This is, hands down, the best dining out experience you can have. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is warm and welcoming, and everything on the menu is a cut above. Trust me, you will not find this quality of food for this value within a 100-mile radius.

My husband and I visited Sebastian’s yesterday, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. This wasn’t our first time dining here and every visit has been excellent. The food is always delicious and beautifully prepared, never disappointing. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: lively enough to feel welcoming, yet calm enough to enjoy conversation. Our waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable and kind. I only wish I had remembered his name, because he truly added to our experience. Sebastian’s continues to be one of our favorite places to dine, and we look forward to returning again soon!

Loved everything.. i moved into the area from just north of Chicago 10 years ago, best meal ive had..the sliders, wine. Lamb and pork outstanding. Salad dressing to die for. Just wish my wedge salad was colder..ill be back soon

Sensations has surpassed my expectations. The service was impeccable. I never had to ask for my water to be filled. Our waiter was the best I have had in years. The atmosphere was very comfortable. And the food was amazing. I enjoyed every minute of this dinning experience. Truely a diamond in disguise.

I really enjoyed this place. We've been looking for a cozy atmosphere to enjoy a nice romantic dinner, and this place hit the spot.
We ordered bone marrow for starters, which came with toast bread - really good. It was really flavorful. The main dishes were pork tomahawk and the prime grade ribeye (with a side of mushrooms). I thought both platters were tasty. My boyfriend thought the pork was a little under seasoned, but the glaze made up for it. The doneness of my steak was perfect throughout the whole cut. Then for dessert, we had the blackberries and cream, and the brandy Alexander (ice cream drink). They were both phenomenal.
However, I think the service was the star of the show. We were greeted warmly, seated quickly (we did have reservations tho), and our server (Logan) was very polite, kind and clear. He took his time to explain the menu for us and brought all of the dishes to the table with perfect timing. The other servers kept filling up our glasses. And everyone kept checking in with our (and surrounding) tables.
Another thing to point out is that despite the amount of people at the place (the parki glot was packed), the restaurant seemed to be a little compartmentalized, so it never felt like we were in a crowded place, we never had to raise our voices to hear each other, or found any of the inconveniences that you might encounter at a crowded restaurant. It felt really intimate and coY. Every part of the meal came on time, fresh and at the right temperature; no delays and no issues with our order.
We will be coming back, recommending and bringing family along.

Awesome experience. My husband and I just happened to find on our way back to Chicago from Milwaukee. The parking lot was packed so decided it was worth a try. Boy, was it !! . The atmosphere dynamic and fun. The bartender / server who we now know was Cory Sebastian was a delight and very right on regrading our dinner selections. We met regulars who were great to talk to. First time. Travel to find places non chain.
Drinks:dirty martini if you like martini maybe it was the bartender for the day but quality drinks are hard to find.
Brandy old fashioned was decent and flavorful.
Food was ok , had the bone marrow , kale salad and pork.
Bone marrow was flavorful, brows was crispy.
Kale salad needed more, felt like liquid smoke was added to give the grilled effect.
Pork was decent and done just right.
The energy just felt off from decor, to the staff, to the balance of the food.
The hostess seemed lost as she passed into the kitchen frequently.
The wait staff mingling at the kitchen door for long periods of time. I understand they are waiting for food.
The decor needed to stick a flow and theme. Either the country look or 90s curtains.

This was the first time (but not last) that we visited Sebastians and as this was our tenth anniversary, we were hoping to have a memorable dining experience. We most certainly did. We waited only a. Purple of minutes at the bar, and our bartender was fantastic! Very friendly and service was very quick. Outstanding bourbon old fashioned. We weee then seated by our hostess and were introduced to our waitress Lea. I swear she was only serving us by the attention we received. When we mentioned that it was our anniversary, she immediately offered us champagne on the house, which we had with desert. We both ordered the Friday night specials - my wife the baked salmon with roasted potatoes and I ordered the breaded pork schnitzel and spatlesa. Both were incredible. My wife was in heaven and the schnitzel was out of this world. When we were finished with the entrees we had the chocolate flourless desert with the champagne. Best desert I believe either of us ever had. I cannot say enough about Sebastian’s - the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. Thank you Lea for such a wonderful evening!

