I've been meaning to stop in for quite some time and finally had a chance tonight for wing night!! Wings were exceptional, cooked and sauced perfectly! Fries were great ....order is meant for 2, but I ate them all 😄, perfect with a side of ranch. Best of all service was spectacular!! Waitress was on top of her game and super nice, probably because I unknowingly ordered her 2 favorite wing flavors 😂 it was the 1st day of birth month, so my RAK was a 100% tip!!! Seemed like the perfect spot to watch a game too. Will be back again soon!

Great little place! Our first time trying it. The food was excellent and so were the old fashioned's. Our server Mariah was so nice, attentive and we had great conversation with her. Definitely will come back when we visit Beaver Dam area again.

The food was alright, the waitress was nice. I dined here with my brother and father because another place in town wasn't going to open until 5pm.

We noticed that the manager had pulled the waitress out to the patio, and it looked like he was grilling her. When they got back in, the manger handled my bill, and was very confrontational about the fact that I said the food was "alright." He then agessively stated that his pizza was better than the other restaurant. We didn't even order pizza.

I don't appreciate ANYONE getting up into my grill about where I prefer going, especially in the manner he had approached me. You won't be finding me in there ever again.

We are new to the area and we were looking for a good bar to watch the Badger Game and have dinner. We found Sauer’s on Google and decided to give it a try because it had great reviews. What amazing food and amazing staff!! Had the cheese steak and bourbon burger with moz sticks! It was to die for!!!! This was our first time and definitely won’t be our last! We ordered it over the phone with Paige who was so sweet! Took it home and everything was perfect!! The lining they put in their Togo containers are even recipes!!! I hope they are there to stay! Went here on a Friday and had the casual fried fish stuff. I wasn’t in the mood for fish but wanted to try out this place. Dinner items were very little to choose from, but maybe because it was Friday. Food was good. Beer I ordered had ‘best by’ date of October 2023 and its May of 2024. Service is slow. We finished our dinner and our plates were taken away. It took over 25mins for her to deliver our check. It took another 15 mins for her to come back with our receipt. Not bad for a family run place, but service can be improved.

My family visited Sauers first time last night while driving thru Beaver Dam and couldn’t be happier with our 1st visit. The bartender immediately welcomed us into the establishment even with a full bar of guests. Our waitress I believe name Allison was also beyond friendly and welcoming and very tentative. Each of our meals wings, burger, and Philly steak were hot and delicious. Really loved the French fries that were made in fresh oil. Husband got the Philly steak and asked for a special request asking for it to be put on a wrap and the cook was happy to Fulfill request. Prices also very reasonable. Entire restaurant and Even bathrooms were beyond immaculate and clean. It’s so refreshing going into a restaurant/bar that is owned and managed and staffed by people who care. You can just tell the staff are happy to be there and the service, food, atmosphere shows that pride. We definitely recommend and will definitely come back.

So, the fried cod itself was actually really good tasting, that said their fry portions and fish portions are definitely undersized for the prices they're charging when you're comparing to other fish fry within a 20 minute drive. Just like statz before them you can expect to pay for hush puppies and coleslaw and not get it, as they seem to always be out. The people are certainly friendly and to their credit the fried cod tasted good, unfortunately the portions, lack of sides you ordered, and lack of seasoning on the mahimahi made for a seriously underwhelming fishfry.
