appleton, hands down. We moved to Appleton 8 years ago and SAP has become our go-to place. Over the years we’ve made a point to go for breakfast just about once a month at least. The food never disappoints and we love that they prioritize supporting local. The only thing better than the food is the staff. My husband and I recently welcomed our first child and took about a 4 month hiatus from our breakfast dates. We had our first visit to SAP with baby last Sunday and had a new (to us) server. She came to our table and said “my coworkers told me this is your first time back since having the baby, congratulations!” We hadn’t explicitly shared that with anyone so the fact that the staff recognized that, and told our server, made us feel so seen. I have many other similar stories where staff have gone out of their way to show they care. We can’t wait to continue to support this business throughout the years to come!!

I can sum up my experience there as follows: "High quality food, exceptional service, and friendly atmosphere." I am a professor of Supply Chain Management and teach quality management principles in my courses. This is my favorite brunch place of all time and is a great example of high quality service to use in my classes. I try to eat there once every 2-3 weeks. The manager (Kristen) has done an excellent job of hiring friendly, knowledgeable staff who deliver speedy service with a smile. The meals (and desserts) are delicious. The establishment is very clean. They often are crowded, but you can sit at the counter if you are in a hurry. At the counter, you probably will be served by Jaida. She will make you feel very welcome with her bubbly personality and excellent customer service. Finally, the fantastic food and service are provided at a reasonable price. 5-stars!

Best lunch spot in Appleton! Everything these guys make is amazing. I'm sorry disappointed they got rid of their espresso machine but everything else is still the best around.

The food is tasty but it is extremely crowded here and you can barely hear each other talk without yelling. On weekends, it takes 30 minutes plus to get your food to the table and that’s after your 30-60 minute wait. We ordered a salad and opted for the “half salmon” add on for $10. The size of the half salmon is tiny. Completely unimpressed. The quality of this restaurant goes gradually downhill each year. Will not be returning which sucks because it’s one of the few restaurants across the valley with fresh, quality food.

The food was amazing, and the service was great. I was a little unease because I was the only African American in there, and I got a few stares. Next time, I'll do a to go order.

The food is delicious, fresh, healthy with numerous vegetarian and vegan options. The menu has such variety and still they had several great specials. I had a barbecue pork Benedict. Amazing and so filling. I also shared a side pancake with the table. The cake had a unique denseness in a good way. All four of us loved our meals. The coffee they serve is their own roast and tastes outstanding. I am a fries snob and having a few of my wife’s I can add that to the outstanding list. The service was very good. The entire staff was so down to earth. We stopped at the bakery inside and bought some turtles and some of their coffee. All the baked goods looked great and fairly priced. Same with the coffee. This was the fourth or fifth time we have dined here. Always consistently excellent. I must stated that the place is NOT inexpensive, but so worth it.

I recently dined at SAP, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable, making us feel like a VIP. The food was an absolute delight, each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The ambience was perfect for a relaxed yet sophisticated dining experience. Plus, finding parking was a breeze, and the spotless bathrooms were a pleasant bonus. SAP truly offers a top-notch culinary journey, and I can't wait to return for another memorable meal!

This is a wonderful business that would make my day any time I go. Their spicy chicken sandwich has the best buns I have ever had. They are buttery and soft, and work well with the chicken. While it was a bit spicy for me, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The hot chocolate was perfect, and the marshmallows were homemade and the best part of the drink. Along with a large breakfast and lunch menu, there is a bakery with a plethora of tasty treats. I got the chocolate chip cookie, and it was delicious.

Was fortunate to have work travels take me through the state of Wisconsin this week. Upon the recommendation of a colleague, I enjoyed what was probably one of the best breakfasts I've had in several years. What made the experience that much more enjoyable was the service that I received at the bar by Brittany and Bryce. Two wonderful human beings who were very attentive and fun to spend time with while enjoying my breakfast.

The food is always amazing. The drinks are amazing. The bakery is amazing. The service is amazing. It is just a little loud if you want to talk to the person across the table. Maybe it depends on where you are seated too. But, it is worth it! Just talk louder! This is the best place.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's a bit on the noisy side. And the food was on the pricey side. $9 for a glass of orange juice seems steep to me.

I can not rate this place high enough. The food, the service, the atmosphere..did I mention the food. Soooo good. I love all the sandwiches all the breakfast options but my favorite is the classic eggs benedict and the rueben. The salad with the vinagrette dressing(yum) and the breakfast potatoes. 🤤 I would eat here every day if I could.