My husband surprised me with dinner reservations for our wedding anniversary here and he told them we were celebrating (although they must’ve forgotten because we didn’t get a congratulatory anything or even a mention of it.. not that we needed it but at a fancy restaurant it’s fun to celebrate) It was our first time and we thought we would have high quality food and fine dining experience but we were wrong. The first thing that happened when we sat down was a bug crawled out of my napkin and I had to kill it with my butter knife. We sat at our table for 10-15mins before our waiter came and we told him about the bug. He took my napkin and knife and left the bug guts on the table linen for me to enjoy with my dinner I guess. We waited 45 mins before we even got bread and butter and that was after I reminded the waiter about it. I got a jalapeño cucumber margarita and it was ok but didn’t taste any jalapeno at all. We got the special appetizer which was crab claws for $27. I am not exaggerating when I say we got 4 TINY claws on a plate with a lemon and cocktail sauce. There was two bites of crab meat for each of us. My husband got the ribeye which he said was ok but that I’ve cooked better steaks for him at home. His sides were one small golden potato cut into quarters and cold, and one small side of cauliflower (like literally a couple of pieces). I got the scallops. The scallop itself was cooked fine but it was drenched in what looked like movie theater popcorn butter, bright yellow and very salty. This came with three scallops and a tiny side of mush. The mush they served with the scallops tasted like mushy Thanksgiving stuffing in soy sauce. Ambience had potential but I don’t prefer bugs as table decor :/ won’t be going back.

We went out for my wife's birthday, so we wanted an experience, a place that was classy yet not full of itself. Sebastian was exactly the spot for us. First, we started in the bar, and our bartender set the tone for a great evening; then we moved into the dining room, and our waiter was perfect for the mood I was shooting for, friendly and fun of energy gladly answered all our question and never rushed us no matter how much time we were taking, for me the place is cozy and welcoming but it a staff that makes the place, if you get a bad server or a bartender it doesn't matter how good the food if you leave disappointed, as sebastions, we always leave happy,

We went to Sebastian’s last night for the first time and it was PHENOMENAL.
We had the oysters, bone marrow canoes, salmon and lamb. The lamb was the best I’ve ever had. The only thing I think was missing was a gravy boat filled with the Demi glacé - it was soooooo good I want to put it on everything.
Service was excellent from start to finish. They really made this birthday girl feel special. :)

My husband and I went here for a Birthday Celebration, the flourless cake was great! His martini was great, unfortunately his steak a ribeye was cooked perfect the meat was tough, and for 53.00 dollars you expect more. I had a coffee braised steak it was not too bad, a little dry. My son ask me last minute to have dinner, somewhere between Kenosha County and Milwaukee, he picked Sabastian's because he heard good things about the restaurant, and I am very happy he did. I arrived first, the staff was very nice and invited me to sit at the bar. The bartender was helpful. My son arrived and our waitress was Patti, my name is Patti so that was a bond we had. She was very attentive, has worked there 22 years, helped us choose from a great menu, and our meals were not only beautify displayed on the plate, lovely presentation, but both our meals were delicious. I don't often write reviews but I will defiantly return and I also will be telling my family, friends and clients

I absolutely love this place. It is the perfect place to celebrate an occasion or just enjoy a great meal. I have been to many steakhouses all over the country and this is still the best filet I have ever had, right in my hometown. Their apps, salads and desserts are great too. I recommend an ice cream drink for dessert. Between their WI old fashioneds, excellent meats and ice cream drinks served up in a cozy atmosphere, I would call this place a very proper supper club, which I love. Not to mention, they have the best service around. Reid recommended a delicious wine to go with my meal and was the best server I have ever had. He was incredibly attentive and very personable. I will definitely be back soon!

