The cafe itself is well done and beautiful! Hats off to the designer and builder!
The food was delicious but the prices are a bit high for the area. Yes, I understand it's a tourist town but during the off season the prices should reflect that and bring in the locals.
The staff was friendly and attentive as well. We will be back!

Captain Mike from the Escapade Yacht tour was right, this place was great! The building and decor are adorable! There are great options on the menu with classics and some different items. The monkey bread was delicious! We didn’t eat outside but the upstairs view of the lake was beautiful. Check it out!

Super happy to have this charming and cheery Scoot's Cafe in downtown Green Lake. That dang MonkeyBread is so delicious and my Skim Latte was lovely. (I did eat breakfast too - yummy!) The wait staff is attentive and the owner and manager often make table visits to be sure all is good. A must stop off the boat or driving through town!

Scoots is my absolute go-to spot in Green Lake for breakfast and lunch! I love grabbing a seat at the counter—it feels like home, and chatting with the baristas always makes my day. The food is consistently amazing, the atmosphere is light, bright, and cheerful, and the staff is easy-breezy and fun. I had an extraordinary experience at this Scoot's Cafe. I believe it was Taylor who served us today and they were very kind even as I asked them to customize my order a bit even though I know that is a huge pain for any restaurant. I was referred to this cafe by the person who's home we recently purchased and it was a great referral if you ask me. Even at my old age I should definitely be spending my precious time doing something else other than leaving reviews but Scoot's Cafe definitely deserves the time to type this out. I will definitely be repeat business for this cafe and it is a welcome option for transplants that have just relocated to Green Lake. This Cafe will definitely be a a staple for decades to come in this small community as I will be there weekly to help ensure so. On the way out the general manager, Star I believe because it is such a memorable name gave us a free Scoot's Cafe cribbage board and even offered to teach us how to play anytime which has made us feel more than welcome after our move and it was greatly appreciated as we understand it is a local custom to play cribbage. Really quite remarkable this place.

For all the foodies out there I had the steak sandwich and I would not have changed a thing.

Visited scoots for the first time in July while visiting green lake with the family. We were seated inside quickly. Food was absolutely delicious. The arrived quickly, presentation was beautiful the food flavor was amazing and when it arrived food was at the perfect temperature.They also have a beautiful outside seating looking at the lake. Our server was great the owner stopped by to check on us as well as the manger. I can’t wait to visit again. Also they have the cutest coffee cups and you can purchase as well

We stopped to have breakfast at Scoot’s in July. We were seated right away. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint! The hollandaise sauce was so fabulous. We had a party of five and everyone enjoyed their meal! The wait staff was friendly and informative. If you are in the Green Lake area stop at Scoot’s you will not be disappointed, you may find your new favorite restaurant!

The sweetest little café in town, run by two amazing sisters who clearly pour their hearts into everything they do. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles, laughter, and the comforting aroma of fresh local coffee.

Their motto, “Eat, Drink and Be Happy,” couldn’t be more fitting — every bite and sip feels like a little celebration. I had the eggs benedict and my husband had the chicken & waffles! Oh the lake views make it even better.

I had a unique experience at this cafe. We have just moved to the area and our relator took us for lunch and we enjoyed it so much we have returned a few times. Today I took 2 friends who were visiting and the experience was just awful! It took an hour to get our lunch. When it arrived I realized that I had neglected to tell the waitress that I could not eat the spicy sauce they put on the steak sandwich so I asked to have it remade. The waitress, Tayler, took the plate but shortly returned with Star, the GM, who asked if I wanted the sandwich boxed. I was startled beyond words. Star informed me that it was a perfectly good sandwich made to the menu description and they would be charging me for both sandwiches. I declined. In all my 68 years I have never had a restaurant react this way to a customer mistake! I guess it is no wonder that so many restaurants fail if they treat customers this way. I would think that the prospect of repeated business would encourage this little cafe to respect customers and remake the sandwich. Apparently, I was mistaken. We will not be returning.

Perfect addition to Green Lake. Amazing new construction that looks like it has been there for decades. (In the very best sense). I have "bellied up" to the counter for breakfast on several occasions. The coffee is outstanding and the menu is full of delicious options with cool takes on traditional cafe' staples. I LOVE the Eggs Benny Skillet. You can't go wrong with Monkey Bread. Just like my mom made it.
The atmosphere is relaxed with a view of Green Lake. Plenty of outdoor seating.

I have tried this place twice and both times have been disappointing. Maui Maui taco plate, fish was either freezer burned or weeks old. Chicken sandwich was listed as spicy but was bland. The place was almost empty except what appeared to be 6 servers, ours was MIA. A $38 bill for food and service not worthy of fast food. Not a single table visit from our server after dropping off our order, not even to bring the bill. Never again. Sorry Green Lake, you needed and breakfast and lunch place. The early reviews showed promise but this has fallen off the tracks.

Green lake has needed a place like this!!!!! Such a beautiful restaurant … I love the patio and the rooftop. Food and coffee are amazing. The staff I interacted with were fabulous and super nice. I really wanted to make this cafe to work out with decent food. Went for breakfast today. It is basically “food off a truck”. Nothing homemade. Already prepared and ready to heat. Potatoes overcooked, hard slices and cool. No substitutions. My husband asked for no cheese on burrito but they were unable to accommodate as burritos are already made. Monkey bread had good flavor but not very gooey like some I have had. Probably microwaved.
Cute place with great service. Green Lake needs a place for breakfast but sadly this is not it…..at least yet.

Wow! What a great addition to Green Lake. The stunning views make this place even better. The food was super fresh and the vibe was light and friendly. Staff were super helpful in decision making. My wife & I dined with a couple of friends at Scoot’s Cafe yesterday and it was an absolute treat. Exactly what Green Lake needs . . . a cozy place with views of the lake for family & friends to gather and enjoy breakfast or lunch. We had a late morning reservation so our group was able to try a variety of offerings from their all day breakfast or lunch menu. From the stuffed french toast to skillets or the Mahi Mahi Tacos- everything from preparation to presentation was spot on and delicious! We didn’t try the mimosa’s or bloody mary offerings on this visit- but they looked inviting & something to look forward to on our next visit! We can’t wait & you shouldn’t either, better get Scoot’s Cafe on your Green Lake must visit list before the lines are out the door!
