Fish fry tasted like last week Fish.

Waited along time for waitress to return
80 degrees out the room they put us in had no air an no fans.
Plus we got a rude comment from the lady who checks you in.
We shouldn't of parked in a disabled parking stall.

Terrible food. Nothing was goid except hushpuppies. You had to ask for meat or dessert only to be told to come back in 20 minutes. Food was microwaved warm. Prime rib was like an overcooked dry beef roast. Ham was pressed formed ham. Bread pudding was very hard and dry. Nasty food. Won't be back.

Went there last night with some friends for dinner. When we sat at the bar the Bartender was very unfriendly. Never said hello or asked us what we wanted to drink. Just stood in front of us waiting for us to tell him what we wanted. Never spoke a word to us but was very polite to the regular crowd. Waitress was friendly and received the food fast, but no flavor to the Prime Rib, which was also cold, Pork Chops no flavor. We won’t be going there again. We’ve tried before going there and it’s always the same. Rude & unfriendly!!

We are currently on vacation, and it was our first time here and definitely our last. We called prior to make a reservation, and the gentleman on the phone told us to come to the south entrance since we told him our 88 grandmother was in a wheel chair. We arrived on time and went to the hostess to check in. She was not friendly and snapped at us, that we should have told them at the time of reservation one in our party of 3 was in a wheelchair. I was shocked and I explained that we had informed them prior to coming over the phone, and she rolled her eyes and turned away as a young lady seated us. The cod was decent fried fresh, served hot, small portions and needed salt. But the cod was all you can eat and for the price was decent. The chicken was over fried and did not have any seasoning just tasted like old oil. We've got broasted chicken everywhere around here in Wisconsin, and this was the worst we ever tried. There is no view of the lake from the dining area inside or bar. There were flies inside bothering the guests and the service was very very slow. This looks like a family owned place some of servers are very young and texting, laughing, joking with eachother, not being attentive, creating a not so pleasant dining experience, and hiding behind a little screen near the kitchen on their phones ignoring guests. I feel like this historic beautiful building has so much to offer visually but the staff is what makes the experience very poor. There are so many supper clubs in the area we will not be returning. Locals are probably used to the service, but it was a bit of a shock for us. The peppermint stick icecream was the best part! Giving 3/5 is a generous score because I hope it was just them having a bad night with staff.

This is the quintessential supper club. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service was great. The prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately, the food was just ok. We went on a Friday. My wife and son ordered the cod with a cup of clam chowder. It was decent, but there are better options in the area. The soup was very salty. I ordered the ribeye with broasted potatoes. The steak looked amazing on the plate. A perfect crust, but there wasn’t much flavor and it was a very grisly piece of meat. I was very disappointed. We may give them another try, but probably not anytime real soon.

Building has a nice charm, the hostess, not so much. We had reservations and ate our food which is definitely premade based upon how fast it arrived. We were enjoying an after dinner drink and were asked to, "take your conversation out to our patio brcause we have an hour and a half waiting list" Mind you it was raining. We're camping in the area and have seen the sign many times and finally came in for Friday fish. It was so good! Everything you'd want in terms of food quality, service, and environment. I had the fisherman's platter which was cod, haddock, perch, and blue gill - I'd come back just for the blue gill. Warm rye bread, creamy coleslaw, awesome broasted potatoes. Can't go wrong! Definitely stop in if you're looking for a good fish fry for a more than reasonable price.

So this was the first time at this supper club. It’s on a lake close to no where. The bar was pretty full when we arrived. No big deal, its WISCO! Everybody needs an old fashion! No draft beer! Super bummed I have to say. I was looking for maybe a PBR or even a Spotted Cow from the old tapper! However, the food was amazing. Our waiter, Leanne was so great and helpful. She didn’t skip a beat! I would recommend the broasted chicken. It was very good! Just remember, CASH ONLY!!!!!!

A great stop as always . Be sure to get reservations and have cash with you. No credit cards . Tonight we checked in early and several tables were empty. We have never had issues like tonight getting a table without reservations. In addition, its cash only and the ATM was out of service. So bring a checkbook if you know what that is anymore. Its always a great time but i dont understand why you wouldn't charge 3 percent to every credit card and give that an option especially when your atm is broke.

Outstanding customer service that deserves more than five stars. Homemade potato salad and cole slaw with the Friday fish specials. Gorgeous sunset over Lake Emily. Park-like grounds with wonderful old-growth trees.

This place has been a part of my family's history for at least three generations that I know of. My grandparents went to dances when there was a dance hall upstairs. Simply the best.

My only complaint would be you have this magnificent old mansion that sits on a small hill overlooking Lake Emily and you don't make that the centerpiece! Open the back up so people have a nice view. Great WI supper club. 4 of us stopped in for an early Fri dinner and the parking lot was full with people waiting for it to open, so make a reservation. We waited for our table at the bar while our bar tender served so very tasty old fashioneds. Table had a cracker and relish tray plus warm rye bread. Steak was good, blue gill was good, all you can eat cod was good, adult ice cream drinks were very good. Order the French onion soup. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Wish they had a salad bar but they seem more rare on the supper club scene these days.

It was an okay experience. The prices were fair, food was good and setting was interesting with a 1970's vibe meshed into an 1800's building.
They only take CASH so bring it. They have an ATM, but lets be reasonable, it's the year 2022 and it's cheap and easy to accept credit, debit and even crypto. I was lucky enough to be with people who had green backs but it's still uncomfortable to be told you can't pay for yourself.
One unique aspect is that this restaurant is out in the middle of nowhere. You can also see a little bit of a lake from the patio. I would visit again, but I would also bring paper money next time.

All entrees were good. Prime rib and tenderloin done perfectly and super tender. Ribs and seafood platter (with walleye) also good. I was glad I overheard someone say the salad was only lettuce and a few croutons. Opted for the soup (French onion). While it had good flavor, it was a lesser version of what you can order. Just onions & broth. The relish tray was 3 huge radishes, some cut up dill pickles & carrots. A small cracker basket was included. Not sure what the whipped cheese was. It was tasteless, more like colored cream cheese. Just needs a bit of spice. I was so up for getting a bloody Mary, until I found out they use a bottled mix. Passed on that. In the end, and most importantly, we wish we had known they don't take credit cards. Thankfully, we had our bank card with us to get cash. It could be really embarrassing if someone didn't have cash or a bank card (like our friends that went with us). Looking forward to going back for more prime & tenderloin! Great waitress for her first night.

Plenty of open tables, but poor attitude displayed when we arrived without a reservation. Hostess grabbed two menus and marched off to seat us without telling us to follow. Food was okay, service was okay - were promised Cole slaw, it never arrived. Open tables remained open during our visit. We decided to try Schaumburg for Friday fish fry. Bar service was slow, food was average. If you have any allergies, it's not a good place to visit. Limited gluten free options and no dairy free options for fish. Definitely behind the times when it comes to catering to allergy challenged patrons. Can't say it was worth the trip.