The full experience - long but necessary. Birthday celebration with 4 had to move a week. Had recommendations for here as well as Corner House. This menu sounded more innovative so here we go. Phone staff articulate and polished on 3 different calls. Upon arrival again front of the house was polished, cordial, calm and in control. At 7 pm we were seated at once - I have to describe the vibe as boisterous - but not in a bad way - just a packed house full of conversation and laughter. Not many twosomes on this Saturday night...4 and up...way up with a party of maybe 14 nearby. Seating gave ample room. The chairs are HEAVY and you won't be sliding around, oh no. Opposite our seating area, at this South end of the venue is a large and inviting fireplace room - next time we'll request seating there. Having drooled over the online menus at length before arrival we'd already made decisions. Since the appetizers offered their own intrigue we ordered six to get a comprehensive idea of flavor and presentation: Tuna Tataki, lobster cakes, grilled oysters, vegetable tempura, dumplings and crab stuffed poblano. Upon delivery....wowza...each its own bold personality. Of particular note is the extraordinary lightness and bursts of additional flavor that the slaw or garnish of some of the plates exhibited - uncommonly and unexpectedly fresh and friendly. The dumplings.....while mini works of art they were they lacked flavor that I might have expected given their companions on the table and their impressive look on the dish - like highly decorated minarets in a row. To me they were, well, dumplings with little to commend them save their teasing appearance, especially considering the flavored prowess of their five other table offerings. Allow your own inclinations to to steer you here, they just weren't a highlight.. Yes they were all consumed. I must praise the grilled oysters. Never before had an oyster. Nope. These were life-changing. An exprice vacation on a plate. Do these. Entrees: filet mignon with with two scallops added, the walleye, steak baguette and I had the evening's special branzino over the best, creamiest risotto ever. We all sampled the entire repast. Superlative preparation and attention to plating were notable to the eye and palate. Each dish displayed the result of quality ingredients, care and craft o of the kitchen and timely service. Speaking of service; Logan H. The four of us at the table comprise many decades of food adventures, but we always hope for and delight in the labor of an extraordinary server, whose presence, personality and deft skill invariably escalate the experience beyond "a dinner out". Logan demonstrated the spirited hospitality, knowledge and attentiveness that warrants the highest praise - you will find yourself in good stead with him. Now dessert. Banana Banshee. What the hell was that!? An enormous metal goblet embarrassingly heaped with the most soft delicious confection - the best photo-op of the night which didn't happen. I had creme brulee (which I make rather well occasionally) and this did not disappoint. A particularly which layer which require d tenacity to break. I like the custard a bit more set up than this one offered, but nice nonetheless. A complimentary slice of cake was presented to me for carryout. I didn't see it on the menu but I can say that for breakfast it was one over-the-top fudge laden chocolate laden whipped cream slathered hunka paradise. I hope you'll need no more incentive to reward yourself to a similarly noteworthy and memorable experience.

Perfection. Started with Bryan, our bartender. Made the most amazing white cranberry martini cosmo. I then started with the chicken andouille soup . The ingredients were finely chopped and the broth was seamless blend of spices, chicken and sausage. As good as any I've had on the Florida coast. The organic salmon Tuscan style did not disappoint. A generous piece of fish cooked just right. My wife had the walleye, her favorite. A beautiful portion of fish, light, flaky, and gently crusted with Panko. We finished by sharing a brandy alexander. If you go here, you must have one. Piled four inches high in a stainless steel martini glass. They freeze the glass ahead of time and no matter how slowly you eat, it NEVER melts. Smooth and delicious! Don't wait for a special occasion, just go and enjoy.

This was the first time we went to Sebastian's and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the filet was possibly the best in the Milwaukee area. Our server was super attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. The cocktail selection was extremely delicious as well. We went with a group of friends and we all felt the same way! This was our second visit to Sebastian’s. Our first visit was very good in both service and the food was excellent. Our second visit was not the same. My 3 stars was only because our waiter was very good. I ordered the Ribeye special ($70) and it was over cooked and dry. My wife had the Halibut which was also over cooked. We were disappointed with the food after having a very good dinner on our first visit. We have no issues spending $200 for a nice dinner, but this one was extremely disappointing! We might give it one more try.

6/5 Stars!!! The food is nothing short of awesome. The service and care treated to us by the FOH staff was impeccable. The food and anything you order is deliciously excellent. Some restaurants do their best to stay just open. Sebs truly cares from top to bottom, which is very difficult to find these days and they do this by simply showing you. We had a wonderful meal with friends at Sebastian’s. This was our first time back since returning to the shores of Lake Michigan from the shores of the Puget Sound, and if anything, Sebastian’s is better. It is so much more than a Wisconsin supper club. The Walleye preparation might be the best seafood dish in the state of Wisconsin. Wow! However, everything else on the menu is prepared with expertise and love. Even my wedge salad rose above the ordinary. Farm to table represents fabulous tastes at Sebastian’s. The kitchen has confidence and knows what the end game is, a happy clientele.
Family owned for decades, Cory Sebastian has taken the reigns from her parents and has done the family proud. With a lovely space, a welcoming bar, professional service, Sebastian’s is worth the 25 minute drive from Milwaukee. Prices are very reasonable. Go and enjoy one of the best dining spots in the Badger state.

