A visit on Friday, busy evening 626 pm. Table for 3 needed. We knew it was busy and we had to wait. We were told 30 minutes. At the hour mark, went to see what was up , reviewed the book and noticed they had seated 10-15 groups after we signed up with either 2 or 4 patrons. Asked again, and within 5 minutes we were seated. People that came in after us were going home as we were seated. I am not sure of the process used but honestly very disappointed with having to wait for no reason. We remained kind, had a good meal. We will never go back based on the seating issue. We will be also let everyone know about our experience as we don’t want others not to be warned about the poor seating service.

Stopped there yesterday ordered a salad and Reuben’s waited 45 minutes for food . Prior to that we decided to order a par cooked pizza for next day. To say the least the pizza was VERY DISAPPOINTING! We camp nearby every summer and this was our first time eating at Sayner Pub. It was a rainy chilly day and everyone was there. We waited for 2 hours for a table, but it was worth it. We were able to hang out outside in their 'beer garden' area. I recommend their weekly spaghetti special with garlic bread. It was perfect! The food was served hot and all 13 people in our party were happy with their meal. Thank you!

We were sat within 45 minutes of getting there. But, we sat for almost 2 hours at the table. 45 minutes to get our appetizers and another 30 minutes for our pizzas. The kids' chicken tender meals didn't come out until 10 minutes after the already 1 hour 15 minute wait for the pizzas. The waitress disappeared and although waiting as long as we did, we were not given refills on our sodas. Very disappointed in the whole experience. Pizza was tasty but definitely not worth the wait.

Atmosphere was exactly as expected, in a good way. The waitress was really nice, but it took a really long time for our food, even though they weren't particularly busy (it was around 2pm). The burger was ok, but of the preformed, likely frozen variety. The fries came out cold.
I'm sure it's a great bar with great drinks, but for a simple lunch experience, it's a big "meh" from me.

Haven't been here for awhile, since it changed hands. Drink prices have gone up exponentially compared to other comparable venues. Wanted broasted chicken but they were out. It's never good to run out, need to plan better. Had Chicago Dogs, very skimpy and no peppers. Walleye Bobbers were overpriced and salad was overpriced. For 3 drinks, 3 Chicago Dogs (no fries, just hotdogs), 1 salad and 1 Walleye bobbers bill came to 65. Not worth the price. Other similar places offer a lot more for a lot less. I doubt I'll be back and now I remember why I stopped going. Sorry you lost my business!

We waited over 40 minutes for a pizza. We had young children with us, and by the time the pizza got there, we were ready to leave. Everyone was hungry and didn't even want to eat anymore. I don't think they had the pizza oven fired up. Maybe let people know in advance so we are not stuck waiting. The service was great otherwise. The server was very kind and brought the kids applesauce. She was friendly, and also stayed on top of drink refills and brought a coloring book. I do not think we will order eat- in pizza again. People that had ordered fried food at other tables got their food quickly. The pizza itself was good. The crust was not great, but the toppings were good.

Best pizza in the woods!! Worth the drive from anywhere. The chicken bacon ranch is a family favorite and all of our guests love the pub special also.
Often too busy for phone orders, but you can sit and have a beverage or watch a game while you wait and place an order in person.
We’ve dined in for many dishes as well as carrying out pizza. Cheese curds are great, fish fry is yummy and sandwiches are delicious m. Can’t go wrong with Sayner Pub.

Excellent food and service! We visited on a busy Friday night. We had a party of six and we're seated within 5 minutes. Waitresses we're all busy, but acknowledged us quickly. We ordered apps and pizzas. Quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had!! Thin, crisp crust, great sauce and tons of toppings. Prices were very fair.
Yes, we we're from out of town, but they definitely didn't treat us like outsiders. This is our third time dining with you over 9 years and it's been excellent every time.

We stopped here on a Wednesday before a ski show. Atmosphere was great. Service was good. Food was excellent. Our daughter had the all you can eat spaghetti. Well, the first plate is huge so she ended up taking most home and eating it for two more meals. It's a steal of a deal for $12. My wife had the broasted chicken which was excellent. I was craving a bar pizza so I ordered the deluxe pub. It was exactly the type of pizza I wanted. Oh and we started with the walleye bobbers which were great as well. We would definitely go back if we end up in that area again.

Waitress seated us and said she would be right back for drink order. 10 minutes later we went to bar for drinks. Only 4 tables in dining room with diners.
Ordered 16" Pub Pizza. We have had this pizza many many times always great, not this time. Very little sausage, very little cheese. 16" pizza usually fills up pizza pan, not this one. We noticed no pepperoni, asked waitress, if they forgot pepperoni, she said no, we are out of pepperoni. This was after they delivered it and we were eating it. She then said she would discount the pizza and did give us 1/2 off. Have to wonder if she would have said anything, had we not asked? Really disappointing.

Been coming here for over 30 years and not much has changed. Shout out to the new local town hero/owner(Taylor), keep the traditions coming good sir.
