Great spot for some great food if you are in the Fond Du Lac area. We had the Queso curds to start, following by the Pina Colada Shrimp tacos and the Chicky Chicky Parm Parm sandwich. All were great. Service was great and while it was busy they turn the tables pretty quickly. Wish we would have had room for dessert because they sounded delicious!

We found this place along the way, heading to the Dells for a trip.
I couldn't believe the variety of flavors and food on the menu, it was such a nice change of pace from the regular bar food you find. Whatever you're in the mood for, they certainly have it here!
The food was flavorful, delicious, and fresh!
I was so happy to see they have hand cut fries, as we both prefer them, and I feel like it is a good judge of food quality at restaurants from our experience.
The service was also great and everyone was so friendly.
It was so good that we also stopped in on the way home from the Dells for the boneless wing special. We'll be coming back here for sure! A-1

My favorite restaurant in town! Great menu with tons of options, with diet and allergen-friendly substitutions available. I brought my husband and his brother and cousins here from out of state when they helped him move here to give them a taste of Wisconsin, and we together have brought other friends here as well!

Reservations aren't available here, so if you plan to eat here on a Friday or Saturday night, either plan to arrive early or expect to wait, as tables fill up fast. The food is so worth the wait, though!

First time visiting Schmitty's and thoroughly enjoyed it. Stopped for lunch on a Saturday. My 2 companions had Poke bowls and I had one of the specials for the day, which was a cup of cheesy seafood chowder with shrimp tacos. It was delicious. Enjoyed a nice dinner with my two littles. Food was good, I had the breaded haddock and my kids each had a burger. Food portions and presentation were good, service was great and we didn't have to wait to be seated, even though they were super busy. Only negative about this place is how noisy it is. I've been in worse, but this is definitely in my top 20. Overall, good experience and we'll be back.

Food was typically bar food with a twist. The cheese curds were good! I had the tuna bowl with rice - probably should have gotten it with vegis instead - but thought it was ok. The kimchi in it gave it a crunch and some different flavors, but the flavors were confusing for me - and I eat everything. Son had steak burrito bowl - he thought the steak was chewy - would recommend the chicken instead. Dgt had cheese pizza - i think it is a flat bread dough - overall pretty good and cheesy. Other dgt had kids mac and cheese - what you would typically expect. We were seated right away and the place was busy. There is outdoor seating, but not on the water, and given muggy heat - everyone sat inside. Was amazed to discover REAL slot machines! Nice lady next to me showed me how to use. Lol, coming from Texas, this is a treat. Lost $14 bucks, but it was fun.

We had a fantastic experience dining here. Very comfortable and welcoming. The food and drinks were spot on. The beer list is quite impressive. They have 2 bars and 2 dining areas in the facility, and there was no wait to be seated even with the large volume of people dining at the time.
There were slots and pull tabs, which is always a bonus for us.
A must do if you are in town.

AWESOME Bloody Mary’s here. This is one of our favorite places to visit when we come up to visit my mom and dad in Fond du Lac. Can’t beat half price pizza on Wednesdays. I eat the gluten free pizza. So good. The other pizzas are a hit with my kids and parents. Had a party of 17 people last time we went, and Schmitty’s did an excellent job taking care of us. Love my people in Wisconsin, and we like Schmitty’s! Delicious!

I don’t understand how hard it is to just leave something off a special. I asked them to take one thing off because I simply don’t like it, and they refused. It’s not like I was asking for anything extra or complicated just to not include something. I’ve never been to a place that’s so unwilling to make such a simple change. It’s lazy and unaccommodating.
