Was surprisingly really good so at first look with the stake sandwich I thought that the party looked a little thin but had no trouble tasting it though out the whole sandwich. Chilli was good. And was priced very reasonablely. From the Milwaukee area and I will be coming back.

Guess I should have read the reviews that said customers were ignored and waitstaff was rude because it's true. When I arrived over an hour before they closed one waitress was arguing with a customer saying that anything additional on their order had to be taken to go. In the meantime, I stood there for over 5 minutes while another waitress completely ignored me. Glad I didn't waste my time and money.

This is a gem of old school Sheboygan dining. The steak burgers are charcoal grilled, on a Sheboygan hardroll, with butter -- just like all the great Sheboygan spots that have long since closed (RIP Randalls, Charcoal Inns). Super efficient and friendly service and good prices. Highly recommended. Protect Schulz's at all costs!

Customer service from the “manager” was extremely unprofessional today. I addressed that my order was incorrect very kindly. She was more concerned about the food cost it would take to remake my food. She told me I would have to pay another $25 for my food to be remade. Although I might of forgot to specify I wanted brat links, not patties. The way she handled the situation as a manager was probably the WORST I’ve ever been talked to from a manager. She was full of attitude and very argumentative.

I finally was able to catch them open after many times of passing through Sheboygan and boy am I glad I did! The combo brat/hamburger burger is one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a long time! I really loved the local baked hard rolls that they use, and that charcoal flavor on the meat is just amazing! Very good prices and such a nostalgic restaurant.

My mom grew up in Sheboygan, and every time we visited, we'd stop at Schulz's for a burger. We are carrying on the tradition -- delicious burgers and fries, fast service, and you can't beat the prices. Yum!

This place used to be so great. Delicious food, and great service. I arrived Saturday at 2:40. The sign said open, but all the lights were off. The employees ignored us while we stood there for about 5 min. The first words our of their mouth when they acknowledged us was "we close at 3, so if you order it has to be to go" in a condescending tone. We placed an order to go. While we waited for our food, other customers came in to try to eat and we're literally shouted at "we close at 3". Nobody even approached them, they got up and left empty handed. They also received people attempting to place an order to pick up on the phone, which they also treated very rudely. They literally made fun of the potential customer after they hung up the phone on them for even attempting to order. With employees like those, this classic restaurant will be closed down on no time. When we go out food, the pizza burger was undercooked and the fries were unsalted. We couldn't go back in to complain as they locked the doors as we exited (even though it wasn't even 3 yet).

Hey Schultz's Restaurant: I've enjoyed the burgers a few times in the past but twice recently I've tried to visit your eatery. First time sign on the door, "Closed due to painting." Second time sign on the door, "Closed until March 18th". How about updating your Google listing to correctly reflect your hours. I called both times and got the message, "The mailbox is full." Not a great way to run a restaurant nowadays. You should respect your customers. Get your act together.

I went in the morning around 8:40am and was looking forward to the steak sandwich but breakfast was only offered until 10:45am. No Steak with eggs were available due to lack of steak, so I settled for Two Eggs with Ham along with a side of Bacon & Hash brown.

The food was cooked fresh to order. The waitress did not say one word to me during my dining time except when taking my order and taking my payment. But I’m not dishearten because the food came out fast and was respectable. Total bill was $12.77 along with a $5.00 tip. Cash was only accepted.

Overall, no rush to repeat anytime soon.

This is a 10/10 they cut any unnecessary service to reduce cost to the consumer while maintaining as much quality as they can. Burgers were supposed to be doubles only got singles no condiments on them like lettuce, tomato or pickles, no ketchup or mustard. Breaded mushrooms were mush because the breading was so full of oil, French fries were cold and no salt. Burgers were over cooked I don't like dry well done burgers very hard to eat and swallow not too mention the buns were hard and just as dry as the meat

Came in and stood there for 5 or more minutes (and it wasn't busy) and at least 4 workers saw us and nobody acknowledged us. No "hi we'll be with you in a minute" or "just sit anywhere", nothing! Ok got past that. Asked the server how their fried shrimp was, "it's fried shrimp, what can I say". Maybe say "they are large shrimp, you get 6 or so in an order" or the are small shrimp and no tail on them". Something other than the answer I got. Took awhile to come back and check on us. The food was just ok. Would not eat there again. I dont understand why it has such a high rating. Oh I called to see what kind of soup they had and they said two different kinds and when we got there they had two totally different ones. Who knows??

The steak sandwich sounds simple but it’s because of the quality and fresh ingredients that it really shines!!

