Our first time here. We both had the broasted chicken with coleslaw (excellent). I had the onion rings (wasn't impressed), the wife had the german potato salad (excellent) and also the apple crisp (yummy) for dessert. Our dinners were accompanied by ice cold beers and tasty cocktails.
The service was attentive and friendly and there were seating choices whether you wanted to sit at a table or the bar...

Typical Wisconsin bar for Friday night fishfry. The fish was AMAZING, the food and wait staff were GREAT. The bartending staff, not good. Liz didn’t look at anyone and didn’t acknowledge any new customers nor either of the other two bartenders. Liz had a scowl on her face the whole time. All the bartenders would make one drink at a time, and neither of them had a designated section of the bar. It was a free-for-all. All three bartenders seemed to prefer to service their “regulars” before anyone else.

We stopped in on our way from Milwaukee to Green Bay for the draft. The staff noticed out eclectic mix of team fan garb and gave us highlights and advice from their trip up to the draft the night before. They were very friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu. When the food came out it was all delicious, the servings were perfect, and the price cannot be beat. It was so good I wanted to go back on our way back through to try more meals from the menu. I don't know when it will be but a stop at Scenic Bar and Grill will be on my itinerary the next time I'm in the area.

When you’re from out of town, You’re always rolling the dice a bit when you choose places to go out to eat.

Scenic had great reviews, but you never know. We are so glad we stopped. The food was excellent. I had a Reuben and my wife had the broasted chicken. We also have an appetizer basket.

Everything was hot and fresh. The servers though were what really impressed us!! Rose, our serve, was very attentive and very friendly! Not what you always find when you’re out to eat. We even were told thank you by the bartender as we left and encouraged to come back.

I’m sure the locals love this place. Yet if you’re visiting Sheboygan, this one is worth checking out!

Called them to see if they could accommodate a group of of people after a funeral and they did. Cslled them onlyna day before the funeral. They even opened earlier than there normal start time. The staff was great and very friendly. Would highly recommend them, had a private room so when opened for normal business we were not effected. Again GREAT Staff!

Went here for a fish fry. It was alright, I don't really have any complaints the food was good. Make sure you get a reservation or your name on the list early because it gets packed. Everything was good, but nothing really stood out to me where I would say this is a must try. If someone suggested we go there again I wouldn't say no, but I also wouldn't suggest it myself.

Scenic? It sits on a street corner in Sheboygan, not near the lake. Which is awesome! Great fish fry on Friday, great crowd, nice beer tenders who actually interact with you. Had the combo plate of Walleye, Perch and Shrimp, while my wife had just the Walleye. The breading was light and the shrimp was the best fried shrimp I ever had. The Belching Beaver Beer (no lie) was a great Black Ale, though they called it a stout. It was light and very drinkable. Loved this place.

Exceptional customer service - we showed up at 9pm at night after driving all day and the staff was so nice and even the owner came and talked with us. We had shrimp, scallops, walleye fish dinner, broasted potatoes, and cole slaw - just amazing! Don't change a thing. If they ever run out of perch don't worry, the walleye was 100% boneless and tasted very similar to perch.

My thin brat patty was so burnt that I had to eat it skipping around the edges. I told the waitress whose reply was just I’m sorry. Nothing else. My husband had the double brat patty. His patty was black on one side. The hard roll was not a hard roll but instead was a soft bun. Tiny piece of lettuce on sandwich was limp. Not going back

This restaurant was one of the first places I visited when I moved back to Wisconsin. I missed my Friday night Fish Fries and my new roommate said this was a popular place.

He was definitely right. The place was packed when we got there (no reservations taken) and we ended up waiting about 1/2 hour before being seated.

Was the food worth waiting for? YES! Crispy battered fish with a flaky tender middle...I was in fish fry heaven. I believe it came with a potato pancake, applesauce, coleslaw and a slice of rye bread.

I ordered the pistachio torte for dessert, and although it was tasty, I was expecting something different. My German background says a torte is layers of cake with filling, but this was just basically pistachio pudding, layered with whipped cream and cake. More like what you might bring to a potluck dinner than a restaurant dessert. Yes, I ate it all, and it was tasty... just not what I expected.

The other nice thing about the restaurant is the wide selection of cocktails and beer. Which isn't surprising, since it is a bar and grill. I had a satisfying dark beer that was perfect with my fish fry.

I've been back several times and although it is always busy, it still is one of my favorite restaurants. But I still can't figure out why it is called the "Scenic" Bar ... it's on a street corner, not by the lake or river. Absolutely nothing scenic about it. 😁

My fiancé and I stopped in tonight for the first time. We will definitely be back. I’ve spent about 7 months of a pregnancy being repulsed by the idea of eating fish, and out of nowhere had the hankering today. Last night (Friday) was my first of many visits . My friend and I arrived around 545pm and the place was packed, of course. They told us it would be a half hour or wait so we went to the bar. I called in an order for pickup. The young lady that took my call was pleasant and professional. I ordered the perch and she said it would be ready in 15 minutes on a busy Friday night. I arrived in 14 minutes, was greeted promptly and my order was ready. The owner, Kurt, also came to thank me for the order which was a nice gesture. The food was delicious! First time visit & boy did we pick the right spot for Friday Fish Fry in Sheboygan! There’s a reason this place is voted the best three years in a row. Great menu and fish fry options: fresh caught perch, blue Gill, pike or beer buttered Cod (EXCELLENT!) platters with a slice of Marble rye, potato, homemade coleslaw or applesauce. The place was packed, but great service and a quick turnover with tables. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Marilee our waitress was awesome! The manager also stopped by to see how everything was and recommended a few other places to check in the area. Great spot, excellent fish fry and service!

Five stars all the way! The Scenic is our happy place, and you have to try it. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends or a drink with your significant other.

The menu has a great selection of food options, and it's easy to see why the Scenic has the best Friday Fish Fry in Sheboygan. Drinks are top notch as well, plus the homemade desserts, from cheesecake to tortes are amazing! My wife loves the pistachio torte.