They have an amazing Friday special for under $30, generous cocktails, and a full menu from escargot to duck pasta. Unassuming spot in between Oak Creek and Racine this restaurant can compete with any big city fine dining experience. Oh yeah, they also procure from their own garden in the backyard. Overall the experience was very good as was the food. We had 3 couples and told the waitress each would pay their own. She was more than happy to accommodate and she did a good job. However, At the end we waited a long time for our bills and when they came they were all messed up. Meals and drinks were all over the place. I ended up with a $200 bill and the others were like $90 and $85. Was so confusing that we just decided to pay and and then work out the corrections later amongst our selves. Basically it was about $125 per couple. We will be back but please make sure if your in a group that the wait staff is accurate about how had what. That is the reason for the service rating and the 3 stars, would certainly been higher except for that ending.

I've been eating here since they opened in 2000. I've never had a bad meal or bad service. First getting to know Scott and talking food with him sometimes over a drink at the bar, and then seeing his daughter Cory take over the reins... great people and glad to see the next generation doing the same great stuff. Even bought a few custom knives from a bladesmith Scott recommended.

We went to Sebastian’s for a birthday dinner and loved every detail.
Service was gracious and knowledgeable. The hostess, bartender and server were all so friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere is a charming and cozy. The fireplace is perfect in a restaurant like this.
Classic entrees with creative twists are offered. Side are included also.
Overall Sebastian’s is perfect for a simple night out or a special occasion meal. I can’t wait to return!

My family recently visited Sebastian's for my mother-in-law's birthday and it was our first visit there. My husband, 8 year old, I are all vegan, so I reached out to the restaurant in advance to see what might be available as the menu online didn't have very much for us. Ian responded quickly with options and the chef made us a vegan tofu stir-fry that was amazing and ready for us when our table ordered (we just had to give them our name, our waitress already knew). It was delicious and all three of us ate every bite! Everyone else at the table thought it looked good as well! For desert, my sister-in-law brought a cake, that wasn't vegan, and our waitress was able to find some sorbet for the three of us, which was so good! Our waitress (I wish I could recall her name) was very pleasant and friendly and the entire experience was so nice. We greatly appreciate the ease in which we were able to be accommodated and the wonderful experience we had!

Sebastians is a decent place to dine, but not exceptional. Our server was good, but she didn't seem to know much about menu items. The bartender, however, was very helpful. The ambience is cozy, but more casual than I had expected-- most patrons were in t shirts and jeans. The food was good, but the prices were quite high for what we received-- E.G., the beet salad is just one beet with 15 tiny pieces of spring lettuce, very sparse, and it cost $10! I would expect such prices in the Chicago area, but not Racine at a casual establishment. The dining experience was decent, but not worth the price on our bill.

No bread came to our table. I had to ask twice. I thought he'd remember when the salads came. 😥
Then when it came i had to laugh. Biscuit looking buns? Really?
No warm loaf. No baked potatoes either.

We had the brie stuffed chicken breast, duck breast and rack of lamb…all exceptional both in presentation and preparation! We all thought this was better than Bartolotta’s which we have frequented for many years. Please continue to maintain this level of quality.
Update - 11/17/23
We just returned for our 3rd time back since my initial review, and each time it has been excellent. This time it was a Friday and we tried the Friday special pre fixe offering of twin pork tenderloin medalions. What a great choice! We can also highly recommend their special old fashion made with 5 year brandy. Nick our server was wonderful as well. We already have another reservation booked with family in December.

Sebastian's is one of my favorite places for dining out. The food is always excellent and cooked to order. The wait staff is always professional and friendly. We were first seated in a room that had two large parties on either side of us. They were so loud we couldn't even hear each other. The wait person was able to move us to a much quieter spot. The rest of the meal was great. The owner is so nice and friendly as well. A great place for special occasions!

A gem in north Racine. Legitimately some of the best food I've had in SE Wisconsin. I live in Milwaukee and Sebastian's is as good, if not better, than most restaurants in the city. Another selling point is the amazing service here. It's certainly not overbearing but you will never feel unattended to. Strongly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

What a hidden gem. If you haven't checked this restaurant out, then you need to!! We had the medallions with scallops and the baked salmon. The tenderloin was very tasty, the scallops melted in your mouth and the salmon was cooked to perfection. We can't wait to return and try more of the items on their menu.
