My husband and I were passing through the area so we stopped in for a fish fry tonight. First and foremost our server Kaylin did a great job waiting on us. Very attentive and made our visit a happy one. Now for the fish fry-I would give it more stars if I could. The fish had Excellent flavor and the potato pancakes are beyond delicious. Nice bar/restaurant actually attached to country inn and suites the hotel we were staying at for the night didn't need to drive anywhere. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced there was a good selection of food selections and a bar with drinks available. We had cod sandwich and burger sandwich both were delicious. I believe food service ends at eight or nine so check before you go if it's later, we came at about 7:30 p.m and told to relax and enjoy dinner no rush. I highly recommend this place will definitely stop again next time we pass through

Our first stop after we checked into our hotel in town/port for a weekend stay..
It was about 5pm and we wanted to eat so we could pub-crawl back into town/port.
While driving my wife called in a reservation and we got seated quickly. It took a lot of time for our server to even acknowledge us approx. 15-20 min. We were honestly close to leaving; the older lady who sat us came over and asked if we had been taken care of yet. When she realized we had not she got someone over quickly. It seemed like they were either short staffed training [or both?]..not sure. Anyways the food and drinks were very good. I had the breaded fish special, spinach/pita dip and she had the grilled chicken salad.
So I would go back, would have been 5-stars if we would have gotten a bit more timely service. Other than that a good place for both locals/travelers.

What a wonderful experience. Came to Port Washington for a wedding. Checked into the hotel and wandered downstairs to have a bite to eat and a little liquid refreshments. Had the fried cauliflower and the Cod, which I must say was truly amazing. Service was wonderful, the beer was cold and the prices were very reasonable. If only more restaurants in Florida were this good, life would be great. Looking forward to eating here again before we head home.

I wish I could give this place a better review but our dinner experience was terrible. We were told when we ordered that they were out of 3 different menu items (regular menu items, not specials) but ok, we ordered & waited 25 minutes only for the waitress to tell us they were out of one of the dinners we ordered. Ok, try again (ordered a cheeseburger - they can't screw that up right?) Wait another 20 minutes, the cheeseburger comes out with obvious signs they put things on the burger and took it back off but forgot the toppings requested. Waitress goes back for the toppings - brings out the wrong toppings. Waitress goes back again, whew! 3rd times the charm I guess. Then there was hair in the burger. Yup, won't ever be eating there again. They did give us 2 free drinks to try and redeem the situation. But the only redeeming quality - the music on Saturday was good, maybe just come for music and drinks and skip the food.

I got the sense there's a lot of tables being turned over very quickly and it was certainly busy. The food was surprisingly tasty. That clam chowder is on point. Menu has a wide variety of items, and everything I've tried is delicious! Very reasonable prices and weeknight dinner specials. Their Friday Fish Fry is my favorite in Ozaukee County! Fish is lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned, and they have a soup and salad bar. Casual atmosphere, very friendly staff, wide selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Try the Prime Rib Bites appetizer, Perch dinner and Creme Brulee for dessert.
They only serve dinner for now, but hopefully they'll add lunch someday.

Our food was fantastic! We had the Thursday night rib special, which is 3.5 lbs of ribs,fries and coleslaw for $10.00. We also had an order of prime bites and the artichoke dip with homemade pita bread. We took some of each home to enjoy, because we needed to save room for dessert! My husband had warm apple cobbler served ala mode. I had a triple chocolate trifle. Both were amazing! We had a beer and a tall old fashioned. For all of this our bill was $43 dollars and everything was top notch. We ate at another local restaurant the previous week and paid double that for way less food, that was mediocre at best. Definitely will be going back to try something else!
