The Steak and crispy brussels were my favorite. They were crispy, sweet, and savory. The portion was perfect for 2 people. The hummus board was very good. I enjoyed the hummus and it too had a sweetness without being cloyingly sweet. I would have preferred kalamata to green olives. The portion was perfect for 2. The beehive salad was also very good. I preferred to add some hummus from the board instead of the dressing though.

My wife and I wanted a drink and talk. She had a blueberry martini and I had a tom Collins. Great drinks friendly staff. We came at shift change and couldn't pay immediately. We were in no hurry. Enjoyed our drink for 45 minutes or more. When we were going to leave i was surprised they didn't ask me to pay as I was sitting outside. When we payed he just smiled and said he had faith in the community and knew we would be responsible. Felt good in these times.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Sazzy B, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We waited nearly an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The server was polite, but it felt like we were forgotten for most of the time—we had to flag him down just to get updates. The atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable too, not as welcoming as I had hoped. Overall, I left feeling let down and unsure if I’d return.

I can't believe it took me this long to try Sazzy B. Absolutely AMAZING!! My wife and I tried this place for the first time and we were blown away! Tom N was our server, he was very kind and professional 10/10 service. My wife ordered the 3 Cheese Truffle Cavatappi with an egg on top and she loved every bite of it. I ordered the Smash Burger and I am not exaggerating when I say, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Cooked to perfection, with a crispy, caramelized exterior, yet the interior was still pink and packed with juicy flavor. The gruyere crisp is definitely a nice touch as well. Normally I don't mention sides, but the Truffle waffle fries were perfectly crispy and delicious! I'm telling you, this food is so good, there are zero chances of it becoming leftovers, 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.

We love getting drinks and doing our date nights here. My husband especially loves their old fashions and me their espresso martinis.

Recently went for our anniversary and the arugula salad was amazing, my husband had the pork chop which he always loves. Along with that they gave us our first round of drinks free for our anniversary. Such a sweet gesture.

I really wanted to like this place because for some reason every Kenosha local waxes on about how great it is. But, like their other favorite spot La Fogata, it's beyond meh. Microscopically small menu with very limited options, bland tasting food, usually overcrowded because of the local circle jerk around this place, super overpriced for what you get. I will say that service is always great and very friendly and half priced wine nights are a great plus, but if you're downtown there are so many other options to choose from. Heck subway is even a better tasting meal option and costs you a tenth of the price.

Updated Review - 2/1/25: Great service, fun atmosphere... and delicious food. I had the Buffalo Smash Burger. It was incredible! I also had the Pesto Caesar Salad. It was great. My wife had the Scallops with Risotto. She said it was perfect. My daughter had the Shrimp Flautas... And her boyfriend had the Buffalo Smash Burger. We all loved the food. Then we had dessert. I had the Carrot Cake, my wife had the Chocolate Strawberry Mousse, my daughter had the Flourless Chocolate cake and her boyfriend had the Tiramisu. We all decided two thumbs up for everything! We would all recommend Sazzy B's. We can't wait to go back!

Original Review: One word. WOW! We hadn’t been to Sazzy B in a few years. It turns out that was a huge mistake. We need to go more often! The food and service were incredible. Our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. He was a huge help picking out food and drinks. The food was delicious! We all liked everything we ordered. I loved my Moroccan Salmon and my wife loved her Italian Sausage Penne Pasta (I got to eat her leftovers for lunch the next day). Edit to update: The restaurant handled the negative experience effectively & every time since has been wonderful. Years of great interactions after this one poor experience with this former employee.

The employee, Nick, started complaining to multiple employees (and on different occasions) about us being at the table for too long. In a poor attempt to be quiet I could hear him complaining and having an attitude which other customers can obviously hear, too. We originally began next door at the Buzz for coffee and to work but it was packed full which led to us trying Sazzy’s brunch. After we ate we started our work then ordered drinks after time and continued to work. We stopped a waiter, which was Nick, to ask for a menu preparing to order a dish someone nearby had as we were just about finished and were almost to the point to head out..which he came back to state there’s a reservation for our table and we have 30 more minutes then went to the bar to tell the various employees we’ve been here too long. We were very considerate of anyone who helped us and offered to close our bill if they’d like. We tipped the bartender separately as well. We spent more than enough for meals, drinks, and were preparing for dinner before Nick attempted to kick us out. I saw multiple people waiting at their sister store next door and vice versa moving between and he made it a point to make us aware we can’t stay. He had no regard for customer experience or simply offering a solution of stepping over to the other side to work where people aren’t bothered as an inconvenience.

This was a mixed experience. We did Saturday night drinks and they were the best drinks between Chicago and Milwaukee so we decided to come back for brunch. They don't have any savory options for someone who only eats chicken/turkey, but can't really dock them for that. It'd be nice if they had a bigger variety of non-pork or egg dishes, but this isn't Milwaukee so it's understandable.

Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was slow, but that happens. Can't rush brunch. The drinks were great. We never got the beignets we ordered to share as an appetizer.

Brunch burger: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was really good. The flavors of the burger and bacon overpowered the aoili so I didn't really taste that, but fortunately the burger itself was good enough that it was fine. I'd go heavier on the aoili if you want people to taste it

Hashbrowns: ⭐⭐ These were burnt and dry. No real flavor to them.

