I have been in this place many times over the last summer . I can not say a bad thing about the place. The only thing I have ever had for food this far has been PIZZA that’s cause it’s absolutely amazing. The thin crust is perfect. This is our favorite place on Castle Rock Lake to eat, have a drink, listen to music and enjoy the view. As a family owned business they take pride in what they have created. Shipwreck Bay Id forgotten how much I enjoyed this restaurant & bar. 15 years ago, this was a favorite. A place for a great burger, a few beers and a good chat.

Today, I was more than pleasantly surprised to find it's STILL a great restaurant and their wraps are as good, if not better than, a FANTASTIC burger.

I'll be back, this place rocks. Really nice servers, very pleasant atmosphere, family friendly and ready to go.

My wife and I came for dinner and Sat down as the place was not busy at all. Upon sitting down I observed 6 employees and after sitting for more than 15 minutes it took my wife to finally ask a server if we were going to be helped. Only thing this place has going for it is the lake access which will always draw a crowd. Pretty poor service

We went for dinner and were really disappointed in the surf and turf. We will go back as the other food we saw people eating looked decent. Our server was good but got pulled to a very large table as we were finishing and never came back. We had the smothered chicken and the Sunday special broasted chicken. Both were excellent and we each took home a meal for tomorrow! Portions were generous, service, we ate at the bar, was also excellent. Bartender was attentive and friendly. Quiet when we went in but became busy fast. Parking was packed as expected on a weekend. We were seated right away. Outside is always the best for us because the view of Castle Rock Lake is great!
Service was mechanical, but adequate. We would have liked desert, but it felt like we were being rushed to leave. The food is better than all of the other restaurants in the area and it's not all fried. The mixed drinks are excellent.

They slaughtered my ahi tuna. Blackened is a flavor, not a hockey puck. So I sent it back to the kitchen. And then they made my server bring it back to me and have me show them how it was unacceptable. And then have this poor girl tell me they weren't taking it off the bill. But thank you to both the male and female owners for confronting me about it at the table. I can handle that my meal wasn't going to go as planned, but the extra thought and effort and lack of class you put into ruining dinner for the rest of my party was a disgrace. It's easy to tell that they are completely unequipped to deal with customer service. Please go back to being a manager at whatever fast food restaurant you came from.

We went there for their fish fry. Arrived around 4pm, just a few tables were occupied. Sat at the bar, where the bartender wouldn't come over to serve us. Was her shift end. She finally came around, and we order our drinks (one suggestion: smile once in awhile). Our waitress arrive and we ordered calamari, which arrived promptly, very good. Second round of drinks, different bartender, more personable and she smiled. Waitress comes back, we order our dinner, ahi tuna, perch, and salmon. Meals come with choice of potato and side salad or coleslaw. 3 of us had side salads and the other had coleslaw with dinner. For potato choice, 3 had baked potato and the other had hashbrowns. The salads arrived and they were nice size with plenty of toppings. Out of the food, this was the best of the whole meal. The salmon and ahi were overcooked. The 2 yellow perch fillets were about 6-8 inch long and had a lot of bones in them. Could have been a bad order, from a different vendor. Yes, we could have sent them back, but we needed to be somewhere else. As for the waitress, she was always checking up on us. When the bills arrived, there were two total costs, one if using a credit card and one for if paying with cash. We paid cash for our meals. For one couple, the entire meal came to almost $100, including tip. The other couple, it was around $85, including tip.

Food came out 40 min. late and cold and had to be remade, my daughter bit into her wrap and found a 3 inch piece of plastic in her food, waitress apologized, manager Brian never came out to apologize. Shipwreck Bay is one of the few dining choices right on Castle Rock Lake. It is well kept, clean, and family friendly. There is a boat dock, beach volleyball and large outdoor deck and bar with TVs. They also have boat and kayak rental. They do a lot right and the atmosphere is terrific, but at $18 for a basic burger you’ll pay big city prices.
