There is a bar and some outdoor seating in addition to the dining room. The atmosphere in the dining room was elegant yet cosy so Diana and I chose that. The service provided by Dezerie was excellent as was the food The rib eye was very tender and the beet salad was great. We will be back.

We showed up on a Friday night and there wasn't a table immediately available, so we hung out at the bar for a bit. The wait wasn't excessive and the bartender was a sweetheart. Let my fiance sample a whisky he had never tried before buying. After we got our table, the excellent service continued. Their attention to detail was everything. Food portions were perfect and everyone liked their food.

It was our 5th time being at Shallow Waters and never were disappointed before our last visit the past Friday. We were able to get a table pretty quick and it was a bit on the busy side as usual for Friday night fish fry. We were able to get our drinks fairly quick and appetizer took about 30 minutes. We all ordered the walleye dinner. 20 minutes later server says there is only enough walleye for one. So we let the one person in our group go ahead with the walleye plate since its been awhile since he has had some. About another 45 minutes still no food. So after about an hour and a half we couldn't wait any more. They were kind enough to comp the drinks and appetizer.
Again, all our previous visits were great! Just not sure what was going on this past Friday. They have always been able to handle everything great before.

What a joy to find.

Small but creative and delicious menu. Potato cheese curds are interesting and well-presented. Spicy Shrimp and Peach salad was a delight of interesting flavors that worked so well together. Shrimp and Scallop angel hair was tasty without being overwhelmed with lots of sauce.

Great, friendly service from the bartender.

Adequate free parking (there's more in the back), nice back deck overlooking the Wisconsin river with docks for boaters to join in the experience.

While I miss the old Club10, it's great to see the old signs still hanging around. Will return.

The Shallow Waters team did an excellent job hosting our after funeral family gathering. I worked with Matt and his staff to come up with a nice meal with in our budget. The waitresses and bartenders did an excellent job of meeting our needs. The food was hot and well prepared. I liked the back room for our group of about 25. It's a nice space for a medium size gathering.

If you're looking for a nice place to gather for a group outing, I recommend checking out Shallow Waters and discussing what your budget is and what you want to accomplish. If it works great, it's a nice venue.

In an area with lots of chain fast food, this establishment is a welcome alternative. The menu is very imaginative. We had the Smoked Salmon Rangoon appetizer, a Jameson and ginger beer and a seltzer drink. All served with a smile by the lovely bartendress, Tara, and it was a pleasurable experience. What a wonderful find! I found this restaurant while doing a search for restaurants near Stevens Point, WI and decided to give it a try.
I went for my birthday lunch with my mother and husband and we all agree that the food and service was excellent.
We had the hummus and tuna tartar and both were delicious. For our entrees, we all had the angel-hair pasta with scallops and shrimp and it was amazing.
We will definitely be back when we visit the area and tell friends about the restaurant. It is so nice to know there a great place to go for some great food!

You wouldn’t expect it from the outside, but this place delivers a top-tier dining experience. The prices are a bit higher than nearby restaurants, but the quality absolutely justifies it.

I had the Korean BBQ pork chop—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Easily in the top 1% of pork chops I’ve ever had. My wife ordered the ribeye steak, and while I didn’t try it myself, it was cooked exactly to her liking and she loved it.

The only small downside was the water—it had a bit of a funky taste. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just something we noticed.

Overall, a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special meal in the area.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner here last Saturday night. My ribeye was seasoned well & cooked perfectly - and a very generous portion for the price. My husband chose the Korean BBQ Pork chop and my only regret is that I didn't steal a second bite. Infused cocktails were quite good, as well. "Mini" gave us solid service, and was very friendly & attentive. We don't live in the area, but we'll definitely be back.

Ribeye special was very good. It was very flavorful. The spicy garlic angel hair pasta with scallops and shrimp was bland. Even adding pepper didn't help to very much. The asparagus spears served as a side with the ribeye had more flavor than the pasta.

I absolutely love exploring new food spots! I recently did a bit of digging and discovered this charming place called Shallow Waters. The potato cheese curds caught my eye—they looked incredible! It’s about a 40-minute drive from Waupaca, but trust me, it's totally worth it. When we arrived, the place was super cute and had such a great vibe. Kyle, the bartender, was super friendly, and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend checking it out! Plus, there was a train passing by that added a lovely touch to the whole atmosphere.

Front end manager, Tara, was great - friendly, informative and makes a great martini! Food was superb. Very upscale menu. Food quality was exceptional. Presentation was beautiful! A hidden gem. A group of us eat out weekly and this was definitely a restaurant we will frequent again! Maybe even our top pic! Everyone should try it! You won’t be disappointed. The history of this bar is great. But it is far more than a bar. With the new renovations this is just what the area needed and now you can dock and eat in the summer! We live in Plover and drive there not just for the atmosphere but also the people. Great, friendly service. Appealing upper scale interior. Really nice options for cocktails, wine, and beer. The food was fabulous! Burger was phenom and the Chicken Alfredo was unreal. Great appetizers. Friday fish fry is bomb! You really can't go wrong traveling 5 min out of Point to grab a bite to eat here!

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and seated right away. The service was exceptional—our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The atmosphere was clean and beautifully set, giving off great vibes.

We started with the potato cheese curds, which were absolutely to die for—I could’ve easily eaten a dozen! The pork belly was cooked to perfection as well. For our mains, we had the swordfish and tenderloin, both of which were flawlessly prepared, melting in your mouth with incredible flavor. Major compliments to the chef and staff.

We finished with the chocolate fudge cake and ice cream for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending. Everything was so delicious. Highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely amazing dinner. I loved the potato cheese curd appetizers. The swordfish special was superb! It was seared to perfection. The hash (potatoes, walnuts, and asparagus) was phenomenal! I have never liked asparagus, but I would eat this every day. The accompanying sauces on both dishes were perfection. I had the "Inferno" burger 5 times so far. All the burgers are 1/2 lb with either a handful of fries or side salad. It's a lot of food but I like the challenge. Definitely reccomend this place for anyone craving American food. Also they have a full bar ;)