Ceasar salad: ⭐⭐⭐ Dressing was good. A little mayonnaisey but it goes away quickly. Not too garlicky. The fried croutons are an interesting choice. I'm not sure what frying them brings to the table that baking doesn't, but it just made them really hard. My wife had to bury them under the lettuce for 5 minutes to soften so she could even spear one with a fork. The frying seems like a buzzword gimmick because it doesn't add any beneficial flavors

Absolutely fantastic, there was live Jazz, an amazing cocktail list full of classics and innovation, and the menu with something for everyone but elevated😏. Came with a large group and instantly felt welcomed and organized for our dining experience. We were well cared for through and through. Hit the Air Head cocktail, a very bright mezcal fruity number that was easy drinking and post dinner a little espresso martini that was bold and fresh. For dinner got the Trout on recommendation and it did not disappoint! Cooked perfect and the celery root puree was on point, it reminded me how much I like that veggie.

Next time I'm in Kenosha I will make a point to be back!

My friend and I were in Kenosha for a championship volleyball game, my daughter plays for Elmhurst University and they were playing against Carthage. We needed to eat before the game. I am GF and DF which can be very limiting. My friend found this little gem on the quaint old town streets of Kenosha. The restaurant is small, dark and intimate. The staff were warm and welcoming. My maple pumpkin oat milk latte was warm and tasty. The bacon jam appetizer was made GF by subbing GF pita bread for the crostini, The jam was amazing. My harvest salad was just what I love. Greens, sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, I added salmon for my protein.

Ok, where to start... The staff, Vicki especially, is wonderful. It would be great if the ownership would listen to the employees suggestions as they are hearing comments from the clients. The menu is just awful. I had a hard time even choosing. It is like the chef is trying way too hard. The food is not allowed to shine. For example: on a burger there is soppressada under the burger, gouda and onions with a funky flavor with sweet potato chips and an awful sweet sauce for the chips. It is being described as "Indian" but I love Indian food and this doesn't come close. Too many cultures that don't blend well in this case. The barrata cheese was delicious but there was an unidentifiable gray matter smeared across the cheese which had cinnamon or all spice...either way it totally ruined the barrata. I travel a lot so I might have higher expectations. I also have experience in every aspect of the industry including as a chef. Years ago the menu here was well put together and delicious. Kenosha needs good restaurants so this is very disappointing. I won't come back. I couldn't recommend this in good faith to anyone. Please take the time to visit other successful fine dining restaurants like Le Colonial in Lake Forest. Primo and Stevens in Gurnee and Aria in Milwaukee. These are the kind of restaurants we need here. You can make Sazzy B's shine with the right chef but you are far off the mark now.

Service was great even before I went there. Called on short notice to make a reservation for a party of 11. Nick was super accomodating on rearranging the floor for the night to get us in within half an hour of my original time request.

The night of my dinner, Chris was a great server and extra accomodating when we asked to split the bill. I will always recommend the Marble Banana Chocolate Cake for dessert and calamari as appetizer. The entrees hit the spot, but are nothing to write home about. I parked and called the place to see if there is a wait. It's Sunday 10am. They informed me no wait. I rushed in to feed my kids much anticipated pancakes. I walked in and asked for a table for 4. After they checked where to seat us, I was told they can't seat 4. Not at a smaller table, not at the bar, they "can't feed us" as I was informed.

Another good find. Our first experience here was decent. The appetizer was delicious. The steak and cheese dish. We enjoyed the Tuna and the asparagus pasta. The pasta needed a little more flavor and some

The steak in the salad was more like the goulash meat.

Super neat place. Food is delicious, pork chop, burgers, steak all delightful. Deserts are also amazing. Drink menu is unique and some awesome options for whiskey and bourbon.

Walked in for Brunch and was seated right away!! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Drink options galore 🫨☕️🥂🍸🧋 Odered the Nutella Latte w/ Almond Milk & the Mango Detox Drink. The ingredients were clearly thought out and exceptionally put together for our brunch choices.

First time dining here. Dinner was excellent. Good presentation, excellent attentive waitstaff. Best porkchop I've ever had. Scrumptious desserts, flourless chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake. The only negative was the cocktail. Ordered something I was not familiar with and it was a smoked cocktail. Very strong smokey taste. I wish I had been apprised of the smoke part.will go back.

The Bleu burger is amazing. The calamari is amazing. The pork ratatouille is super spicy but so full of flavor!
I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman that was our waiter because he was also amazing. Me and my crew were there for the first time and absolutely loved it. 10 out of 10 for sure.

The service was excellent. The food was tasty. Little high-end for my usual going to dinner, but it was a birthday dinner. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. The only handicap spot was across the street. However, it was a Friday night.

I'm not sure what's up with this place, I used to go here two or three nights a week. And would have great food and great service. Went in on a Wednesday night for the pasta deal which was super dry. I had two pieces of broccoli in my thia spicy pasta, waited 45 minutes for the dish. Then when we ordered dessert, waited another 25 minutes for a piece of cheesecake. Ridiculous. I prefer slip 56 and will be giving them my business instead. Fix your service and consistency in cooking. I will not be recommending this spot to anybody anymore. Overpriced for what you get and the service is trash.

What a great place! The food was fabulous! I had the Andouille Carbonara. The portion size was perfect and it had just the right amount of spice. Our waitress was beyond nice -- very polite, attentive and friendly. The place was packed, and yet I didn't feel like we were too close to other tables; and, I still could hear my friend, so the acoustics were good. I would make a reservation, which we did. It's a popular place, and a perfect place for foodies.

For the 8pm seating New Year Eve dinner, the cocktail and non alcoholic pairings were well planned and executed. The meals were conceptually good, but fell short on execution. The seafood course and steak course were both cool when delivered. The flavors were good, but both temperature and texture did not meet expectations for the caliber of restaurant or previous experience at Sazzy B.
The live band was entering as food service was ending. For the difference in price between the 5pm and 8pm service I would have expected either the live band throughout or a champagne toast at the end of service.
We have had many exceptional experiences at Sazzy B, hopefully this was just a fluke mediocre experience.
