Excellent pub. Great menu choices, feels a little more upscale than the name implies. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance (looks like normal Wisconsin bar &grill). Cool interior and great service. We ordered the Italian paniniand the Blackened Mahi Mahi. Both were excellent with at least a half dozen menu items we want to go back and try. Will visit again.

We were surprised that we were able to be seated immediately at 5:00 for 5 people during peak tourist season. The prices were a bit higher than I expected (more comparable to Madison or Milwaukee prices), but quality of the service and food exceeded our expectations! My husband accidentally ordered baked rather than fried cod for fish fry and was glad he did because it was so good! We agreed the old fashioneds (sweet with fruit) were some of the best we have had at a restaurant in a long time! Keep it up Shamrock!

Don’t let the outside fool you the food inside is excellent. Our party had a little bit of everything the brisket melt, a burger and brisket, Thai peanut wraps, and a turkey melt all were delicious. The waitress was attentive, even though she was running the whole show other than cooking.

Nice little north woods bar/restaurant. I had the pork tacos and my hubby had the shamrock burger. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. We have been here a handful of times and were always impressed but never took the time to write a review. Today we stopped in and had the kebab skewer and baha tacos with breaded Mahi Mahi. Both were fantastic. Friendly hometown service and impressive dishes. Another outstanding dish I have enjoyed here is the seafood enchilada. It's not on the menu normally so watch their social media to see when the chef will have it. Stop by and give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

A large group (21) of us came in on 8/9/24. They do not take reservations but I called on our way, a little before 5, and got on wait list. We were seated by 6. The 2 servers were excellent. The restaurant handled our group smoothly & fast. Food came out quick and hot and accurate.

As a large group, they will do one bill per table or they were able to combine the two tables bills into one for us.

We were on vacation visiting family in the area. Stopped in for Friday fish fry. Party of eight, so we waited for the table. Bar was hopping and lots of people having a great time. The perch was excellent (shared from my cousin) but it was the seafood enchiladas (the special that day) that took the top prize for me. So good. I cannot emphasize how good it was. Probably one of the best seafood dinners I have ever eaten. The lobster sauce over the top was a perfect compliment to the shrimp, crab, and fish in the enchilada. If they offer it, get it.

Please ensure to check your receipt / bill! As we were over charged with a credit card charge already added to the bill and it was being taxed, with an extra surcharged on top of that getting taxed as well. We were not even paying with a credit card and were paying with cash. My husband caught this and went to the bar to ask why these extra charges were on the receipt, as our waitress was busy with other tables. Then our waitress went back and rung everything up again without those extra charges and we just felt this was very dishonest for them to make extra money. The food was OK. Although, we were very disappointed in the dishonesty on our bill and wonder how many other customers have they done this too that didn't notice this or question it. It's just not right! :o(

The menu here has something for everyone. There is a good selection of fish for the Friday fish fry. There is also a selection of Flatbread and regular pizzas. They have plain and creative options to please all. I had the gyro burger which was a delicious spin on the traditional sandwich. They also serve Italian food. They were so busy since it was Independence Day; however, we were seated without a wait. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel entree and the sauce was exceptional. I had the Athenian Flatbread which was flavored like a gyro. It was good too. I had asked for no tomatoes, but I ended up having to pick all of them off, oh well things happen. Would have given 0 stars if possible. My family recently snowmobiled here and we stopped for a few drinks to get out of the cold. Once we sat down and were starting on our drinks, one of the bartenders told us we couldn't sit at the bar anymore and would have to leave because they were too many people in bar for us to be at the bar. After working in a restaurant I would never tell patrons to leave unless they were being disorderly, so this was downright poor management. What a disappointment. We will never be back.