One of my favorite places to eat in Sheboygan. Amazing food and staff. Unfortunately the owner is rude and does not care about his customers. When serving my food he did not sound happy whatsoever and aggressively took the menu out of my hand to put it back. Without him, this place is all around 5 stars. The other waitresses are awesome. I witnessed the owner yell at a customer today over her comments about something minimal and he told her it’s fine if she never comes back. Not a way to treat your customers at all. I’ve heard many complaints about him before and he’s always been this way to his customers. If you happen to see him there you’re better off going to Gosse’s. At least they care.

Another wonderful find that looks like nothing from the outside and a hem on the inside. The food was delicious and obviously fresh as you can see them press the burger into a patty and plop it on a coal fired grill. I could feel the freshness and the sensation of the grill only 20’ from us in an open atmosphere. The staff was fast, friendly, and always checking on us seemingly only when we needed it. The only 2 downsides was/is Cash Only, and the water is terrible. This was the only reason I gave it 4 stars. There is an ATM so you can get cash. I typically only order water, so this often a weight on my review.

Didn’t get a welcome or hello at all when my family of 3 walked in. They seemed surprised to see us walk in. Maybe because we’re not Caucasian? The vibe of unwelcome was there the way the chef and the waiter looked at us.
The menu itself is plain. Nothing special about it. I can make it myself at home but wanted to try out some of Sheboygan’s restaurants that are around. Just a burger with 1/4 pound patty or hot dogs. Would I go back? No. Service and food is not ok enough to bring me back.

The claim that Schultz's makes about being the best hamburger restaurant in town is a dramatic understatement, I travel quite a bit and in my opinion this small restaurant is in the top 5 hamburger restaurants in the state of Wisconsin.

Not only do they serve hamburgers that are as near to perfect as humanly possible, but, their prices are so reasonable that you would be doing yourself a disservice to get a hamburger anywhere else.

The atmosphere is fantastic as well. It feels almost as if you stepped back in time, as the restaurant has the feel of a classic 1950's hamburger restaurant.

I also highly recommend the vanilla malts, again, some of the best I've had.

I had the chili was ok but not the best kind blah tasting. I had roast beef dinner and potatoes. My roast beef was cold two times now. The potatoes were running both times very blah tasting. Remind you the waitress left before I could even finish my order. I want chili and my mom had to say something and when I got it she slid the bowl on the table. Prices are not worth amount food you get. THE WAIT STAFF IS VERY RUDE. NEVER CHECKED ON US. I will not go back and I will support another family owned business where the people are not rude. Don't get me wrong the Food is Great but if your not the right Skin Color I suggest you don't go there, save yourself the bad experience and make a pickup order instead. Last time we sat in there over 5 minutes and they seen us but never came to the table and the place was dead at the moment, so I got up to look at what a menu special said that was written down and he clearly noticed me then and said we don't serve that in the morning in a messed up uninviting voice, so I got the hint from the old man which is probably the owner and left, I will never go back again worst experience ever.

I've eaten there many times. They have great food, affordable prices, very fast service and friendly staff.

The perch sandwiches are fresh and tender with crispy breading. The pork chop sandwich was made of tender, lean pork, cooked on a charcoal grill and served on a buttered Sheboygan hardroll with your choice of condiments (I have raw onions and brown mustard.) The burgers are also served on a Sheboygan hardroll with a pat of butter and your choice of condiments (They are comparable to Krolls in Green Bay).

Decor is 1960s basic diner with booths and tables. Bring cash because they don't take plastic or checks. The low prices make up for this.

Rude owner actually yelled at our family with young kids over a misunderstanding. No tact whatsoever. Trying to make some memories with my kids, it’s rare I get off of work. Was pleased they were open so early and I’ve heard good things. I must have missed the cash only sign. I got up to check for signage on the door/windows, nothing on counter or clear on menu...is it outside maybe? We didn’t even sip out drink or take 1 fry. My kids will never forget this man raising his voice at us with the place half full of customers peering. This can’t be the first time it has happened. Instead of having some empathy or at least a some rehearsed lines, he took out his frustration on us gesturing wildly. Totally unprofessional he wanted to humiliate. We left and will never return and we’re locals. I get it, you wanna lie to the government about how much you make so you’re not taxed. Ain’t no charm in a mom ‘n’ pop diner that has lost connection with the common person living paycheck to paycheck, all of which is unavoidably taxed to the max.

Reminds me of Charcoal Inn that recently closed both locations in sheboygan. Great diner food, friendly staff. Can definitely tell they have their regulars. Cute, old diner atmosphere.
